in old version script have option to enter time(sec) to redirect original link but now it work instantly .Is there any option or core file i can edit actually i want enter pop up code so when user enter url before redirect its show pop up

I believe you are referring to the splash page? If so then you can still do the same thing. Go to the admin panel to set the redirection time then choose Splash when you shorten a url or set it as default via the admin panel.

Email contents are hard-coded within the core files. In your case open includes/User.class.php and find $mail[“message”] throughout the script to change the content. However be careful as it can easily generate a fatal error.

That is either because you are using Google Analytics or the none as the tracking system. In Google Analytics’ case you will need to set up your site. The instructions are in the documentation. However if you need accurate data then you will need to use system tracking.

It seems like you added something that caused a fatal error. What you can do is to go to includes/languages/es.php and remove that file (or download it to your PC and delete it). You can also send me that file so I can check it for errors.

I’m going to finally bring my paid service for my main business, over to your script… I need to import the urls though, is there a function on the script to do this or is it more manual?
If I had, short url + long url + click count…. can all 3 of this be imported? If not, is there a way to do this manually, i would hope not to lose the click count if possible.. i cant wait to switch my main url site to your script, im TIRED of the one im paying for its ugly and its stats page has been broken for over 1 year…

The easiest way would be to import it via phpmyadmin. You can send me your .sql file via email or support portal and I can format it for you then send it back so you can import it. I would just need the short url, long url and date. The click count would be obviously reset to 0.

When I try to shorten a Facebook URL , no OG data will come through.
Facebook does not allow Facebook URLS to be scraped by Facebook Linter tool… so I feel this is the cause.
I’m curious your input on this, and, if this is simply facebooks fault, I’d like to know if you could consider looking in to a way around this.
When I post a facebook post, containing an image, I would like to shorten the link to that post… so i can hare the link on other Facebook accounts, but right now… no image is pulled when I share on a facebook account because the target url is a facebook.com url and I believe facebook causes this to not work properly…. but any way to get around this would be ideal.

I would say that is true. Most content on FB is protected meaning that you will need to login before you can see it. FB has a bad habit of restricting almost everything on its portal so I would say that is caused by FB rather than the script.

It is quite easy to add RTL support. I have seen a couple of buyers do it by themselves. I have not yet started to work on the script because I need to do a couple of personal stuff. However I will try to start to work on the update from next week.

That is because you did not activate advanced tracking. This can be done via the advanced tracking tab on the admin panel.
Oh I see.. why is there not an option for both? Google would be advanced details and system would be for quick stats.. how can i do both?

You can use both. Select system tracking then add your GA ID right below. The script will track data using the system and will also inject the GA code.

Simply enter your GA Account ID via the admin panel and the script will inject the GA code on every page.
Media Pages is not working. When I paste a short URL on my Facebook, no preview images come.. from YouTube or anything else.. very sad..

You will need to enable it via the user’s settings page. As of now no one else has reported this issue.
If you are using the direct method then FB will directly fetch the content from the target site however if you use a splash page then the script will generate that data.
I am using Direct Method, also in user settings. http://tooleg.it/f1qXf It works when I use a splash page, but not when its direct.

If you use direct method then it will depend on the target site. In this case FB bots crawl directly the target sites so if they contain the meta tags then it will show up otherwise it will not.

I found the issue. You are using Google Analytics as the tracking method. In this case when you use direct method the meta data will not show up. You will need to use system tracking.
Ok I see, when I changed to system, Facebook now pulls og: data… will you confirm this being fixed in next update? I feel OG data should be available, always under any configuration as this is very standard.

This is not a bug. It is just how you can track data using Google Analytics method. If that method is selected you will need to quickly go through a transitional page so Google can gather data then the user will be redirected.

If you want to change the message then you will have to dig into core files like User.class.php. I can’t give you the exact line because I don’t know the message you want to modify. You can open a ticket or send me an email with more info.

Btw i have a question, How can i make the stats appear to myself and not accessible to public while adding the + sign at the end.
Btw i tried making it private in the dashboard but it still shows the stats when i try acessing via proxy and friends pc.
P.S. Hoping to buy this and using it for my personal domains Currently i’m paying $1 a month to access all the features.

Yes. You can definitely make the stats private. This can be done by making the URL private via the user panel. This feature is however is only available to registered users.
