Do you know of any conficts with the Generate Press premium theme. I had a problem using the awesome weather widget on my site http://thecatholictravelguide.com/ Their widget works great on desktop, but can’t change cities on mobile, and their designers can’t figure it out.

$18 is a good price…don’t mind paying at all, but just don’t want to end up in the same situation. Also, I am not a coder, so just need something simple for users…who are, naturally, on more mobile devices than desktops.

Hi,

I have not had any problems with searching cities on mobile yet.

You can send me a copy of the theme and I can quickly test it out to see if there are any problems. However, please note that I cannot guarantee everything will work with your site, as there may be customizations on your theme that affects the plugin.

If you do encounter any problems though, I would be happy to work close with you to sort the problem out.

Here is my purchase code. 4883f86a-746b-4a28-a715-9c06310acda9 I would like to know why, when I use the image background, the search icon does not show. It does show when I use the color background ( I switched back to color background for now).

Also, is it possible to make that search icon larger, and say “search” ?

One more thing, I changed it to say “click the search icon below for weather anywhere” but cannot get that change to take. Cleared my cache, not sure what else to do.

Works great on mobile, by the way, which was my main reason for buying it. I am just not much of a coder so hopefully you can answer my questions.

Forgot to give you my site: http://thecatholictravelguide.com/

Hi,

It’s possible that your image background is too colorful that’s why the Search icon does not stand out. You can set it to an image background and I’ll take a look and see how I can help you.

To make the search icon larger use the following css:
.astero .astero-search .astero-searchicon {
    font-size: 1.5em;
}

Where did you place the text “click the search icon below for weather anywhere” ?

Regards

I am still having problems getting the background image to show properly. I wanted the clear sky image but when I select it, it turns out very dark. Not at all like what I wanted. Here is what I mean http://thecatholictravelguide.com/ ...but don’t want to leave it up too long since it is hard to read.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Visiting your website, the weather seems to be using a transparent background and not images background.

Based on your description though, it’s possible that you see a dark image because the weather condition returned is “Clear Night”.

For the weather “Image Background” settings, custom images can be set for 7 weather conditions. You can upload another image for “Clear Night” if you want.

Regards
