Great plugin! Do you plan to provide a feature like in flickr-explore? To be precise: Loading more images automatically when the user hits the bottom of the page. That would be killer since I don’t want to load all images at once, but I also don’t want the user to hit the already provided button.

Yes that is planned, auto infinite scroll.

Infinite scroll is added in today’s update v1.4.9!

Hi, Can you tell me how to change the prettyPhoto theme style from default to something else like for instance the “Facebook” style of prettyPhoto

In the prettyPhoto js settings on the lightboxes tab:

change

theme: ‘pp_default’,

to

theme: ‘facebook’,

Good stuff mate.

Thanks. Please note that the licenses don’t allow resale as part of a stock theme.

i need help please! recently im getting the following error and NO IMAGES are showing

“All of the images have failed to load.

This is most likely a TimThumb permissions error.
Go to the Justified Image Grid settings, TimThumb & CDN tab. Click check permissions then click 0755 or 0777 to see if that works (or do it manually on the files and folders it lists there in case chmod fails).
Also read the troubleshooting guide in the documentation on what else to do.
Tip: If you are loading WP or NextGEN images, then install the official WP plugin 'Jetpack' by Automattic and enable 'Photon'. Jetpack enables you to connect your blog to a WordPress.com account to use the powerful features normally only available to WordPress.com users. It's an excellent TimThumb alternative and will make your images load faster. Note that you won't be able to use special effects due to cross-domain security limitations. It'll also make Justified Image Grid high resolution display or Retina ready by devicepx.js! Read more at: jetpack.me"

WHAT can i do to fix it? the button in “Justified Image Grid settings>> TimThumb >> CDN tab”

“Click here to check permissions to write to the cache folder. This is vital for the plugin to be working correctly.”

DOES NOT do any action when clicking.

Sent you a mail.

Solution: the problem happend from some permissions change from the server side, in order to fix that you should command the following lines into ssh:

# chmod 777 /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/cache
# chmod 777 /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/cache/index.html
# chmod 777 /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/cache/timthumb_cacheLastCleanTime.touch

Thank you ‘Firsh’ for your quick support.

Great!

Hi, I’m trying to get multiple Justified Image galleries on one page to show up correctly when displayed in mobile. Currently, when I insert 3 galleries, only the last in the set actually displays in the default Mobile view with photoswipe. The other two galleries don’t resize to mobile correctly. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Please send me a link. Have you set the first two to photoswipe? Have you set a preset in the first two? If so, set the lightbox to photoswipe in the shortcode on those two, rather than in the global plugin settings.

This plugin looks awesome… Please can I ask. Is it possible to set recent posts to a specific category or tag?

If not, any plans to add in an update?

Thanks

Oh … just a thought … I would be using WooCommerce for a number of travel categories. Is it possible to set the slider to show the products ... guess that would be a custom post type?

Fingers crossed! :o)

Thanks

p.s. I can see from the screenshot there is custom post type drop down .. but would this include WooCommerce products?

If woocommerce adds WP custom post types (my plugin will pick those up) and one of their pictures is added as ‘featured image’, then yes. I haven’t tested this yet though but I think it’ll work.

I’m trying to install the JIG using Flickr. I get this error message: The element is invisible or too thin. Tabs/AJAX sites are unsupported. (Justified Image Grid).

Can you please help?

Most likely, you are being blocked by a Wordpress plugin because you are in a country outside of the US. Which country are you in? Then we’ll unblock it.

Contact me from my profile please.

Hey Firsh. I want to start using this plugin and want this type of setup below slider. http://theoutdoorsocial.com/

Can this be done? Thank you!

No I have rows, this is columns!

Hi there!

Purchased your beautiful plugin and have created an FB app.

I have now connected it to my facebook but the thing is, I want to load the images from an album of a company page I am administrator for.

Now, it only lets me choose from images in my own personal galleries.

How do I get to choose from company fb pages that I am administrator for and have created?

You just need to enter the company facebook page url (the main url to the page, front page) then press enter. You don’t need an app and to add yourself in order to show images from a public FB page :)

Ah, thanks! :-D

Hi there How to I change to font colour of the description on the pop up images? It’s currently white on a white background.

Only noticed yesterday the site got hacked. Massive overhaul had to be done. All good now. Great Plugin. Easy to use and does what it says on the tin. Gave it a big fat 5 stars.

