I just bought Bookly.
I am frustrated, as I cannot figure out how to make the time length of the service variable? I perform a service for clients that can range between 2-6 hours, as per their choice.

You need to specify duration of services in Services -> Duration (for each service separately). Unfortunately, there is no option to set multiple duration for a single service.

Are we able to skip Setup STEP 4 so that our client has no screen to see in any way, payment options? We do not desire them to see payment options whatsoever.

i would like it to setup more than one service for one appointment and the time for both services should reflex time slot for both services

I soooo want this to work but the google integration has not worked. I have tried to do it in new calenders no luck. It just is not seeing the existing appointments in my clients google calender plus it is not sending the appointment to their google calender. help!
on the google side do you share the @developer.gserveraccount with the calender? I have done that

I just updated to version 4.4 and have a problem now when someone tried to make a booking on the site it says this error message “The start time must be less than the end time” where my start time is 6am and my finish time is 9pm.
I have also noticed now since updating that the field that says “I’m available on or after” in the past I was able to click here and it would display the date box, this no longer happens.
Sorry disregard all that I cleared my browser data and its all good again!

The first time I install Bookly plugin, it works successfully.
However, after my designer made some code change, my site was broken. The webhost technical support helped us to restored database. However, after database was restored, the plugin gone. I tried to install Bookly again, but failed. The error is:
Could not create directory. /home1/mysunny2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/appointment-booking/

It looks like there is a problem with file permissions on the server. Make sure that /home1/mysunny2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ is writable.

HI, I’m evaluating to buy your plugin. Is it possible to select more than one time slot when users or customers ask for an appointment? And again: is it possible to manage free appointment? I ask you this because we need to set up a system for booking time slots with which some financial advisor give a free investment check-up and It could be possible that a user needs more than one time slot to finish the check-up. - Unfortunately, there is no option to select more than one timeslot per booking. Therefore, once customer will book an appointment, Bookly will block number of timeslots according to the length of service.
- It is possible to set up zero price to the required service.

I am setting up this plugin now that I have it properly installed and activated and am trying to find out if the custom fields are editable in any way within the form? For example: When you go through the booking process and it gets to the details step all of the custom fields added (address, comment box, etc…) go the WHOLE width of the page which doesn’t look very professional. Is there a way to change the size of the field boxes in the form so they don’t go the whole width of the page? By default you have Name, Phone, and Email across the top so there are 3 in a row and the boxes are normal sized. But, if I add custom fields I can’t put them side by side or change the boxes?

I keep getting a fatal error when clicking on activate plugin that says: “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/—/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/appointment-booking/main.php on line 31”
I have verified that my hosting is set to PHP 5 as I changed this myself. I am on Wordpress 4.1!

The error message you have is specific to PHP 5.2. Please double check that you are using PHP 5.3 or above. Sometimes you may have different PHP versions for different domains. It may be that your hosting company incorrectly display PHP version on the cPanel.

It looks like you need to enable “mbstring” extension in PHP. You should contact your hosting provider about this.
Also if you are not going to use Stripe it is possible to completely disable it. Please send us a message to support@ladela.com and we will tell you which file to edit.

We only have 1 service.
I need 1 time slot for this service from 9:30 to 12 with a capacity to 2 and I need the other time slot for this service from 2:00 to 4:30 with a capacity of 2. I don’t see an option for this. Can you add this capability to have different capacities for different times? Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is no option to make this kind of timeslot in Bookly. You may set up time slot length to 30 minutes (according to your needs) and in staff members schedule, make a break from 12:00 to 2:00.
Therefore, sometimes we offer plugin customization for additional price. Please contact us at support@ladela.com and we will let you know what is possible to do.
You may set up capacity for the service in Services -> Capacity.

I already did that, some servers are going to have a hard time doing that. You should just update it on codecanyon, it’s better to make it easy for customers to download than to make it more difficult just so others can’t update without a license.

To add booking form shortcode to the page you have to:
- Open a page in the page edit mode;
- By pressing the Add Booking Form button above the text field, you can add the Booking form shortcode to the web page or post;
- By pressing this button (Add Booking Form button) you open a dialogue box, where you can define service category, services, and staff member that will be displayed on the booking form by default;
- Click the Insert button, the plugin shortcode will be added to the page code.

I run a motorcycle rental business and from what I saw I thought bookly would work. issues I have we dont do INTERVALS we would need a dropdown listing rental lengths (day/weekend/week). and some other changes which at this point do not look possible. we dont have emplotees and we would have to reserve via calender for days at a time. is this possible

Unfortunately, there is no option in Bookly. The maximum length of service can be 12 hours.
Regarding the employee field, you can simply set a default value for it and hide it when adding booking form shortcode.

2.Using Dokan, is there a frontend dashboard or is it a link directed to the backend.
3.How does each user control their own bookings and submit bookings.
4.How can I charge my vendors in anyway i.e take commission.

- Unfortunately we are not familiar with Dokan so we cannot tell how Bookly will work with this plugin.
-- Currently there are no customer profiles. Each client receives email notification after successful booking. They can use a link from the email to cancel the booking.
- Sorry, there is no commission feature available.
- We did not test it with Marketica Theme.
- We did not test it with Userpro plugin.
