it’s possible by adding few lines of code by wordpress conditional check wp_is_mobile(). But i’m not sure what you want to display instead of the slider

Lots of people are complaining about issues—that should work out of the box without trouble… OR at least post a HELP section with various solutions. I posted a ticket – yet there are no solutions posted.
So this is warning to anyone else thinking of purchasing this addon—it’s a 50/50 crap-shoot if it will work without support. ARG!
Hi Raydianze, the plugin works “Out of the box” but when your theme developer modifies heavily Visual Composer (like in your case with the 7 theme) there is no way for me to overwrite this changes. As i said few times before here in the comments the error message is the same but the reason causing this are different and depends on the theme/visual composer modifications from the theme author. There is no single fix. I have replayed to your ticket with fix

I have been trying to figure out why the header issue comes up. When i install the plugin it creates a folder under the plugins called “ab_ct_amy_slider1”. When i remove the “1” at the end the header issue disappears but it still does not show up under the VC panel for me to use it. Any thoughts why it is doing this?

Maybe the best idea would be is to give the instructions as to how a person can fix the problem they have after the plugin is installed and it does not show up.

As for the plugin not having a valid header, I ran into that problem, and instead uploaded it via FTP and then activated it which seems to work fine except i cannot find it anywhere, but not header issue.
I submitted a support last week and still waiting for a solution.

I’m with wordpress 4.1 Visual composer 4.4.2 I know how to use visual composer and i’ve worked with other plugins for visual composer, but a i cant find an amy slider module or how to put it in page. As of right now it just shows that its a plugin on my wordpress dashboard …. please help ASAP

Hi missfortune, the queried posts must have featured images in order to be displayed. Just make sure that you have selected featured images

I have a problem. I am trying to alter the slide thumbnail image sizes but whatever pixel dimensions I enter through the slider edit panel it makes no difference. I currently have the image size set to 902×566, on screen the images have a dimension of 471×275px.

Hi barrow, i’m glad that you like it. Slider slides have fixed width due to it’s nature and the why how it works. If you want to use bigger images you should change several css styles
Hi. Thanks for the prompt reply. I altered the slide image sizes as you suggested with css but I’ve now got a problem with overlapping. The images underneath are showing through the main image and I can’t work out where to amend the code.
I’m imagining it’s something to do with the svg viewBox?
Any suggestions with this problem?

Hi barrow, Your case is not actually support but custom work which is related with browser bug and your theme(which will take me a lot of time to debug). I’m sorry i’ll look in to it again soon but keep in mind that there are support tickets with general problems that have higher priority.
I would have to disagree. The fact that all I wanted to do was increase the size of the images didn’t seem that much of a request for a plugin. I would have thought this was a requirement of a slider plugin. It just isn’t as adaptable as it first seems.

Can I put a custom URL for images within the slider? Like in this example http://themes.cray.bg/amyslider/slider-style-three/ , is it possible to set an external link when clicking on the image?

Hi youarenature, thank you. Yes you can change buttons links to custom urls but the images are not clickable

Some of the slider styles can’t have clickable img due to their design nature. But i’ll add more styles. I have lots of ideas for improvements and new features.

Great plugin. How did you go about creating the 6 static images with the mouse over? I have tried making 3 columns in visual composer then make an amy slider in each column, but they just keep going down to each line. So I’m stumped.
