The filter works well on some pages, but on the pages when the permalink is changed with Permalink Manager Pro (https://permalinkmanager.pro/?utm_source=plugin), it doesn’t work. I sent private data for this issue to this email: filtereverythingsprt@gmail.com
Hi Giovanni_m
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
The modified permalinks created with Permalink Manager and the friendly permalinks for filters are not compatible due to the way both methods handle URLs.
However, you can use the following code in your functions.php file or via a code snippet plugin to turn off the Friendly URL permalink manager:
define( 'FLRT_PERMALINKS_ENABLED', false );
After that, you need to go to the filter set and hit the update button. It will turn off the URL permalink manager, so the filtered page would look like ?color=red-or-green instead of /color-red-or-green/

Hi, thank you for the great product. I’ve searched through the comments, but can’t see anything exactly like my question.
I was using BeRocket before, and they have an option the following option:
Always displays products when filters are selected. Use the option when you have categories and subcategories on the pages of your shop, and you want to display products when filtering.
Example of how this works with BeRocket: https://forcetools.co.za/shop/
My client wants the categories and subcategories displayed on the shop page when it loads, and then once a filter is selected, for it to show the products.
I’ve thought about displaying both categories and products on the page, then hiding the products and writing some JS to switch the two once a filter is selected.
Do you perhaps have an easier way to achieve this?
Much appreciated
Hi Web2Guy
Unfortunately, this functionality is not available in the plugin, at least not yet. It might be included as a built-in feature in future updates.
There’s no easy way to achieve this. You can implement it through custom CSS and JS, or possibly using WooCommerce hooks if any are available, to hide certain items and display others when the page is filtered. It’s quite an open-ended task that requires experimenting to find the best solution for your specific case.
You can find the useful functions from our plugin on this page: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/functions/

Hi Victor, okay, great. Thanks for getting back to me.
Hi, is it possible to transfer the license to another site? It’s no longer in use on the current site. Thanks.
Hi stal86
You can deactivate the license before deleting the plugin on the old site. If you no longer have access to the old site with the license, you can send the license key via PM here: https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support and we will deactivate it across all sites.

Hey Hey !
I’m having an issue with the Filter Everything Pro plugin on one of my websites and would really appreciate your help. The website is https://techhubsa.shop/ , and the filter should be displayed on this page: https://techhubsa.shop/store/ .
I’ve configured the filter to appear there, but for some reason, it’s not showing on the front end. I’ve reviewed the settings and can’t seem to figure out what might be causing this.
Please can you help me??
Hi namastark2
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?

Hello, i provided You all loging details to site abrazivo.sk. To replicate the error firstly activate plugins filter everything and filter everything pro. Than o this page https://abrazivo.sk/obchod/ there is eshop on left sidebar should be filter. On top of page in menu place Your mouse on Obchod and after that on Abrazivá and you should see menu with all products categories. Links to theese categories are not working when theese two plugins are activated. After deactivation of plugins all links work correctly. Please let me know if you need more help.
Hi jozef12
We have checked the site and made everything work on the shop page.
1) The main issue was with the filter prefix names. They were conflicting with existing slugs on the site, which is why, after activating the plugin with those filters, you couldn’t access the category pages. The conflicting slugs were causing WordPress to return 404 errors.
2) We placed the filter set to display on “Common WordPress pages + Shop” so the filters now appear on that page.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi. I bought your plugin Filter Everything and I think I can like it. however, I would need to use it to filter by Author (or more specifically by Vendor (I use multivendor WC Vendors) . But if I choose Post Author then I get the wrong name and it doesn’t filter out the author either…Please let me know if this is possible to fix/get. Thanks
Hi cybertron1
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?

i will prepare a staging site for this and get back to you
i have now sent you the credentials
Hi cybertron1
We’ve checked the shop page, and it appears it’s not using the default WP_Query approach to display products. We created a new testing page (/fe_test_page/) and placed the filter set there. Everything is filtering correctly on that page using the default WooCommerce [products] shortcode, as it relies on the default WP_Query.
You can switch the approach on the archive pages to use either the main query or a custom query to display products in order to filter them.
As for the author/vendor names, they are pulled from the database. You can modify this behavior or create a custom field for the author/vendor name, which would allow you to set and display the names as needed. Alternatively, you can modify the terms via this hook: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/hooks/#terms-before-display-hookBest Regards,
Victor
I purchased Pro but I can’t figure out how to get the widget to display, having tried multiple methods. Can you help please?
Hi aisha125
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.

