After purchase user has to click to return to site before redirect to ecard form executes. I read earlier post to set permalink to post name. However that seems to be set on my options. How do i get an auto redirect to form after purchase?

That is a PayPal feature, and it redirects after 10 seconds. It can be changed from PayPal options, I think.

If you organize your site using categories and pages and posts, then yes, it’s possible.

Hi, I bought the ecard script today and got it working in a minute.
However, there’s one (critical) issue I can’t seem to fix. When I activate ReCaptcha (works) no cards are sent anymore (and the sender is not redirected to the set page).
I tried it also on your demo site http://getbutterfly.com/ecards/ and it looks like you have the same issue there: I do not get any card sent from there.
Maybe there are changes with ReCaptcha you need to look into? Anyway, without this feature I cannot use the script on our public site.

Hi, did you try your spam/junk folder? My demo works for me, and sometimes the emails end up in spam, so I suppose it’s the same for you.

Just bought the plugin, awesome work! I do have one question: is there a way to select the E-card by clicking on the image (eCard), as well as the radio button? When you click on an image, it will re-direct to the image source, rather then selecting the card.

Hi Tom, sorry for the delay. The behaviour is intended, as one might want to see the larger image.
I will, however, add an option to switch between clickable image and clickable radio button and make it disabled. I will update it by Wednesday.

Hi, you need to update your PHP version. Ask your hosting server, you need a version higher than 5.2.
I have 5.2.17 on server , is not enough?
5.2 is deprecated and it poses security risks. You should upgrade to at least 5.4.

You did not attach an image or the attached image is set as featured. Add another image, separate from your featured image or attach an image to your post/page.

Yes, you need to have 2 images in order for the eCard to work.
seriously? why? The plugin used to recognize one image in the post, now it has to be two…seems center-intuitive…So I need to go in and edit each post and double up on the image i want to use as an ecard?
Because the featured image could be different from the eCard one, and this happens in 80% of the cases, based on feedback and feature requests. Hence my decision.

...ok..just so I’m not confused here..what I have to do is double up on the images in the ecard post?...so when someone lands on the page/post they see two of the same images(ecards)?
Usually, the featured image is not visible on the actual post/page (it depends on the theme). The eCard image will be available as a smaller image with a check box to select it.
You could also place all your eCards on one page and they will have a checkbox next to each other (just like in my demo) and you will save a click.
Also, I don’t support older versions.
Im willing to use an older version of the plugin that allows one image…regardless of support. Would you know which version would? It seems hard to believe that more people want two of the same images showing just in order for this to work, thanks for your help so far
Actually, less and less themes show the featured image on the page itself. The featured image is meant for category views, archive views or index views. I don’t know which old version has that option, but you won’t be able to use it unless you downgrade your WordPress installation. Isn’t there a way to hide the featured image on the eCard pages?
I use the Featured Image option so a thumbnail shows in the category…not on the page. I insert the ecard image into the post/page. For my method they are totally separate things. I will test out removing the featured image and see how it works.

You need to set up your permalinks. Go to Settings -> Permalinks and select the “post name” option.

There’s something wrong there, your “1 Bale” page seems to be 301 redirected. Do you have any other plugins active? Something cache related or any redirections?
yours is the only active plugin – do you have an email address I can email you login details to see if you can see anything?

Hopefully last question – I set price to 0.01 for testing on plugins page, but now need to set each page to a different price (£4, £8, £12, etc) but I can’t seem to set the price per page using paypal amount=4[/paypal] – it just seems to take the value in the plugins page for everything?

When using Paypal, it takes payment and then directs me back to the page, but there is nothing on the page to fill in to send the eCard – just the pay by paypal button still there. Can you help? Quick follow up question. I would like to use this plugin to send out certificates that represent buying bales of hay. Is there anyway I can price each card (certificate) separately? (i.e, 1 bale of hay £4 – 2 bales of hay £8, etc) and have them on the same page? Thanks
I’m glad it works now. You should have filled in all information.
You can price each card separately only if they’re on separate pages. You can create a parent page or a parent category and link them all from there.
I am struggling to understand how to use your plugin. I have installed it and added photos and the shortcode to my page but it’ not allowing me to do anything. Your document is very vague, “Adding eCards to a post or a page is accomplished by uploading one or more images for [ecard] shortcode.” The plugin is not finding the photos on the page. It also doesn’t send the email.

The new version – 2.7.1 – is out, it should be live tomorrow morning. You can fix the spam problem by creating a dedicated email address and adding it to your plugin’s Email Options. Also, make sure your server is not blacklisted.

Just purchased and installed the plugin. It works fine, except that the image doesn’t show up in the email client. I’ve tested in both Outlook and Gmail. http://www.christmasatredeemer.comMy site is hosted at Rackspace and I am using the wp-mail-smtp plugin for sending.
I am at a lost, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have received the eCard from your site. Try the spam/junk folders, sometimes eCards will end up there.
FYI – I updated the wp-config file define(‘WP_CONTENT_URL’, ‘http://www.christmasatredeemer.com/wp-content'); The reason I wasn’t seeing the image in the email was because the path was relative. Thanks for checking on this for me though.
This is weird, and it’s probably caused by a faulty server configuration. Cheers, anyway.
Just in case someone is having issues with the images not attaching.
I installed Plugin Organizer and disabled plugins until the images showed up.
