1. We have not tested with this plugin so we can not testify to you if those things would work as the way you expect it to be. There are several addons where you can restrict submissions and buying tickets to only loggedin users – which checks for site-wide logged in status.
2. at the moment this is not supported and would have to contact you to cancel events or get refunds
3. You can set basic values for prices and further edit those in woocommerce product edit page.
You mentioned in previous comments that there would be a countdown feature added to this plugin in March maybe? Is there any news on that? Or is there a set release date for that feature?

I like list multiday festival. As festivals has more than one stage that all has their on line ups. It will need;- Sub event
- Sub location
Can this plugin be used for this purrpose?
if not how much customization will it need?

Why not set a calendar PER each Stage, then on each Calendar, just list the events that are at the specific times?
There are up to 5 event types that you can set up however, and you can achieve “sub” categories like you asked.

Certainly, however, you may want to use the RSVP or ticket addon and limit the amount of “spots or tickets” per his times he lists out on the calendar. If not, he will have to manually remove those available times when someone uses his service.

Hi, I am trying to export an event by clicking “Calendar” (same with “Googlecal”) to export an .ICS file. I can save off the file; however when opening it anywhere, there is no description!
Instead, the title is just duplicated in the description field, i.e.:
SUMMARY:Pancake Breakfast DESCRIPTION: Pancake Breakfast
Whereas the DESCRIPTION should be a paragraph with event details, etc which are all intact in the actual post. This is fairly urgent as I didn’t know this was happening until just now, and hopefully there is an easy fix.
(On a side note, is there any way to bulk-export the entire calendar as ICS format? Or do I need to go event-by-event and export each individually?)

You would need to create a custom page template to pull the event details and information into. We do offer a codex for the plugin to pull and piece things together, but currently we aren’t offering any custom development.
I recommend you check out the codex here to see if this will work for your needs and see if you are comfortable with achieving this functionality.

we do not have infinite repeat how ever we def have improved the repeat functionality to repeat on custom terms.
But if i have an event that repeats every Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays forever…... how can i set it if, with your plugin, i can set the maximum that the event is repeated for 100 times?
What could cost to you to make sure that events can be repeated more than 100 times? For example, setting the value to 0, the event will be repeated infinitely. I would be really grateful. By doing this implementation ? Let me happy ?

Hi there, I purchased the Fullcal Addon and recognized something irritating: if you load a page with a full calender the actual day is selected (highlighted) but if you change the month with the jumper or the arrows the same day is highlighted in the selected month. Is it possible to just highlight the actual day and if you switch the month, nothing is highlighted? Thank you!
You can set it to change to the 1st of the month, if you add the snippet to your shortcode:
mo1st=”yes”
We are also going to be adding an update in the future to also load the entire month when jumping month to month.

I don’t see you have responded to my inquiry please do so in the forum: I do hope I am explaining my request correctly as it is confusing even to me on how to use certain functionality with your plugin. I have spent many hours going over the forum, documentation end playing around with the plugin.
My Website caters to Authors who want to schedule virtual book tours with my company. Each user (Author, Book Reviewer and tour-hosts: USERS) Will need there own individual calendar. I was considering using Google calendar but came across your plugin and I really liked the layout and functionality.
1) Authors (Users)
will have access to a protected page that ideally will display there own user calendar generally to view and not to add any events. I need to be able to have the tour hosts and book reviewers submit events to that author calendar. There are 2 ways to possibly do this
1st option is to have one calendar for the Author and have all (tour-hosts and book reviewers : users) submit a form event to the calendar directly.
2nd option is to duplicate that author calendar and put it on another protected page where only tour-hosts and book reviewers are able to view it and directly submit there events through that Author calendar
How do I do this for either option?

