is it possible to have two different presets? We’re doing a website to purchase magazines and get access via the users account, so would like to have a preset for preview magazines (not download etc) and one for the full magazine (so buttons activated).
This would allow us to save a huge amount of time.
Either through the category or selecting a preset?

Hello, I have a technical question. Is it possible to call pdf-tools programmatically in silent mode? For example, if I will upload pdf inside custom post via acf pro field. I can show uploaded pdf via shortcode. But is it possible to call pdf-tools? If this is not possible. Maybe you can tell me how can I get pdf url from “Flipbooks (r3d)” posts?

Hi, it is not possible to bulk remove specific page from all flipbooks.
You can edit a PDF and remove a page, then use the modified PDF for the flipbook.
Or you can convert PDF flipbook to image flipbook with PDF Tools Addon, then you can remove any page from the flipbook.

Hi! Is there a way to select whether links added to flipbook are to be opened in a new page or in the same page? I see the default setting is that it opens in a new page, but my flipbooks are all embedded and some of the links are meant to be used to scroll down the page. So I wonder if there’s this option I’m not able to find in the settings, or else if it can be considered as an addition to the next update (e.g. like a menu from the Pdf editor view, under the “go to the url”). Thanks so much for your answer! Yeah I had found that option, but in that case it that setting will be applied to all links/flipbooks, whereas what I had in mind was to be able to customise the setting for each link added, like an override of that default setting in the pdf editor view.

I have just moved my website, which was under development, from a subdomain to the main domain. The subdomain is no longer in use, as I have transferred the site from it.
I would like to activate my subscription on the main domain only.
How can I proceed with this, considering that the website previously on the old domain is now the same one on the new main domain?

Hello, cant add any new flipbook. If open new flipbook, it opens the license page by itself. Licenses are correctly entered. Seems that it wants license code for any reason, but the license is set since purchase – stopped working or something.
Updated to latest version, nothing better. Same error.

Just testet an other installation on an other domain. Same trouble, there is an serious error with licensing. Quick help/repair is needed – had to switch to competitor to keep my things online…!

Removing the www prefix from a website shouldn’t kill the license. My catalog-only site has been down for hours because of this, and I can’t even re-enter the license key. Was it really necessary to include the www prefix instead of just linking the license key to the root domain?

We have noticed that the plugin has been updated on January 31, 2026 but when we try to use it on the newest Worpdress 6.9 it is not working properly. Are we missing something or when can we expect the plugin to work with the newest Worpdress Version?

Sorry for the late reply. We’ve tested it again. It’s only half as good under WordPress 6.9.1.
Thumbnails aren’t displayed. There also seem to be problems when placing multiple Real3D shortcodes. For example, if there are four flipbooks on a page and you open the first one, the last one always opens. If you want to close it using the “X”, you have to click it several times because, strangely, they all have to be closed one after the other. I can gladly send you the test page by email. Changelog is always in the download package, but I will update it on item page also.
Would you consider making it the wordpress way?
You can keep the changelog in one central place on wordpress dot org /plugins/real3d-flipbook-lite/#developers
You can include the release date and the version changes like this i.e
Jan 28, 2026 – Version 4.17
• Change 1….
• Change 2…. [PRO]
Then in wp-admin on the plugin list page you can add a “View Details” link like most WordPress have that fetches the changelog from wordpress.
I hope this is possible. It will be the easiest for everyone like this.
Advantage of this it will give information even to your free users of the pro version developments when they view the changelog on their dashboards. Sometimes from changelogs you can spot features that are in the pro version and you think “oh, I want this…”

Possibly you have a PHP limit in number of files that you can upload at once. Edit php.ini and search for line
max_file_uploads = 5
and replace with
max_file_uploads = 100
save and restart server

I use WP version. My Corporate clients don’t use WP. Most corporate organizations such as banks, etc use CMS JS. My focus is on corporate clients using JS version. So, my inquiry is on white label version for JS. Full versions plus all add-ons.

1.- Specifically, when I create a flipbook, I can delete the PDF from the server. I understand that customers can view the flipbook but not download it. Is that correct? My goal is for customers to purchase flipbooks through WooCommerce and be able to view them without downloading or printing.
2. Is this plugin compatible with WPLM or another plugin to create flipbooks in different languages?
3. I’d like to know if any specific add-ons are required to add audio, videos, text, pop-up messages, etc., to the flipbook.
4. Does the AUDIO option involve creating an audio player on the page? I mean, are there pause, play, stop, etc. options?

1. With this plugin and addons, you can create a flipbook from PDF, then convert flipbook to images and JSON, then delete PDF from the server. You can also remove print and download buttons from the toolbar. It is not possible to completely prevent users from printing page by page, they can take screenshots, but original PDF cannot be downloaded.
2 There is no support for automatically translating flipbooks to different languages via WPML, you would need to have a different PDF for each language.

Hello. As I mentioned earlier, I am using the Real 3D FlipBook & PDF Viewer plug-in on two websites.
Since the recent update (4.16.4) of the Real 3D FlipBook & PDF Viewer plug-in, both websites have not seen the flipbook, and it has been returned to the previous version. To be exact, the flipbook appears on a gray background for a very short time (0.5 seconds?) and then disappears, appearing to be a gray blank screen.
It’s the same thing with Firefox, Chrome, and MS Edge in PC Windows 11 environments, and flipbooks are not seen in Samsung S25.
I was wondering if anyone else has any reports of this kind of phenomenon.

Hi, yes, with Google Analytics. Add your GA4 property ID to flipbook settings and you will get custom events from each flipbook.
Did the Page Editor add-on change its experience recently? One of my client websites noticed that the Link tool isn’t the default tool. So now they have to click the Link tool icon every time they want to add a link. They add quite a few links to each Flipbook, so this has increased their production time by quite a bit. Is there a setting that lets us set the Link tool as default until they select a different tool? Thanks!
