Are there any known conflicts with Gravity Forms plugin? I’m having issues with emails coming through and our contact forms with Gravity. Thanks!

There are no known conflicts.

Hi there I have just purchased this plugin for a client but for some reason I am not getting the required email notifications. It does state sending was successful but up to now I have tried several email addresses but all to no avail.

How long does it take for the emails?

Hi there I am still having the same issue with this plugin. Not once have I received an ecard, spam folder/inbox nowhere. I have just updated to 2.2 and still not receiving ecards, at all. My client is getting agitated now because it’s been over 2 months since I purchased this?

Any suggestion?

Regards.

Yes tried in free mode. Not tried disabling other plugins yet because there are to many right now. I do have plans after xmas for reducing the number that are on this site but right now I haven’t.

Try contacting the server admin to read the mail error logs. There’s something wrong there, as most of the “email not sending” issues are 5% of all issues here, and they are mostly related to sendmail, SMTP or other server mail() misconfigurations.

You should also try to disable all other plugins.

How can I influence a display order of eCard images?

You can’t right now, they are ordered by ID. What order would you like? I can add an option for this.

Is there a chance to change IDs of pictures in a database as a workaround?

In a perfect case I would like to see a TileList kind of control which would allow me to organize pictures simply but dragging & dropping them.

Example control: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/tilelist/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx

Pre-purchase question: Is there any way to track the number of ecards sent by users?

Right now there’s only a counter. Next version will bring a basic statistics panel.

I have more then 150 pictures need to upload. As there are lots of images I need to add pagination. Could anyone tell me how to add pagination so I could display 25/30 images on each page.

Thanks

You may need a different plugin to paginate the images. I’ll probably look for one later today.

Hi, I see that wp ecards is a top selling app in your portfolio. Why not go further and add some advanced options to this plugin or create another one with more options and rise the price. Options to add are many, like support flash cards, add a stats page of sent cards in the admin dashboard, etc…

The statistics page is planned for a future version, indeed. Regarding Flash cards, not sure I want to support them due to Flash being deprecated and unsupported.

Hi, how can I localize the plugin? Is Czech translation available? If not, how can I translate it? Thanks.

sent by e-mail

Got them! I’ll update the plugin this weekend.

What weekend? There are still a few weekends left in my life. Your support sucks!

Hi, I wanna use reCaptcha on the postcard page so I gave it a try and it works fine. My question is how to localize reCaptcha (Czech) and how to change reCaptcha ‘theme_name’ to ‘blackglass’. Thanks!

I don’t know about this, try searching on the reCaptcha website.

No problem to do it on a standard website https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/customization but the question is how to do it in your theme.

The latest version of another plugin of mine just got an option to select a reCaptcha theme (there are four of them – “red”, “white”, “clean” and “blackglass”). I will add the same option to eCards.

Hello. Is this tested plugin tested and compatible with WordPress 3.6.x? Thanks!

Yes, it is. It’s tested up to 3.7-beta2.

Hi, I’ve just purchased your plugin.

Issues: - It is extremely ugly so I guess something is wrong, it definitely does not look like on your screenshot (dark skin). I use Ikebana WP theme. http://themeforest.net/item/ikebana-masonry-wordpress-portfolio-theme/5295994

- It does not work. Textboxes do not accept any text, clicking anything just re-loads a page. Uploaded images are not selectable (no radio buttons).

So basically whole page is corrupted. Any suggestions? Thanks! Rado

Sounds correct, there must be something wrong. I’ll probably check it later tonight or tomorrow morning, but I’ll definitely get it fixed.

1. First of all, your theme hides the input checkboxes using display:none, I don’t know why.

2. Second, all your pages have an overlayed link, so there must be something wrong with the theme. Please ask their support and show them your pages and show them what I said.

Fixed by theme author, thanks for suggestions.

I just bought the product. You say that there is a template email. But I can not find the files. I need to put the message ({Sender’s message}) on the picture ({Sender’s eCard image}). Help me pls

You want to add the text to the image? Like a watermark? You can’t do that. Also, there are no files, what exactly do you mean? The email template just shows you how the email will look, that’s all.

Hello I bought the plugin, as I post more ‘postcards page created with the shorthcode Ecards. thanks for the help

You’re welcome! Don’t forget to rate it!

I just updated to the newest version. I notice the link in the emails goes to the attachment…NOT the post.. can we set it to go to the post? or another page?

Thanks

Is it possible to add categories to this?

You should add categories to the posts you’re using eCards, from the Posts -> Categories. It’s easier like this.

Are you able to change the font of the eCard message text when it comes through in the email?

Any help??? Please.

No, you are not. Usually mail readers use standard web fonts, such as Helvetica, Arial or Georgia.

I just came across this plugin and it looks great. I am thinking about buying it and adding to my site. My question is – can my site users create their own e-cards and mail them out to whoever they want? If so, do they have to mail the e-cards out one at a time or can they do it in batch? Just want to be clear.

Thanks.

Hi. Users can upload eCards (images or photos) and send them to one or multiple email addresses. So, everything you need is possible. Cheers!

Hi there. I have the [ecard_counter] all figured out, but is there a way to track how many times each individual card is sent? This would be good so that I can tell which ones are the most popular.

No, there is no such possibility right now, although it’s a good idea. I’m not using a separate database for the plugin, I’m keeping it simple. I’ll think of a way to add a module/plugin/addon to eCards for better statistics. Thank you.

How do I make the “eCard sent successfully!” message much larger? It seems to be a bit lost…

Thanks Gareth

Hey Gareth. I’m releasing a new version tonight and I will add a CSS class so you can style it inside your main style.css file.

New CSS classes are .ecard-confirmation and .ecard-error. Style them inside your main style.css file.

Hi ~

Just bought and currently trying out this plugin.

How do I alter the size at which:

1 – the image is displayed in the email
2 – the image is displayed on the landing page when recipient clicks on the ‘view your card’ link

Thanks,
Gareth

You’re sending the image at 500px, which is better for email clients. I can’t check it on your site because I’m not receiving it, neither in my inbox, nor in my spam folder.

> “I can’t check it on your site because I’m not receiving it, neither in my inbox, nor in my spam folder.”

That’s really strange – I’ve been sending tests successfully… Any ideas?

Probably I have a lazier email. I’ll just wait. Contact me via email (getbutterfly [at] gmail [dot] com) so I can help you fix everything you need.

My head is aching. How do i upload images ? or where? I might have missed it in the instruction but I’ve read it over and over.

here is where I added it http://tinyurl.com/pvsexgm

thanks heaps!

Hi there! You need to upload images to you eCard post/page. That is all. Upload images by using the “Add Media” button and dragging them inside the upload area.
