Hi there! I have two licences but when I try to use them a notification tells me it’s already used for 2 sites. It seems I have lost track of where they are running. Is there a way to release both license keys so I can re-activate them where I need them? Thanks!
Hi FlorenceGee
Yes, please send those license keys via PM: https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support so we can deactivate them across all of the sites.

Victor
I purchased the PRO plugin and need this solution to work. I created a custom post type called “collection” using the PODs plugin. This custom post type has custom fields such as “author,” “property,” “dimensions,” “category,” “location,” “date,” etc.
Using Elementor, I created a new file-type template for the collections. On this page, I created a collections loop element, and I need to filter the collections in two ways (this is on the same page):
- If the user accessing the page is an administrator: Enter “author” in the filter (dropdown and predictive search within the dropdown), but the label must be “artist” and “location” (predictive search).
- If the user is not an administrator: Enter only “author” in the filter (dropdown) with the label “artist.”
Everything seems to work fine when the role is administrator, but when the role is not administrator, I don’t see any filters, and I have both configured in the plugin, each with its own ID.
Could you confirm what could be happening?
Regards,
Hi danideu
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
To sum this up, you have a custom CPT called “collection” with custom fields applied to it. The Elementor part with the most likely grid loop is also understandable.
However, this part is very confusing:
- If the user accessing the page is an administrator: Enter “author” in the filter (dropdown and predictive search within the dropdown), but the label must be “artist” and “location” (predictive search).
- If the user is not an administrator: Enter only “author” in the filter (dropdown) with the label “artist.”
We do not understand what is going on there or how it is supposed to work. If you can provide a reference to a page with such functionality, or send a link to a video explaining and showing how it works with the admin user, we can provide more information on it.
If you are using any type of membership plugins, they might apply changes that prevent certain content from being displayed to users. You can temporarily deactivate such a plugin to check it.
If you are applying multiple filter sets on the same page, you need multiple shortcodes or filter widgets to display them all. If only one filter set is applied on the page, it will be displayed in only one shortcode or filter widget. Even if you have 10 shortcodes on the page with IDs, the filter set will appear only in the first one that is processed during page rendering. The rest will be empty.

Hi,
I can’t seem to make the filter work on this page: https://wordpress.norheims.no/?page_id=2429 I have a filter on this page, and that works. I’ve tried to do the setup the same way. https://wordpress.norheims.no/?page_id=2184Hi elena426
Is there any reason why you kept the GET parameters on your site for pages instead of configuring the permalink structure in WordPress settings (Settings > Permalinks)?
You can send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document. So we can check the filters on the page where they are not working in order to provide more information about the issue.

i had a case open …issue with filter and now it is gone … my web site crashed
Hi calanita
If you are referring to this case: https://codecanyon.net/comments/31772828 the answer was provided in that comment thread, so we can check it on the site by only changing the FE plugin settings.
If your site crashed, you might want to check the debug.log file to see what caused the crash. Restore the site, and provide credentials so we can check the FE settings.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi I was using your plugin on a development site, and now that I’ve moved it to production, I’m unable to activate the license key. Could you please help me activate it for the official site: balvera.pt? Thank you for your help!
Hi desenvolvimentoCSW
Please send your license key that you are using for plugin activation via PM: https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support
So we can deactivate it across all sites, and you can activate it only on the required ones.

Hello. We’ve created a portfolio filter on a long content homepage. When selecting a category, the page reloads to the top of the homepage. See the homepage at this link: https://limousin.eus/website2025/
How can we ensure that every time we interact with the filter, the page loads in the same place, without returning to the top of the homepage?
Thank you.
Hi aintzerga
You can use AJAX filtering to avoid refreshing the filtered page, and as far as we can see, it is already turned on.
The only issue you’re experiencing is that the image is not displayed after filtering. This happens because the JavaScript code responsible for displaying those images with animation is not AJAX-compatible by default. For a solution, please check the instructions on this page: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/ajax-instructions-only/#ajax_related_problems
You need to find the JavaScript function that initializes the image display with animation and place it inside the “code wrapper” provided in the instructions, specifically, the last one on the page. This ensures the function is reinitialized after AJAX filtering.
Or you can use a little bit of a workaround, using simple CSS like this:
.js_active .grid-image {
opacity: 1 !important;
}

