Hello, presale question, I tried demo when adding multiple units the drop-down list shows only first 3 units, if let’s say I have more than 10units will show only three units so can’t assign the right unit when adding or editing product . Please check it from your demo admin

Hello Marley,

The dropdown will only show units that are not multiples of others…So, when adding the unit and checking “Add as multiple of other unit,” that unit will not be displayed in the units dropdown.

The problem I see is that example there are five products default unit is based on multiple units in purchases but sell is both single and multiple to assign units is not possible I have to multiple repetitive creation of multiple units instead of just choose from drop down be it multiple or single, please work on it on the next update coz I’m planning to buy but this is only one issue I found it

Are you saying we also need to show units having checked “Add as multiple of other unit,” in the dropdown?

I have a suggestion to help you locate the problem with the sales reports that are displaying slowly.

In the sales report section for one of our clients (who has more than two commercial sites), the reports don’t display when the default information is used and the period is long. However, when we specify the commercial site and the relevant date, the information appears quickly, in less than 10 seconds. The same thing happens in the purchase list section.

- Try checking the default period in your queries; it should be short, this month or 7 days (default).

- Review your SQL queries for sales reports for a client with more than two commercial sites. - The purchase report is slow when there are multiple purchases, more than 200 records.

Yes, we know that if the period is long, then there will be a lot of data that needs to be processed, which takes time. That is creating the problem.

But many times, people need to see the data for a longer period, so we can make the duration but still it should work for a longer duration. In our current release, we have reduced the period to a shorter duration but also made sure it works for a longer duration by optimising the queries.

Good day the search boxes in all the modules example all sales are not searching all fields in columns example sell note. Please to fix as persons build their business around how the system operate. Thanks for the continued support over the years.

For test please do a sell note on a sale and try searching by that term and it will return blank

Hi, I just wanted to ask if this system allows me to enter an ingredient like 1 kg of coffee and automatically calculate how much of that kilo has been consumed. For example, if I tell the system that 1 kg produces 50 cups of coffee, will it track usage and deduct it automatically based on sales?

Yes, this is possible using the manufacturing module of UltimatePOS. What you can do is – create recipes of coffee with all ingredients & quantities of each of them.

With this, when coffee is made, all the ingredient stocks will be deducted from the inventory.

I regret updating to the latest version. The entire app became super slow & totally not usable.

1. Pos item search & add takes almost 5-7 seconds.

2. Sales list view page takes 10-15 seconds

3. Product sales report loading & loading…

HORRIBLE. Latest update loads way too many via the date ranges. We have a few thousand transactions for the month across multiple stores. AND this plugin tries to LOAD ALL THEM! Example on the sell report screen the default range on load is the ENTIRE MONTH! HUGE CPU SPIKES AND SERVER CRASHES!!! MUST BE FIXED!

This configuration is pretty good but change the provider to DigitalOcean. Maybe they’ve this shared vps.

I changed from a shared to vps to pass this bug .Now,We are sure that is caused by you app code .I advice you to check other application and do like them .I have others application for the same business works fine but your application. The problem that I have many customers records and sales and reports so I can’t transfer it to another software. For the new business I can’t choose your software to manage it, I’m sorry,We faced anothers bugs with your app after the last update: the searching function didn’t work ,filter too.how can I manage a thousands transactions now ?
