Thank you for your quick reply. I’m still not able to see it (I’m using safari and I’m seeing a big white screen). I also tried viewing it on Google Chrome and there I actually see the map but only a very tiny segment (I think it’s something like 700×100 px) not sure why it does that. I’ve tested your website on Chrome, Mozilla & Safari and the map is visible. In my opinion, the reason that the map has not the correct height is that maybe you printed the shortcode inside an HTML tag. For example:<p></p>Please edit your map page, check your TEXT Editor (not the Visual Editor) and make sure that the shortcode is not inside an HTML tag then try again.

First of all, I love the plugin so far and am EXTREMELY appreciative of the support you so kindly provided me with several months ago, when you helped me set up my homepage map (www.sethbocknek.com). However, I am currently at a loss for how to proceed with my current situation.
While ProgressMap served the exact need that I had for my simple homepage map (I absolutely love the look of the map there…it’s simply perfect), it looks as though I am going to want to expand the plugin’s use beyond that one map: I am now trying to build a blog post to help foreigners find apartments in Beijing. On this new blog post, I’m looking to have a map that outlines a bunch of different apartment complexes within a key neighbourhood of Beijing…and I think that ProgressMap would be PERFECT for this. Heck, it seems that something like this is more what the plugin was created for…compared to my current homepage map, which barely uses any of the plugin’s features.
So, my question is.. how do I go about creating a second map completely independent from the first one, so that I can make use of the plugin’s great features and ability to beautifully display multiple key landmarks on one map?

Thank you for the awesome plugin. It is very easy to modify and to override values. I had my idea up and running in a day.
Saying that I’m a bit worried about performances.

3. Initialising the plugin takes around 1-3s, and blocks everything on my website instead of async or something.
4. Option to hover on desktop, and click on mobile. Instead of both click for infobox.
5. I removed all other scripts from this page . So its only your plugin which is active.

Thanks for getting back at me. The filter is not fixed yet, I just disabled it for now.
The custom added CSS is completely removed now from all the pages. The map is not displaying anymore.

Hi,
Please go to Troubleshooting & configs => Method of loading scripts & styles, select the option Load files on entire site and try again. If the map is working fine, please make sure to provide the correct page ID in the field Troubleshooting & configs => Page IDs.

Hi. Loving this plugin. 2 questions:
1. The carousel items are truncating text with a ”...” even after I increased the description length to 500 in the settings. Visually there is lots of room left for the extra characters that are missing.
2. Is it possible to set the map’s pins to not be clickable? Currently, if I click on a pin, it loads a post for that pin in a separate page. I don’t want viewers to be able to open these posts.

1. From the screenshot, i can see that you have spaces. Please note that empty spaces counts. So use a higher value instead of 500 until you get satisfied with the result.

Hi, We are facing an issue where the infoboxes appear at different coordinates than the pinpoints.

Please note that this is an issue in Google Map itself and it’s complicated to fix. Meanwhile, please set the Map settings => Min-zoom to the highest possible value (e.g. 3 to 5).

The loading speed of the map & the carousel depends also on your server capabilities. I suggest you also to use the Clustering option available in the plugin.

Hello, Great plugin! I satisfies my requirements perfectly. I am in the process of buying this plugin but before completing the process I have a query.
I will be using this plugin for displaying job vacancies via map. Now my question is I want to connect Job posting section with this as you can understand that the plugin will display only those jobs which will have vacancies. So as per the plugin description I will have to use another plugin for posting jobs on my site.
So please let me know whether this plugin will be compatible with any job manager plugins or not. Or is there any such plugin which you can suggest me.

Please note that the plugin can work with any custom post type. So, if your job manager is a custom post type, definitely, the plugin will work with it.

- To set two maps with different markers & initial zoom, please use this example:
[codespacing_progress_map post_type="post" zoom="12"]
To display different markers on each map, you need to change the value of the attribute post_type.
You can find more about the attributes at http://www.codespacing.com/progress-map-shortcodes/
Unfortunately for the layout height, you can only use one type for all maps. The only possible way to do that is by using a custom PHP function in your theme’s functions.php file that will override the default layout height for certain map. If you’re comfortable with that option, please let me know and i’ll send you the solution.

Yes you can use this plugin but please note that the carousel is the only way to display your listings, there’s no Grid & List views in this plugin.

Hi codespacing, first of all i’m really amazed about the support you offer, i bought the plugin hoping that will suit my needs, it offers some, better than others, but sadly the filtering system/carousel is limited so i will have to implement something custom. Please tell me that I cam configure the map to display pinpoints dynamicaly. Ex: On the right side of the site i will generate a list of cpt’s with a location (long/lat ) – i need all the locations in the left to appear on the map on the right side also. Ideally it will have to refresh on ajax call.

When the map is created, one marker shows up. This is the anchor point or the center map I’ve created in Map Settings. If I create one post, for instance, other marker shows up. I’d like to show up just the post markers.
