Great, went ahead and bought it… There’s no built in search form?? I haven’t installed it but from the documentation I read, there seems to be a need for me to create a search form? What are the parameters? What action should I give it. Tell me I’m wrong about that!

Hi,

Yes you need to create your search form to use it with the plugin. The plugin only provide an area where you can add your search form. There is no specific parameters and no specific action, you’re free to use it your way. Create your form somewhere in your site, and enter the full URl to this page in the given field in the plugin.

I am planning to add a search form in the future.

Thank you

Hi would love to buy this, but is there a way for me to use gravity forms to let users add their own listings from the front end? I will buy it tonight if this is possible! Thanks!

Hi, You can use Gravity forms. Thank you

Feature Request: Would it be possible to change the CSS for each category? I’d like to use different title background color and different color marker based on category so by looking at the marker you can visually see the difference quickly.

Also, a method for organizing the carousel. Right now, items are displayed in the order they were posted, which could be fine for linear progression. It would be nice if you could choose (2) alphabetic order or (b) the order dynamically changed depending on where on the map you were looking so that posts that are more centered show up first.

And if you were able to implement the different markers and CSS for different categories, a nice hover/overlay with a legend would be nice. :)

I would love to add all of this but i can’t do this now. For later versions yes. Possible features to add but this will take time. :-)

Hello,

Do you have an example to use as search form?

Greetings, Martijn

Hi,

No i have no example yet, but i can help you to create your own form, just contact me at the email in the documentation.

Thank you

Hi!

How it looks when is used by a mobile browser client? Is it responsive? Thanks.

Hi,

Yes it is responsive, and fit to mobile screen

Thank you

Hi can you please tel me how to ad a photo to a location point ?, now its a black circle.

Thank you.

Hi,

To add a photo to your location, go to your lcoation (post) page and add a featured image.

About markers, i dont think they’re black, i think images are actualy inside, but with a big dimension. What the plugin does is that when you create a new location, the plugin creates two new images and one of this two are assigned to markers (55×55), and as the video preview shows, they fit into the markers. For your case you have already set the location images and you have to update the featured image of your locations so that the plugin will create the images for your markers.

If you need more help, send me an email with your website URl to see if you have issues.

Thank you

I’m interested in this plugin. I saw a couple comments on these features. Will they be implemented in version 2? If so, when will version 2 be released?

1. Full height map (stretches full width and height of browser window).

2. Front end submission. Users can enter a form to submit a post that will be moderated by an admin. (Although Gravity Forms might be able to do this).

3. Will this work with custom post types instead of the default WordPress posts? I’d like to reserve WordPress posts for blog posts only and use a custom post type for map entries. This should probably be added to the plugin already with categories that can be filtered.

Thank you.

Hi,

I sent you an email, please reply ASAP.

Thank you

Thanks for looking into this. Great support!

Thank you

Hi, is possible geolocation mode or detect my position Automatically? thanks!

Hi,

No, there is no geolocation mode.

Thank you

Hello,

I’m using Safari on Macbook and need to look up my address coordinates through Google Maps itself. For some reason the “Search” doesn’t do anything when I enter an address in your module.

Any idea why?

Seems like false alarm. Didn’t work in my test site, but it does work in my live site, so it’s ok. Apologies.

Hi,

I think you have a great plugin. I am keeping an eye on it. However, to be of any use to me I would need the capability of using categories and filters such as price, distance to location, etc. (if custom filters could be created that would be even better ) I will wait until new versions are released. Keep up the good job!

Thank you

Hi,

Yes yes, wait for the new version, i am sure you will like it.

Thank you

Hi, can’t wait to see the demo… If I understand well, locations are kind of post ? Do you plan to test / check your plugin with WPML ? I would love to enhance my actual multilingual map (http://www.riobailefunk.net/mapa-funk/) with such an interface like yours. But it has to work with WPML plugin….. Thanks!

Yes i did, and i’ll add this to the plugin.

Thank you

Wow, this is amazing good news for me. And maybe for you, if you get listed in the blog and compatible plugins list you will fill a need in the WPML community. Can’t wait to have this ready. The main modification I guess will be to have the possibility to have one map page per language. Need to do a wpml-config file too..

hi just purchased. the map seems to be messing up my home page. any suggestions? thanks

Hi,

Can you send me more informations (screenshot or the link of your website) on the email provided in the documentation so i can understand you issue.

Thank you

Hi Codespacing,

Really great plugin!

Our CEO asked me if it would be possible to assign several locations to one item so it’s shown multiple times on the map.

As you know, I used this to present our customers. There are hundreds of customers, but a lot of them are active in multiple countries.

Is this something you might be considering to implement in the future?

Hi,

Your idea seems to be great but actually i don’t think i can add this feature for now, i have lot of work to do to release the next version of the plugin.

I promise you if i found time for this during this month i’ll make it available.

Thank you

Thanks for your kind feedback! It’s really ok if this won’t happen this month.

What is the Shortcode to place the Map into the page?

Hi,

Here is the shortcode [codespacing_progress_map]

You will find this and more on the documentation.

Thank you

what about a demo

Hi,

Can’t provide a demo for now but i am working on it. You can see screenshots and the video preview.

If you need any help, contact me at the address in the documentation.

Thank you

Wow this looks great

My only concern are there seems to be lots of “for web developers” mentioned in the comments.

Would be much cooler if these were just options that a non coder could also benefit from.

;)

Hi,

This plugin is made for non coders more than coders. The only option for web developpers is mentioned all down in the description.

You can control the whole plugin options from the backend and within minumtes even if you don’t know nothing about web developing.

And i assure you that non coders can also benefit from the plugin.

Hi:

Congratulations on the plugin. I wish you luck with sales.

thanks

Thank you

Hi:

Congratulations on the plugin. I wish you luck with sales.

I have a question:

I have a custom post real estate. I have two fields that are latitude and longitude and the other with the address. How I can associate them with fields in the plugin?

thanks

Hi,

All you have to do is to rename your custom fields this way:

Latitude = codespacing_progress_map_lat Longitude = codespacing_progress_map_lng

If you need more informations, please contact me at the address provided in the documentation.

Please don’t forget to rate the plugin if you like it.

Thank you

Not sure if I missed it somewhere, but is there a mention of the changes in the new update?

You said it would be possible to set 100% height in a few days, but I don’t see that option yet. So just curious what’s changed (bug fixes, certain features added, ...?).

Note that the next features will be set for the version 2.0 of the plugin.

Thank you

Ok, thanks for the info. Any ETA?

i can’t promise an exact date but i can tell that i am trying hard to release it this month
