It seems this shortcode isn’t mobile-first at all. Not only does the table not fit on the screen, but it also causes the words to stretch vertically. How can I fix this?

I am experiencing an issue with the price display in the frontend of the Car Rental System plugin.

I have set up a per day discount for rentals of at least 3 days. The base daily price of a scooter (for example, Symphony 125) is €45, which becomes €40 for rentals of 3 days or more.

The problem is that the discounted price (€40) is shown as the starting price in the frontend, even before the customer selects the rental dates or duration.

Instead, I would like the full base price (€45) to be displayed initially, and the discount to be applied only when the 3-day condition is actually met.

Is it possible to configure the plugin in this way?

I tried looking in the comments for the insurance point and saw 5-6 years ago it was supposed to be implemented in a v6, the Void deposit if you select the insurance extra.

Has this received any news ? I would like to have the insurance as extra and the deposit to go to 0 if you select it.

Hello, i use TanTum theme and your Car rental system plugin, but it has some errors and issues, i have daily car prices, like 1-4 days 55 euro per day, 5-13 day 50 per day, but when i try to rent a car for example, 14-18 february period from 15:30 to noon time, it says “Renting period 5 days” but price is calculated based on 1-4 days period, 55 * 4, how can i fix this bug?

I recently purchased your Car Rental System plugin and would like to ask a few questions regarding the booking form setup.

Currently, I am using only one location. When I configure the system for a single location, the booking form only displays the location text/value, but there is no label indicating that it is a location field. Because of this, the text above appears misleading, as it looks like plain text rather than a labeled location field.

Additionally, for the date selection, the form only shows the date picker without a clear label (e.g., Pick-up Date / Return Date), which may be confusing for users.

Lastly, regarding the time selection, is it possible to hide or disable the time dropdown entirely? My rental setup is per-day only, and I do not require time-based booking—only date-based selection.

Could you please advise on the best way to handle: - Proper labeling when using a single location - Adding or restoring labels for the date fields - Hiding the time selection for day-based rentals

I asked for some custom works in December 2024, i was given a quotation and asked to pay before the works commenced. I was told the custom works would be delivered in Jan/ Feb 2025. The custom works were never delivered so i asked for my money back and we are in November 2025, despite countless emails he keeps ignoring my emails.

If you are asking for custom works, dont you wont get custom works nor will you get your money back

I’m having some problems with this plugin.

1. I do not see the tab for payment management. I tried to re-upload the plugin but for some reason the tab does not appear. I then tried to ftp up the folder and replace all files of the plugin but that doesnt work either.

2. On the car price page. after you elect the dates etc, The Taxes are not being displayed. Tried everything but still not seeing it

3. On the tax management page after after I save the tax it gives me an error Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

Can I get some help to resolve those issues please?

Environment

Plugin: WP Car Rental System v5.0.2 (bundled)

Site timezone: Europe/Bucharest (Settings → General)

Server/PHP timezone: Europe/Bucharest

1) Hour change adds a full extra day despite hourly settings

Steps to reproduce

Create a booking (example): Pick-up: 05 Oct, 09:00 → Drop-off: 06 Oct, 09:00 → price = 1 day.

Move drop-off to 10:00 (1 extra hour).

Price jumps to 2 full days.

Actual It still charges 2 days.

Time step = 1 hour, Min rental = 1 hour.

After-hours fees disabled. This suggests the bundled v5.0.2 ignores hourly/mixed duration logic.

Request

Please confirm whether the theme-bundled version supports hourly/mixed pricing.

If not, provide a patch or update to a version where hourly/mixed pricing works correctly (v6+), or share a workaround/filter I can apply now.

2) October DST (clock change) corrupts durations & prices

Context In Europe/Bucharest, clocks move back 1 hour on the last Sunday of October (the 03:00 hour repeats). Around this change, prices/durations get miscalculated.

Steps to reproduce

Create a booking that crosses the DST change (Saturday → Sunday, or times within the repeated hour).

Totals and/or availability show +1h / −1h discrepancies, sometimes rounding to an extra full day.

Expected Duration/pricing should be timezone-aware and stable across DST (no unintended extra hour/day).

Actual

Totals are off by ±1 hour or rounded up to another day.

Availability blocks can misalign on that weekend. .

A fix that calculates durations using timezone-aware DateTime (or absolute Unix timestamps) to avoid the repeated hour issue.

Alternatively, guidance or a setting to block/normalize the ambiguous hour on DST day, or a hotfix I can add via filters/actions.

Temporary workarounds I can use (but prefer a fix)

For hourly rounding: manually overriding totals after time edits.

I’m happy to provide admin access, test bookings, or logs to help you reproduce. Please let me know the next steps (patch, updated plugin package compatible with the theme, or code snippet/filters).

How to change email content- in car rental > settings there is no setting to change email content

I need help with email notification. When a booking is made, I don’t receive the confirmation email as the admin, nor the customer receives a confirmation email, are there any settings or tips on how to fix this?

I’ve been trying to update the visual style and order of the Search form, following the guidance provided in the Q&A section.

You mentioned that the HTML file to edit is at: /Extensions/CarRental/Templates/Front/Booking/template.Step1SearchForm.php

and the CSS is at: /Extensions/CarRental/Assets/Front/CSS/style.CrimsonRed.css.

However, I was unable to locate these exact files in the project. It looks like either these files have been renamed, relocated, or replaced without the documentation being updated accordingly.

Because of this, I cannot find the proper HTML and CSS files to modify the form’s layout and appearance as recommended.

Could you please confirm whether these paths are still correct, or provide the updated locations/names of these files?
