And i have to add in two website its possible??

You will need two licenses to use the plugin for two sites.

this plugin will convert all links?

Hi

Yes it will but only all links within the post not on the page.

Hi KBRmedia. I really like your script … but :( I can not afford it what I should do to get it for free :) Thanks!

Unfortunately that is not possible. However you can use the API to do this. I have a couple of tutorials on my blog http://gempixel.com/blog

Was this meant to work with your PHP version? Can I call the PHP version from one of my websites? I have primary sites with short URL’s and want to use them in tandem.

Thanks…

Hi

So if I understand correctly, you want to associate one short domain (Premium URL shortener installed) with one long domain (WP). If that is the case yes that is possible. However you have to be careful with license. Since you are using it on three different domains (and I assume you don’t want to use the multiple domains feature) you will three licenses for the main script and three for the plugin. Make sure to first read what the plugin is capable of before buying. If you want to simply shorten the post URL then that is possible but you will need to use the built-in function to output the URL.

Since you are using it on three different domains

Not sure what you mean. How is this ‘Three’ licenses? What I described is two separate domain’s. One with PHP and the other with WP Plugin so I’m not sure how this creates a licensing problem. That’s two domains and two licenses.

Hi

Sorry that was just an example since you said you had several domains.

Where is the pus_plugin.zip

Hi

Simply upload what you download from codecanyon and that is it. You can rename it to pus_plugin if you want but it is not necessary.

Hello, I have a wordpress blog like bbb.co And I want to use my main domain for shortener url too Can I? How?

in same time I need blog and I need shortener in one domain. Possible? Any solution?

Good to heard that. Now I have bbb.vv with wordpress and link.bbb.vv with your script. Tell me how to use bbb.vv for shortener ?

I mean how to generate a short link like bbb.vv/jsb

Hi

Can you please send me an email or open a ticket at http://support.gempixel.com so I can assist you better?

hi Josh, any news on that update that would short automaticly all external urls on posts?

Hello

I have it done locally but I did not have the time to upload it.

Thank you for your update

I’m absolutely interested in buying this. I already have my own domain I’ll use for the shortener site. Do i need to enable https for the areas where people log on? and keep the areas that are open to search engines as http?

Hi

Are you taking about the WP plugin or the main script?

sry the main script. commented on the wrong product of yours. i’ll repost on that one

I purchased this WP plugin and I am little confused. First where is the api that I am to enter? Does this work on it’s own?

Hello,

This plugin is complementary to the main script meaning that it needs the main script to be installed for this to work. The main script is sold separately via http://gempixel.com/buy/short

Josh

1) Does your plugin create short links for my wordpress posts based on my own short url? Because you don’t actually say that anywhere. All I see is that this plugin, and the PHP script you sell, allow you to create a URL shortener service like Bitly.

2) If it does create short URLs based on my own customer URL, will these customer URLs be in the Wordpress database so that I can use them as the link included in “share this” buttons. (I use JetPack for wordrpess which allows my to use their own ‘share this’ buttons). Will it work with this? Will the customer URLs replace Wordpress short URLS?

Thank you

Hello

1. This plugin uses the main script’s API and provides some tools to use your own url shortener. You are able to shorten any links right from the WP interface without the need of going to your main site. Also all URLs you create using this plugin get saved in the main script so you can access them whenever your want.

2. This plugin is dependent and works along side the main script which is sold separately. The plugin will not work if the the main script is not installed or set up. So for this reason the link will not be saved on WP’s side. However you can still link to them using shortcodes. If you are using Jetpack then this will not override the wp.me domain because that is hard coded. But you can use both along side each other.

Josh

Wow, I had a lot of typos in my original comment. Sorry about that.

I still didn’t get an answer to my question. Will this plugin, and the other script it works on, let me create short URLs for my blog posts based on my custom URL. For example, instead of WordPress’s ugly short urls can I automatically have nice shortened urls baed on my own custom url, and the blog title post. For example shrturl.li/blog-post-title

I’m looking for a way to have wordpress shorten my blog post urls using my own custom domain. I want to also be able to customize it.

