What happened to the “THIN VARIATION” of the hamburger? I’ve used this plugin for years and that was one of the main reasons!

In the vertical menus settings, under “Menu & Submenu Items” enable the “Close menu after click” option.

That is correct, each menu style is different and has a different set of options. Close on click isn’t in the image menu settings. Something like that would have to be added as custom work. TapTap works with any theme coded according to WP standards. And demo 9 shows the horizontal menu with added icons, the insertion of which is detailed in the included documentation (we don’t have an online one at this time).

You’re latest update has messed my site with a big black bar at the top (.taptap-header-bg-image).
Now I’d love to pay support if if is something I have messed up and I have no issue with that.
But in the case that its developer that has sent out a messy update then I feel its a bit unfair that we should pay for support access.

Thanks. I updated plugin and my horizontal menu loses the main menu button, and fonts all change. Is there a plugin update that can retain current settings when updating?

Updating settings again fixes a few of these issues. Is there a reason the menu icon does not appear when on Cart page?
Also when updating to new version of plugin, our normal desktop menu appears different. Is there a way to keep my normal menu the same as it is? Not sure why this gets messed up.

Hi.The images in the sub-menu is not a feature, that would have to be added as custom work. But the rest, downwards appearance, vertical dropdown menu, is possible, though TapTap has its own animations.

Hi, I want to use this on a Elementor Header, I know you say “it´s a separate entity” but not quite sure what you mean with that. If there is no shortcode, this just appears over all the pages when activated? I need it on a specific place on the header and just for mobile. Thanks for your detailed answer.

Once you install TapTap, it appears on your website’s header, similarly as you can see it on the demo sites. You can make it show up just on mobile of course, that setting is in the settings’ Misc section.

Hi! Where can I hide the menu item descriptions? There’s no option within “TapTap (Vertical menu)”—> “Menu Item Descriptions”. The class name of the div container is called “taptap-menu-item-description”. I don’t want to make use of the dirty solution and simply hide it via CSS. Thanks!
Hi. The easiest and quickest would be not to add descriptions to the menu items, would that be a solution for you? If you’re using an existing menu then you can just duplicate it and remove the descriptions.

1. Yes, you can change enable/disable any element at will, including the logo, menu button, search etc.
2. Import/export is not included in the plugin but I there are plugins out there that import/export WordPress Customizer settings.

For the mobile everything style, is as i imagined for my website, with the submenu going in the direction of the arrow! For the desktop instead.. is it possible to open the tabs not on the same column, but opening a new column with the submenu?

Sure, you can hide it via some quick CSS:
.taptap-cart-count span { display:none !important; }