Victor
Hi Victor.
I’ve added the CSS code you provided to the Elfold theme options, and now the images load, but the format of the images has changed from square to rectangular. How can we maintain the image format when filtering?
Thank you.
Well, it is a quick workaround, not ideal, as we do not know what exactly this JS code is doing. So you might want to contact the theme support and ask them which function you can use in this code wrapper>
jQuery(document).on('ready', function(e){
/* Plugin function to re-init, e.g. jQuery("[data-fancybox]").fancybox(); */
});
So after AJAX filtering, this JS code will reinitialize and apply all of the required changes to the images. Usually, the theme support should provide such information without any issues. It could be lazy loading for images or something like animations. But most likely, just looking at the page, they’d know what it is.

We have the same issue as another users. No index in filtered pages. Our site is using a different structure for products,. We create seo Rules and still returning no index, no follow. If you need access or url please tell me.
Hi fdonunezb
Yes, please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it.
Also, please attach the link to the exact page where the SEO Rule should be working. This includes the selected filters that should trigger an SEO Rule, so we can understand the specific case in which you’re trying to display the rules.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi fdonunezb
Thank you for the credentials. However, you didn’t provide the site login link and the exact page where the SEO Rules should be tested. Could you please send all the necessary details via PM: https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi fdonunezb
We provided the answer via email, as it includes links to the site and other details.
In short: if you want to place SEO Rules on category pages, you need to disable indexing for the category filter (created from the taxonomy on which pages you want to apply SEO rules). Only then can SEO Rules be applied to the actual category pages.
However, even with that setup, there is an SEO plugin on your site that forcefully rewrites the content. For a fraction of a second, you can see the data from our plugin, but it is then overwritten by the SEO plugin. You may want to review that plugin’s settings to configure it accordingly.
Best Regards,
Victor
thank you, we are fixing our seo rules . But now our license is locked! please help
You need to enter the license key in the License tab under Filters > Settings > License.
Please use incognito mode in your browser during this process!
In order to get the License key for the Filter Everything PRO plugin, simply head to Filters -> Settings -> License and click the “Get your License Key” button.
It will take you to a new page where you have to log in with your Envato credentials (with an account where you have purchased the plugin) and obtain your License key.

Victor
Hi fdonunezb
We have checked the site, and the “Filtro2 productos” filter set was applied to all archive pages.
However, we placed it on the specific archive page (the one that you have sent us), with the correct query selected in the “What to filter” area, and it seems to be filtering correctly now.
You will need a separate filter set for each archive page, as they are using unique queries since they were created via Elementor.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi. How exactly to implement this with Elementor?
Hi channeldoubler
Could you please provide more detailed information on what you mean by that?
If you are referring to how to display the filter on pages created with Elementor, you can use either shortcodes: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/shortcodes/
Or use the Filter widget (Filter Everything – Filters). You can manually find it in the left widget panel while editing the page with Elementor (WordPress section). Please note that it won’t appear in search results.
Best Regards,
Victor
I have in Settings:
“Hide Empty Filters” on (Hide the Entire Filter if no one term contains posts)
but it still shows them !!!
check out the link… https://atozevents.com/modeling-agency/browse-models/I do not have Gender: Male…still there Home base: Arizona still showing
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi calanita
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Best Regards,
Victor
I am well educated with word press i created the web site… please let me know what you want me to check for you and i will send you screen shots. my email admin@atozevents.com i cannot add images here ..so cc my email and will send you screen shots
In that case, you can check the following on the site:
1) Make sure the correct query is selected in the “And what to filter” section of the filter set.
2) Try placing the filter set on the exact category page and test it. Archive pages may use unique queries.
3) Check the database for corrupted attribute data.
4) Turn off all caching solutions during testing and update the filter sets.
5) Disable all custom code, plugins, and themes, leaving only WooCommerce and the Filter Everything plugins active. Use the default WP 2025 theme for testing. If filtering works correctly, re-enable plugins, custom code, and your current theme one by one to identify the exact step where it stops working properly.
There is no default approach, as each case is unique. If none of the above steps help, you can use a staging site where the same issue occurs, so we can check it.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor Your instructions are a bit above me I cannot disable all custom code…impossible !!
if you get in…i am worried you do not know my web site…there is a lot of programing
would you like to go inside to look at the plugin setting and see if anything is off
or i can send you a video inside my system and take images of your plugin settings See maybe something is off
Have a wonderful day.
Hi calanita
As we mentioned, if you create a copy of the site on a staging domain, we can debug it without any concerns about the live site.
However, if that’s not possible, we can check the live site while only accessing the plugin settings.
Please ensure you have backups. In general, debugging live sites is not recommended, but we can proceed safely by only reviewing the plugin settings and updating them if needed. The rest of the plugins and technical setup will not be touched.