Thank you! You can change the CSS for the captions in the plugin, but not for the lightboxes. For that either use the theme’s custom css or edit the lightbox’s css files in my plugin’s folder.

I cannot get this plugin to work with shareaholic. It worked fine before but then I had some site issues. When this plugin is activated, shareaholic does not show up.

Can someone please help me?

Example page…. http://www.themagicinpixels.com/2013/04/frank-l-baum-author-of-disneys-oz-the-great-and-powerful/

It might be a jQuery conflict. In the plugin settings, general tab, try the different jQuery source options.

I changed the jquery from <<Latest from Google with local fallback to WordPress’ version>> to <<No change, load the one already in use (can be outdated)>> and I do believe that may have fixed the problem. It was jacking up my homepage which had the wp-ajax-grid on it as well. Thanks.

Wasn’t the “No change, load the one already in use” the default?

I cannot for the life of me get the images to load. I am constantly getting

All of the images have failed to load.

The timthumb settings are correct, the error occurs despite the folder permissions.

It can happen, just try Jetpack and enable Photon!

Hello,

Can we get this sorted please. I didnt get a response back about who Im using as a host. Yes to hostgator. Now how do I sort out the timthumb issue?

I have no idea why they block it, other hosts don’t do this. It’s just how it works. Glad it worked out for you! Ratings are available under the downloads page of your account, grey stars for every item purchased but not rated.

5 stars! Im blown away by this. Thank you

Thanks

No ETA yet.

Your request was added.

thanks

When I try and embed the JIG gallery (pulling photo albums from facebook) in a post I get this message: The element is invisible or too thin. Tabs/AJAX sites are unsupported. (Justified Image Grid)

Can you help?!

Can you try adding this CSS:

.qcContainer .one.columns {
    padding: 40px 0 30px !important;
    width: 100% !important;
}

The result might not be desirable but the grid may work. The problem is that the element you are putting the grid into doesn’t have any width set. With a theme modification it’s possible to set 100% width and still have padding, by adding a wrapper element around it.

to be honet I was trying to avoid that as it changes the wrapper on every single page so not ideal for the client when they start creating content themselves. If you can see any other way that would be amazing. For now I have used this and added extra inline styling to the other pages/posts to cancel it out.

It could be changed in the theme that everything remain looking the same, but it’s a change so you’d lose ability to update if it’s a stock theme.

Does this work with an instagram feed? fingerscrossed

Not yet, but that is planned for the next version v1.5

Greetings!

Love the plug-in from what we have seen on screenshots and demo modes. We have bought it and are attempting to:

1) Bring up a gallery from our Facebook Page (ie use the plug-in to retrieve the images from our Facebook Photo Galleries) when we try entering our Facebook Page (by itself) we get a message saying enter page; when we enter the URL of the photostream (we get a message saying no galleries), when we enter the URL of the galleries page (we get a message saying no galleries)! The page in question is www.facebook.com/wsgreece

2) Bring up galleries from our Flickr sets (we have generated the API and SECRET and entered these exactly) but when we try to add using either our account name, profile URL or flickr ID we get no such user found – Error code 0 from Yahoo!

(have screenshots of the errors which can be found https://copy.com/KY88DD6xnyr77aoS)

Would really appreciate some support on getting our issues fixed

Peace

P

Hello Firsh! Thanks for getting back so quickly – am sending you an email NOW ;)

OK “Firsh” the man helped me solve the issue – for future reference, if you are using biz.nf hosting (offer FREE and PAID services) then cURL is shut by default and it will only be open for PAID accounts!

It was a long shot :) Glad to be of help.

Can you please give me some idea how to use your excellent plugin with the Fullscreen Galleria plugin. If I could get your plugin to work with Galleria it would be perfect.

Sorry I don’t know what plugin is that. Can you post a link or something like that?

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fullscreen-galleria/ This is a great gallery plugin. Would complement your plugin very well.

I’m not really sure how as it’s a completely different and complete gallery solution?

Hi there, I’m trying to replace the magnifying glass with my own (transparent png) icon and having no luck. Is there a minimum/maximum icon size? Does it have to be a specific format (jpeg, png, ico etc)? Is it the full url (http://www...) or does it need to relate to the /wp-uploads folder? Other than that – this is a really great plugin! Cheers!

Enter full(absolute) URL, transparent PNG, the size should be smaller than your minimum row height (row height – height deviation).