Thanks.

Hi

Yes. If you install the main script at shrturl.li then you will be able to use that domain. The wordpress plugin is simply a bridge to the main script’s API.

Josh

I would love to launch my URL shortener on its own URL appart from my blog. Basically i would love to have it similar to the PHP script you offer but based on WordPress so I could add other plugins etc.

Is that possible if I buy script and plugin? Also I’d like to know if I can use my own short URL to do it and If you include different looking themes.

Thanks a lot

Hi,

It is possible however you will only get a small fraction of all of the features available in the main script. The plugin provides you some tools to add url shortening capability to your wp blog but it is dependant on the main script. If you use both you will be able to provide same basic features (shorten url + custom alias only) so technically you can do this.

Yes you can use your short domain but you will need to install the main script on that domain. And you can use any wp theme you want because the plugin uses shortcodes and widgets.

If you have any have any question, let me know.

Is it possible to modify this plugin in a way that other users could install it to use my url shortener? This way I could market my shortener better

Hi

Yes that is possible. You just need to pre-define some variables.

Josh

Does this create an account for new Wordpress users? Will they be able to track their clicks stats individually?

Thanks!

Hi,

No, this simply uses the API of the main script (http://codecanyon.net/item/premium-url-shortener/3688135 ) to give you or your users the ability to shorten URLs in a series of ways. However they can track clicks by simply adding a plus sign after the short URL but this needs the main script to be installed and ready to use.

Josh

If i get it right, it replaces the WP.me link shortner to mine using your premium url shortner? And all out links in post?

Hi

It doesn’t explicitly replace wp.me however it offers a series of tools to use your own shortener instead. For example you can use shortcodes to shorten urls or even output a shortener form in your post/page to allow your users to shorten URLs. There is also a shortener form in the admin post page where you can shorten URLs and use it.

Josh

It would be nice to replace the wp.me shortner. Maybe in future

Hi

It might not technically be possible to replace wp.me because it is a plugin however I can add some options to simulate the same features.

Josh

Hi, I have just have an issue with API. The provided API won’t work if the given URL has a “&” inside it. Is there any way can fix this small issue? Thanks. Solomon

Hi

The URL needs to be urlencoded. For example, the ampersand & needs to be replaced by %26. To do this automatically, in PHP you can use the function urlencode() and in JS you can use encodeURIComponent().

Josh

Hi there :)

I’ve bought your plugin but it’s breaking my site ! I don’t know if it is a theme conflict but since I have activated the plugin I have a lot of display errors.

The theme is Sahifa (on ThemeForest), and my website is Blizzheart.com

Now your plugin is desactivated because I can’t let visitors see this.

Different errors I had are mostly “reductions” in size. The main content was reduced (from 1045px to 997px), avatars of people in the comments were reduced, also thumbnails. Social sharing buttons were shifted, etc… All this having just activated the plugin!

Hi !

Thx a lot for your great reactivity ! Don’t worry I’ll wait for update :-)

Your code works perfectly :-) great support, great plugin, I give you five stars !

Thanks for the feedback :)

Hi, is there a php script which show the shortened urls for that page, so I can add it in the theme files?

Hi,

Currently there is not but I am going to release an update today that will add that function. If you want it early, please send me an email.

Josh

Thanks for your fast answer :) Will rate the product and will shoot you an email :)!

Hi,

Josh

Hey,

Thanks for the feedback :)

Hi, this plugin can auto short external or internal link? Thanks.. Before, i bookmark it… :D

How about post or page links?

Hi,

For the link in posts or pages, you can either use a shortcode or instantaneously shorten the link using a form within the add post/page section. I will add an option to automatically shorten all links in a post in an update.

Josh

Ok, i wait for next update.. Good luck with sales my firend… :D
