Hello, I am using Siteground and I setup the cron job and SMTP with google. I test and its working. However, when I user upload a document, I dont receive any email notification which I want. I saw that is possible but I dont receive them

Does the clients have their own dashboard? When I create an user, he is able to see other peoples files. How to remove that? I want only the user to see their files

So, I tested the SMTP from google and its working fine. However, when I test the SMTP from Siteground Emails, it does not work.

While configuring SMTP, if you receive a confirmation email indicating successful configuration, then your SMTP setup is working correctly. You will then need to set up the CRON job to receive emails. Please refer to our documentation for the same.

If you do not receive any email during SMTP configuration, it means you need to review and correct your SMTP settings.

Without OCR this app is incomplete. please include OCR

Please note that most users host this script on shared hosting; however, OCR functionality requires a dedicated server or VPS since the Tesseract library must be installed on the server.

Currently, the system does not support a SaaS version. Customization would be required to enable SaaS support.

Integration with a centralized authentication system (e.g., within a company or across multiple departments)

Notifications, validation workflows, fine-grained role and access management, legal export/archiving, and format migration. You must verify that the script supports all these aspects or is easily customizable to add them.

Security/Compliance: Does it support requirements such as data encryption, full logs, audit logs, least privilege rights, AD/LDAP or SSO integration, and legal retention periods? If not, these will need to be added or adapted.

Archiving over time & migrations: Your requirement mentioned legal archiving (duration, longevity), permanent formats (PDF/A), and automatic destruction after X years. The script may not offer all of these out of the box.

Integration into your existing system: You already have an architecture (for example, with document sharing, different services, roles) — the script must be able to integrate (API, customization).

Scalability & maintenance: As your company grows, document volumes increase, and search, performance, and backup/distribution needs become critical. The script must be robust and efficient.

in next version please add - Error logs - AWS S3 and Cloudflare R2 support - OCR (Text Extraction from Scanned Documents and Images) - Request document via workflow - Document category to N level - Advanced text extraction from handwritten documents - Folder and Document Share permission - OCR Content Extractor with multi-language support - OCR-Based Deep Search (Search inside scanned PDFs and images) - Signature on PDF Drag and Drop

The above features are already included in another script: User Document Management Starter Framework for Enterprise-Level Solutions in Angular & .NET Core . This script was purchased by a customer who wants to host it on shared hosting, where some features require a VPS or dedicated server. Therefore, we are not going to include the OCR feature in the script in the future as well.

Does it support FTP as external storage?

Currently, it does not support FTP. We will add it to the future version.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will consider the above points for a future release. The challenge is that most users purchase the script to host the application on shared hosting. However, implementing the above features requires OCR and vector database storage, which in turn need a dedicated server — something that might be expensive for users. Therefore, it would be better to offer these features as customisations for individual clients.

Hello, how are you? My partner and I purchased this script a few months ago. I don’t have the buyer seal because the purchase was made on his account, but I would like to report some problems and suggestions so that they can be considered in a future update: Logo on smaller screens: The system allows you to change the application logo (e.g., Docspro). However, when accessing devices with smaller screens, such as smartphones, the default Document Management logo still appears instead of the new logo. Bug after update: We updated to the latest version and identified an error. For old users (created before the update), if we change the permissions, the account is corrupted, displaying an error on the dashboard and preventing any action. The only solution we found was to delete these users and recreate them after the update. Only then was it possible to change permissions without problems. Report suggestion: Do you have plans to add reports with graphs? For example, displaying how many documents are added per day, month, or year, in addition to the overall total and per category. If this is not in the roadmap, what would be the estimated cost to implement this feature? Thank you for your attention and for your excellent work in developing the system!

1. Logo on Smaller Screens

The smaller logo is currently designed for larger screens with a collapsed menu. On mobile devices, the full logo is displayed, which should not cause any usability issues. However, we did notice a minor UI inconsistency in the mobile menu bar. This has already been noted, and we will address it in the next release.

2. Bug After Update

We have reviewed the reported issue, and in our testing, the functionality appears to be working correctly. In some cases, the problem may be related to browser caching after the update. We recommend logging out, performing a hard refresh, and then logging back in. If the issue persists, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist further.

3. Report Suggestion

At this time, we do not have plans to include advanced reporting features (such as graphs for daily, monthly, or yearly document uploads) in our standard roadmap. However, we would be glad to discuss this as a custom requirement. One question, I have a demand, it would be for employee document management, I need the script to identify some documents and in the absence of some that are mandatory it does not release the employee’s documentation, can I do this?
