It does generate thumbnails however when the URL is in queue it will show up a black image while it is capturing the webpage.

The support platform is not working today for some reason so I will tell you what is going on here. There seems to be a problem with your server and it seems to be related to sessions. I have noticed a couple of anomalies in your installation. Can you please contact your webhost and tell them to check out the php session configuration because there might be an issue with it?

please check again in your hosting version in your server is this feature working or not. this is not configuration problem…. becoz iam using cloudflare so there is a delay in login ( it uses cookies )

I found the problem, the google recaptcha in whole script was loaded, turn it off and it works.
the logo is misaligned on the login or registration. What should I do to make it right?

Glad that you have fixed the first issue. When you enable Recaptcha you need to make sure to enter the proper keys otherwise recaptcha has a bad habit of stop execution of the script.
Well you need to change the size of the logo or you can play with the CSS section .centered .site_logo img

Yes. All you have to do is to enable private mode via the admin panel and that is it. Only registered users are able to use the site and only the admin can create accounts.
