when will the latest version 7.2 be released?

Smart School upcoming update is under development and expected to be released by December 2025 or January 2026.

Will http based sms api use queue method ? Because hitting 3000 sms for student present can lead to missing the sms sending

Message queue system is not included in the upcoming version of Smart School which is expected to be released by December 2025 or January 2026. We cannot confirm it right now, but we will try to add it in the next update of Smart School.

Can I expect it by March 2026 ? Actually for next session it should be implemented ,

Please note that we cannot confirm any feature until it is scheduled for a version update. The Message Queue system is not planned for the upcoming release, so we are unable to confirm it at this time. Once the upcoming version is released, if the Message Queue system is scheduled for the next update, we will confirm it accordingly.

The current Audit Trail already includes the necessary information required for tracking system activities, so we do not have immediate plans to expand it further. How can disable Date of Birth option when admit a new student? I don’t want this option as required.

In Smart School, the Date of Birth field is mandatory during student admission, as it’s used for age calculations; however, if you want to make it a non-mandatory field, then you can do it by making small changes/customisation in code files, which we can guide you on after purchase, so you can contact our support at https://support.qdocs.net/ after purchase, so our technical support team will assist you.

Could you please tell me how much time it will take to release the SaaS version of Smart School? And how much work have you completed already?

The Smart School SaaS version is under development, with around 90% of the work completed. The remaining part, including the testing phase, is expected to be completed in a few months, and the SaaS version is likely to be released within 2–3 months.

There is an absent attendance notification option available in Smart School, so when you mark any student as absent in the Smart School Attendance module, an absent notification will be sent to the parents, but for this, your student absent notification will be enabled in your System Settings > Notification Setting, so if it is enabled in your Smart School, then after saving the attendance of the student, an absent attendance notification will be sent automatically. Student absent notification sent to students and parents when their attendance has been submitted. Also there is an Fee Submission notification option available in Smart School, so whenever fees are submitted by the student, a notification will be sent to the student and parent,

So if you enable any notifications from System Settings > Notification Settings and your email/SMS and cron have been configured properly in your Smart School, it will send notifications to students and parents automatically for notifications that you have enabled.

Regarding “connect custom sms api of mine country” you can add any http based sms gateway in Smart School using our custom sms library (require some PHP experience). Sorry, but currently there is no option available in Smart School for this.

Is it possible every branch to have separate logins for Admin, Teachers, Students and Staff

Please note that each branch operates independently with its own URL, database, codebase, and user accounts (have separate logins for Admin, Teachers, Staff and Student). Smart School must be installed and activated separately for each branch. While the branches are linked under the Multi-branch setup, their code and databases remain separate, and uploads such as images and documents are stored locally for each branch. Ok, thanks, yesterday finally I was able to do it, so now, i buy the addons, all, so but now I bought the addons, and registered them on my local computer to test them first, but now that I want to implement them on the hosting, I can’t register the addon code because it appears already registered, this is what appears Your addon is already registered on http://localhost/smartschool/ and in fact I registered it on my computer and it no longer lets me do it on the hosting, how can I solve this problem?

currently email only ?? how to set number and password to login

Sorry, but currently there is no option available in Smart School to allow staff login using a mobile number. Staff can only log in using their email ID as the username.

In Smart School staff login credentials (username and password) generated automatically during Human Resource > Staff Directory > Add Staff. These autogenerated login credential of teacher and all staff send to their email id or phone number just after submitting Staff Directory > Add Staff form.

Can the homepage be changed in different languages?

You can set/change your Smart School front site homepage language from going to System Setting > Front CMS Setting please check this https://freeimage.host/i/KwRzv6J screenshot for more details.

But Smart School currently doesn’t provide multi language option in front site (so you cannot change language from front site) and multi language option is only available for the admin and student/parent panel. However, we will try to add a multi-language option on the front site also in the upcoming updates of Smart School. For further assistance, please contact support.

Unfortunately currently, there is no option available in Smart School to send bulk emails for staff login credentials similar to the “Login Credentials Send” option available for students under the Communicate module.

For staff members, login credentials are automatically generated and sent to their registered email address at the time of staff account creation.For security reasons, the superadmin cannot view an existing staff password. However, the superadmin can reset or change a staff member’s password from the staff profile page and then manually share the new credentials with the staff member if required.

Yes, if you import staff in bulk through a CSV file in Smart School, then their login credentials will be sent to their email ID (added in the staff CSV file). For more details, please contact our support.

Hello, Ticket support isn’t working and I used support@qdocs.net to pass my concern but it was not attended to.

Dear Support Team, I am position my issue here because I am unable to create a support ticket on the support portal. I earlier registered the script on different domains and those domains have expired. I have now installed the script on a new domain but when activating the script it tells me that I have already activated the code on different domains so I am unable to activate the script on my current domain

Kindly assist me to deactivate it from my previous expired domains so that I can activate the code on my current domain.
