Feature Suggestion: would be great if you could either filter the plugin posts used (a subset – which you said you were working on) OR allow for multiple instances of the map on different pages with different criteria.

EX: while a client of mine has many businesses listed in their main directory, we also wanted to make a ‘pub crawl’ event, with businesses that are not part of the main directory. Would have been great if we could make a new map with just the ‘pub crawl’ flagged businesses.

I hope my example is clear, and looking forward to your reply.

Actually i forgot to mention in the plugin’s description that it is possible to filter posts, but it’s an option that can be achieved by web developpers and by calling the plugin directly into your code.

About your suggestion (Pub crawl), i need more explanations.

Thank you

I’d like to know more about post filtering….

but here’s my pubcrawl (variant) example:

let’s say there’s 100 businesses in the database. (custom post types – ‘artists’)

let’s also say we wanted to do an event where we want people to visit 5 different restaurants, for food sample tasting. But these businesses are not in our main database (they support the arts, but aren’t artists, for example).

I would LOVE to be able to create a new map, point it to a new post type – ‘restaurants’ – and that map on a separate page (the event page) shows only the 5 restaurants.

I hope that’s clear. I’m looking for multiple instances of the map, with different posts and settings for each instance. (and even better, show carousel here, but not on the main map)

Hope that makes more sense.

Like i’ve already said, if you’re a web developper you can do this very easy. All you will need is to create a custom query containing all your parameters and that returns only post ids. Then you will have to pass the query result to the plugin function this way :

do_shortcode(‘[shortcode_name post_ids=”your_ids”]’)

That’s it.

Give me some time to think about the pub crawl.

Every time I add a new post and try to enter the address of the location, when I hit “Search” it centers the map on Pune, India—no matter what I enter for the address.

Please help.

I submitted the contact form on your profile page, please confirm receipt.

Receipt confirmed

Still not fixed.

Could you explain/demo how the search functionality works? Also, are there any plans for geolocation to find listings nearby. Is the carousel touch swipe enabled? BTW, the plugin looks great.

Hi,

The search form in the screenshot 16 doesn’t exist within the plugin. The plugin provide’s an area where you can show your own search form and for that, you have to create your search form in some page within your site, give it a style etc… and create all code the form will need to do when a user click on the send button, then you should enter the full URl of the page containing your search form and the result will be like on the screenshot 16.

This option is specifically for web developpers.

For your second request, yes i am planning to add this feature for V3.

Thank you

Ok, thanks for the explanation

And ready to use with mobiles, unless you dont choose the fixed width.

Your mapping plugin looks pretty good. I have a couple of quick questions.

Each location can hyper-link to the post/post-type/page associated with the location, correct?

Also, are you including Google Rich Snippets (Microdata) at all?

Thank you,

Jay

Hi,

For your first question, yes it’s correct.

For your second question, no there’s not Microdata at all. I think that the plugin doesn’t need Microdata. Why? Well, what the plugin does is to bring the post/post-type/page content and print them in the carousel, and with this, i think it’s up to the author to create content containing Microdata. Am i wrong?

Thank you

Hi, great plugin! So far, everything seems to work great, except for one thing: I can’t seem to find a way to set the height to 100% browser height, like your demo video shows.

It’s set on full width, but sticks at 600px height. I don’t see an option to change that 600px into full height.

Nevermind the blank window link. No idea how it happened before, but it doesn’t seem to refresh the map when I go back, anymore. ;)

In the next release i will add more features including the full customization of the markers infowindow, which is your case. So, until V2 OK :-). If you like the plugin, please don’t forget to give it a RATE.

Thank you

I sure didn’t, already rated 5 stars!! Awesome plugin and great support!

I wish you many sales.

Nevermind, think I’ve found the answer in the details.

No demo for now, just screenshots and a video preview. Thank you

need a demo to see a real performance, before buy..

Unfortunately, i can’t provide a demo for now. I’ll provide it soon. Sorry

is it possible to assign categories and child categories to a listing and then display a choice of categories or sub-categories rather than listings, e.g. like in your screen shot 8?

For now, all you have is to display all listings, but i’am planing to add this option. Thank you

Very interesting plugin. Who enters the listings? Can website submit listings? Please respond soon.

the admin can enter the lestings from the add new post page. The plugin provides a form where you can enter the address of your lcoations (latitude & longitude). This is how your locations will be listed. Thank you

So, there is no way for user to submit listings?

If you mean frontend submition, no user can’t submit listings from frontend. Let me know more about what you want so i can help you.