Victor

Hello: We are thinking about buying a paid version of FilterEverything plugin, would you please confirm if we can achieve this scenario:
On page with no products we would like to mimic this setup https://www.ptacs.com/replacement-guide/ Along with regular attribute filters in the form of drop-downs, they have 2 search fields. AND search is predictive, populating some results as the user types things in. Those results would need to be pulled from product attributes and brands and potentially from product name and description. (In this link example looks like they are using ACF. We are using Woo. Also the table below the search and filter is completely separate from the search and filter. But if there is a way to connect those two – it would be great. So as the user types something in the search field – the below table gets narrowed down to relevant items).
Compatible with Divi builder
Thank you!
Hi homefieldm
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
That type of search field with auto-suggesting related terms while typing is not yet implemented in the plugin.
The closest option would be dropdowns or other fields using the terms search input, similar to this example: https://demo.filtereverything.pro/horizontal-views/ where dropdowns display all available options along with a search field: https://prnt.sc/glwjesMATnjy allowing you to type text and find the corresponding term.
Best Regards,
Victor
That would probably work! Would you please confirm if this option is only available in the PRO version? Im currently not seeing it in the free, but maybe Im missing something.
Thank you for your help!
Hi homefieldm
The term search field is available in both versions. However, for term search within dropdowns, you need the PRO version, as it relies on the improved dropdown styles. Standard HTML dropdowns don’t support this functionality; it requires Select2, which is already integrated in the PRO version.
Also, in the Free version, you can create only one filter set, which can be displayed on archive pages of a filtered post type, working only with the main query. If page builders are involved, then the PRO version is the better choice, as it supports working with custom queries.

