Hi ianstudio, 1) Yes the parallax fx is option and you can choose to activate it or not. 2) There are 9 sliding styles you can preview them by pressing up and down arrows when your mouse is over the slider. 3) The slider uses visual composer prettyPhoto lightbox and in most cases adopts the current theme styling. I have never used iLightbox so i can tell for sure

Your “start on slide number” functionality is buggy. Set the number to something other than 0, and then press the arrows on the slider. You’ll notice the slider jumps to the wrong slide when it approaches the end. Seems like low-hanging fruit.
Hi tickletantrum, the “start on slide number” functionality should work just fine as you can see at my slider preview page all demo sliders starts form different number without causing this problem. 1. When you say in Examples “Amy slider – 3rd party Ultimate Addon’ – which addon is this? Do I need to have it in order to have it working?
2.”Amy slider – current theme shortcodes” – does it mean that even though I purchased Amy slider I need the Bridge Theme to make it look look as in the demo?

Hi ellos, i’m sorry for this confusion. The both sections shows that you can add all kind of contain. In 3rd party section i’m showing how you can use shorcodes from 3rd party plugins as content. The same goes for current theme shorcodes. For example if your theme has specific Visual Composer image element with hover effect specific for your theme you can use it as slider content and AMY Slider will look like is build specially for you. In short first 2 preview sections AMY Slider and Embed Content you can achieve with any theme the second 2 sections are achievable with specific theme or 3td party plugin. I hope this make sense

lovely slider …a pre-sell qs – is there a slider for smartphone? I am looking for a slider that will display iphone/android app screenshots and was wondering if this plugin has that or planning to include?

I am also looking to have these images either just open as a lightbox or simply make the screen move downward. I don’t want the user to leave the page by clicking read more.

Love the plugin, just some questions:
1. Is there a way to disable the text all together that shows up on the images?
2. Can we set up the button that’s there to see a larger version of the image as a lightbox?
3. Can I pull images from somewhere other than the blog?
I tried to go through your website but you did not have a option for Amy Slider for VC and it did not recognize my purchase code.
When will there be an update? The plugin as it is now slows my site to a crawl based on my pingdom test and I can not use this.
Also when you try to zero out the excerpt field it will still keep 10 characters in it, even after you save it.
Image distortion is a problem too.
I really like the potential this plugin has but it is unused to me as of right now. How can I get a refund?
Hi gjameson, how exactly slows your site? Can you be more specific? Images are optimised with exact sizes( no oversize), the JS files are less then 20kb + 60kb css which makes it around 80kb i’m not sure how this can slow your site to crawl. I’ve just checked the excerpt and works just fine when you set it to 0. Please check the live preview second slider http://themes.cray.bg/amyslider/slider-style-two/ I’m not sure what you mean by Image distortion? The update is ready and will include feature to use all kind of embeds, iframes, shortcodes, custom pages for content. Basically you can “page build” every single slide and use styled for your theme VC elements. It’s “Game changing ” update. Please open a ticket with more details and i’ll try to help you out. Wen you try to open new ticket just select any product and then click select again and choose AMY Slider for VC ( it’s look like support system bug which i’ll report to developers)
Heya, would be awesome if you had an option to make the entire slider image as a clickable link. I want users to click on the images and be taken directly to that page instead of having to mess around with the hover options. If this is already possible, please point me in the right direction. Great to hear it! Hope you see my point. I don’t usually message plugin developers, id usually just not include them in my customers sites after a certain time. But yours was worth asking about. I know im not the only web designer that has a similar rule so even if you released an update every two months with very minor changes, it would keep your plugin from looking outdated in the ‘Last Updated’ section. Just a thought.
When are we getting an update for this guys. Is this a dead plugin with no further development? Only it affects my consideration for client websites when plugins are 6 months or older.

Great plugin, I just have a couple of suggestions for the next update.
1. Add an option for “infinite loop” so that there is no gap in the transition from the last slide to the first.
2. If you could change typography on an individual slide basis, that would be awesome. With different coloured images as backgrounds it would be nice to be able to make the text more visible.

Hey Guys! I luv this plugin! But in my case the slider dont show any desciption text at hover in my slides, just the title. No matter what style i use. AMY takes the text usually from the specific posts right, or do i have to set the text separatly? Couldnt find any option for that.

i have a brand new iphone 6plus and your demo page crashes the browser. I have purchased the slider for a website that I was building, and it crashed using it there as well, with only one instance. Are there any examples of the slider that work on th ios platform? Please send me a link, I would love to have a shred of hope that I can actually use the plug in at some point. ty!

1) How can I display the image that’s middle of the pack? Not start with the first image, so if 12 images it centers on image 6.
2) Can I make the images wider (already tried larger thumbnail)?
3) And can I insert a link to an external website instead of post item? (Website portfolio, and link opens up that website in another tab).
Hi dessington, 1) Lookf for option Select first slide and set the number of your focus slide. In your case 6. 2) Due to the nature of the slider the width(without css modifications) of the images can be 2 sizes. Normal and as you mention larger thumbs. 3) Yes under your post text editor you will find AMY Slider settings with option to place custom url to whatever you want.

The height can be adjusted by Thumbnail size option but keep in mind that if you add bigger proportion height the image will be cropped.