How do I create User Calendars?
Can User Calendars have rss feeds to them? If so how?
3) Full Calendar
How do I Insert an Rss Feed Shortcode to the FULL CAL? When I use the shortcode to insert the FULL CAL option I don’t see and Rss Feed option there unless I insert the” Main Calendar” shortcode.
4) Submit Forms
Is there a way I can set up the submit event form to have a drop down of user names (Authors) calendars they can choose from to submit events? If so how can I do this? and if not, What can I do to come close to this option with the plugin?

Pre-Purchase Query: How can I add PDF Files to dates as events. I need to add pdf file links to dates, in a monthly view calendar. Is it possible?
You mean by clicking on a actual day of the grid/month it loads a PDF?
If so, this is not possible at the current time.
Only way to load a PDF inside an event is to load the PDf to your media library, then Link it in a custom meta field, and add it to a button download or URL download individually.

Ok let’s go through these questions one at a time:
1. Tickets does basically what it says it does, sells tickets via WooCommerce system, which is required to also install. The RSVP is more for reserving a spot or seat for a class or seminar, event that is NOT charged up front, and you can collect payment at door, or its not a paid event.
2. I will need to ask Ashan specifically for this feature, i’m not 100% sure.
3. Not sure what you mean by “users” can manage booked events? DO you mean the user signing up for an event, or the “user’ that created the event can manage the event?
4. You can refund payments via PayPal or whichever method of payment portal you set up via WooCommerce. I would check with whichever payment gateway you set up and how long refunds usually take before assuming instant refunds.
5. Yes, the license is transferable, per single use. You would need to deactivate it at the Testing or Development site when you are ready to move, then reactivate it at the new site when launching.
6. There is a Demo on http://codecanyon.net/item/eventon-wordpress-event-calendar-plugin/1211017 located under The features of the plugin, about half way down the page, with username and password as well in the graphic for the test demo.

You can manually update through your FTP, please download the new file from here at Code Canyon and overwrite all the files of the EventON plugin directory via your FTP. The latest version of EventON 2.2.27 will now allow automatic updating via the Wordpress Dashboard.

Thanks for making a good calendar plugin! It’s been a long hunt for a good one. Only one request/question: Is it possible to not show multi-day events after their start date on the Month View?
We have events that span weeks/months, and the registration is closed on the start date, so there’s no need for them to stay on the calendar. Please let me now when you get a chance. Thanks!
You can set the event to only show on the start date, and hide it by selecting the “Hide End Date From Calendar” option as seen here:

And while i’m at it, can the box styling for the event type dropdown be changed? I am using the dark skin and can change the event type sort option dropdown background color in css but can’t see how to change the box styling, at the moment it is sort of a shadow border but in white which doesn’t look great when using the dark theme – just need to tone it down a bit.

Yes, and yes, I did run it, but this does nothing to me. Meaning, it still says I need to activate the plugin in my website. I need the auto updates, so not to be constantly checking for new versions in case of a security hole or what not. Can you help. Thank you.

just the key wont help me solve the issue. anyways the 2.2.27 version is suppose to solve the actiovnation issue and lot of people had success with it.
I see. This is not a small website. We rebuilt it from the ground up, and it still has the same activation problem as when the plugin was purchased in 2013.
I was thinking about removing the plugin and installing again, would that delete the events and other information? What would I lose doing that? Well, I don’t think that will fix the issue anyway.
What else can I try?
You can “overwrite” the plugin directory with the latest version, but I would not recommend uninstalling it completely.
Even though your settings are saved via the database, it could still cause issues with your existing events, posts and style changes you might have made.
Always backup…. just in case too no matter what.

hey there ok so i see whats going on you are just showing the cal into that sidebar. You should try to use the fullcal widget instead of trying to throw the calendar in there. Because the calendar adjust based on page width. So best option is to use fullcal widget.
If you are using the full calendar and this is NOT a widgetized area, you will need to do some heavy CSS editing. That is a very narrow (168px) width area, which is almost half of a 320px iphone width display. if you need help, please join our forum and I can assist you with the CSS needed. http://support.ashanjay.com