Victor
Thank you so much!!
Hi! I saw a comment on here about this pagination issue but have not been able to resolve on my own. We currently use the ementor pagination and it does not update when selecting filters. The products filter as they should but there are still multiple pages within the pagination that are displaying empty when selected since there are not enough products for those pages. Pagination and products are within the elementor container while filter sets are not. https://houseofgains.com/product-category/supplements/productsize-25lb/
Hi webconsulthub1
Try using another theme, such as the default Twenty Twenty-Five theme, and also make sure to select the correct list in the “And what to filter” setting. This can be strictly connected to the theme functionality or the chosen list in the filter set settings.
Best Regards,
Victor
Firstly I see no Elementor widgets but using the shortcodes, the filtering works. However, there’s no ‘sort by’ dropdown options like there is in your Elementor demo here https://demo.filtereverything.pro/elementor/. I did try the help in the Wordpress plugin and it gave me short code but it generates an error “There are no Sorting widgets on this site yet. Please, create it first.” I can’t find anything to create one, can you help?
Hi RyanHouseofType
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Elementor’s search won’t find the widgets related to the filtering plugin.
You can find them in the WordPress section, located in the Elementor widgets area on the left side while editing the page with Elementor.
Best Regards,
Victor
Thanks for the help, Victor.
Hello, I am experiencing a problem with stock status also. All other filters work, but if you choose stock status, the filter does not work. This all worked before and I don’t think anything has changed. It has just stopped working all of a sudden? Please can you help?
Hi moxieservices
You can send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it.
Please provide the link to the exact page where it’s not working, so we can check if it’s related to the same issue.
Best Regards,
Victor
Have sent details via DM.
Thank you
Sophie
Hi Sophie
Seems like you have some code that is interfering during the building of the filtered URL, so it is only working with the stock status filter. Some type of third-party plugin functionality or custom code is connected to it. If we use the simple GET parameters, it works as it should without any redirections: https://luxurywatcheswimbledon.com/product-category/watches/?fe_status=instock
But if we use the permalink structure, some functionality redirects the filtered page to the main homepage.
So, you can turn off all of your plugins and other custom code to find the one that is causing this, including all permalink-related plugins and themes.
Or you can use this code to turn off the permalinks functionality in our plugin and use the GET parameters:
define( 'FLRT_PERMALINKS_ENABLED', false );
Best Regards,
Victor
Hiya, ok I’ve added that code into the theme’s functions.php file and it seems to be working. I think this is the best thing to do as the other plugins are needed and there are a lot of other plugins in use and I don’t want to open that Pandora’s box!
Thank you for your help
Hi Sophie
Yeah, the bigger and more complex the site (especially with a specific configuration), the safer option is to avoid altering individual parts. Changing one section can easily cause issues elsewhere, since everything was likely set up that way for a reason.
In any case, we’re glad to hear that it helped fix the filtering issue.
Best Regards,
Victor
I’m inserting my license key in the plugin settings, save, the page refreshes and the input field is empty again and plugin is in LOCKED mode, what should I do
Hi noftech
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Do you see any errors after the page refreshes? Usually, there should be some type of error message if something is wrong.
First things first: license key vs purchase key (they are two different things)
Please use incognito mode in your browser during this process!
In order to get the License key for the Filter Everything PRO plugin, simply head to Filters -> Settings -> License and click the “Get your License Key” button.
It will take you to a new page where you have to log in with your Envato credentials (with an account where you have purchased the plugin) and obtain your License key.
If using the license key is still not working, please check the error you’re getting here: https://prnt.sc/44k7olA62G7Q

Logged into the wrong account before apparently:
I’m unable to translate the filter titles. I already translated the string/taxonomies via WPML and added a seperate filter set in English, but nothing is workig and the filter titles remain Dutch on my English webshop
Hi digitalm134
You need to create two filter sets, one for English and one for the other language, and add the appropriate titles in each set. For example, if the English version uses “Color” as a filter title, the Dutch version should use the Dutch title for the color filter. In the WPML, the settings for Filter Set translations should be chosen exactly like on this page: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/with-wpml-polylang/
Each filter set should contain its own filters. Adding a translation to a filter set does not automatically copy the filters to the translated version; you need to add them manually by opening the translated version of the filter set directly, not via the translator.

I spent more then 10 hours to create an seo rule and index it. I successfully create seo rule. added h1, title, meta description. the url is working properly showing page title, h1 and meta description. But the issue is meta robots show noindex, nofollow for those filter pages. Can you guide me what howe can i fix it. the indexing depth is set to 5. I read your guide and followed it completely but without any success. here is my seo rule …/dawlance-led-tv/smart-tv-yes. this is url https://www.aysonline.pk/dawlance-led-tv/smart-tv-yes/ here is configuration screenshot https://prnt.sc/a2nVaUXXHCXa
Hi mansooryousaf
Well, as far as we can see, on the provided page, the plugin works just fine with the robot tags: https://prnt.sc/N6fX8RAddVb8
The issue is that something else is applying the robots tags to the page as nofollow/noindex. The filtering functionality is applying the correct tags, so the incorrect ones are likely coming from another plugin, theme setting, or custom code.

Yesterday, I purchased the Filter Everything Pro version. I downloaded the zip file, and it gave me an older version, the 1.9.1, and not the 1.9.4. My AI is telling me I need the latest version to get everything set up properly in WordPress. Can you please help me out?
Hi nateprice
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Yes, you can update your AI information to reflect that the latest plugin version is 1.9.1 (as of now), so it won’t provide false information. Overall, the AI’s accuracy is about 50/50 when it comes to the quality of information provided.
If you’re facing any issues with setting up the filters or anything else, please let us know the specific problems. Don’t rely solely on the AI, as we have the real, up-to-date information on the plugin. What it can and cannot do at this time. We can also help set up a working example on the required page instead of trying to fix issues based on incorrect AI suggestions.