Thanks very much Victor, I’ve sent the details over to you. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi aisha125
We checked the site, and the search template is not working at all. It doesn’t display anything, and there are no search bars to perform a search or be directed to that page.
What we did instead was create a new page called /fe-test-page/ and placed the filters there. Everything is filtering correctly on that page. Additionally, we created a set of redirection filters on the home page. When you select the desired filter and click the Search button, you’ll be redirected to /fe-test-page/ with the applied filters. (Note: the filter sets on the home page and /fe-test-page/ are different.)
This is a standard approach when you want to allow users to select filters on the home page and be redirected to a specific page showing the filtered posts and additional filtering options.
We weren’t sure which exact post type you wanted to filter, but Therapists was the only post type with a few posts and custom fields that could be used for filtering.
Best Regards,
Victor
Is it possible for the filter widget with the bottom pop-up not only to appear in the mobile view but also in the desktop view? Our site is www.neatic.org/recipes and we really like the mobile view, so we would love to have the same look on desktop as well (at the moment, all the filters are displayed at the top in desktop mode, which looks much less appealing compared to the mobile view). Many thanks and best regards.
Hi konto15
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Yes, this is possible. You need to add the custom code from this page in order to change the mobile button breakpoint: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/mobile-devices-new-approach/
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor
Now I’m almost done with the website:)
I am working in Divi Builder. I’ve installed WPML and got the chips to show. But there are a lot of pages that are showning. I thought I’d have fewer. But when I do a search, not all the search results are showning. I turned on show pagination. But I don’t see that any number or text appears to see more on the next page.
Question 2: I tried to make the filter search more exciting on mobile, such as Popup filter. But when I checked it, nothing happened. I put it back. Afraid to do something drastic, in case I ruin everything I’ve done
Hi marifkarlsen
1) Could you please clarify your request? It’s not fully clear. From what we understand, the filter chips are displayed, but when you perform a search, not all posts are shown, and although pagination is enabled, the page numbers are not visible. How exactly are these points connected, and what is the core issue you’re facing? Please provide the direct link to the page where the issue occurs, along with a screenshot or video that clearly shows the problem.
2) Unfortunately, the same issue applies to the description here, we simply don’t understand what the actual problem is. It’s unclear whether you’re referring to the search filter within our plugin, to filtering a page using the filters, or to the default WordPress search page where you want to filter posts. Search and filtering are two separate things, so we’re a bit confused about which one you’re referring to specifically. Please clarify this so we can assist you properly.
And please include some links to screenshots or a video showing the issue. This would help a lot to solve all those issues much faster.
Best Regards,
Victor
1. Number /next page: One the my search pages there are a lot of pages being displayed. I tried to reduce this. I was able to show 5 result at a time, and I enable pagination in hope a next page would apper, when the result was higher then 5, for example 9 result. But I does not have to be numbers. Just next page og something.
My search pages: English page: https://usnlearninglibrary.no/en/search-and-find/ Norwegian page: https://usnlearninglibrary.no/sok-og-finn/
Her you can see number of pages: https://demo.filtereverything.pro/product-category/clothing/women/color-red/brand-hm/c-kind-dress/?max_price=100
You still has a user if you want me to send you logg in?
2. On mobil the problem was that I wish I could press a button and the filter search/menu would appear. That is now working, so I’m very happy about that. A new problem is that the filter searches are small, when I press the button the first time, but when I press reset or something similar, they return to the correct size. Does it appear the same way for you? I wanted to send you pictures of this, but I wasn’t able to upload them in this conversation.
Do you want me to send you images of the problems, and where do you want me to send them?
Best Regards Mari
Hi Mari
1) The pagination is not connected to the filtering plugin; it’s a separate component that comes with the template used to display posts on the page.
2) This seems to be some kind of style conflict. We’re not entirely sure, but it appears that some styles are missing from the filtered elements. Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Best Regards,
Victor
We’ve checked the site and simply added custom CSS under Filters > Settings > Experimental to set the width to 100% !important for screens with a max width of 768px.
However, there might still be some styling issues on the site, possibly related to the error shown here: https://prnt.sc/pmT7r8jr0gmp
Best Regards,
Victor
Thank you very much:)
Hi! I have problem with the plugin. I does not filter anything. I have tried all different WP_Querys. I have also multiple different filters. The website is https://fitnessfirst.fi/
Hi tomas362
We wanted to quickly switch to the default Flatsome theme from the child theme, as the child was using custom templates for the WooCommerce archive pages.
Unfortunately, after switching to the default Flatsome theme, we encountered a fatal error. Could you please switch it back to the child theme? Most likely, the issue is related to how the custom template in the child theme is handling the archive pages.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor,
That was very bad thing.
Please do not make any unauthorized changes but rather provide tools and instructions on how to get started.
Our apologies for that.
If possible, could you please provide a staging environment with the same setup?
This will allow us to apply all the necessary changes without affecting the live site. Since this is not a default setup, we’ll need to check exactly how everything is working, which may involve switching themes, deactivating plugins, and so on.
Additionally, if you can, please provide FTP access as well, in case any fatal errors occur. That way, we can quickly restore the staging site if needed without distracting you every time to do so.
Best Regards,
Victor
I accept your apologies and thank you for that. Now I have updated Staging-2 and same credentials. Same login url and which to staging. There you can bug test it. Thank you for the support!
Hi tomas362
Just to double-check, do you mean that the staging site is now: https://fitnessfirst.fi/ or is there another link to the staging site?
Best Regards,
Victor
Same url and login, but go to the staging site at the back end header under production section and which it to staging 2
So what we did was create a test page: https://fitnessfirst.fi/testfepage_sup/ on staging-2, we used the shortcode on the page to display products and added the shortcode for filters. We also applied a separate filter set to that page, and everything is filtering without any issues.
Additionally, we turned off the Autoptimize plugin, which was removing all of the plugin’s JS and preventing it from running properly.
However, since we know that changing the theme causes an instant fatal error, we couldn’t switch themes to check whether the issue is coming from a specific archive template or other custom code (like custom sorting, stock status logic, or modifications to the global product query).
If you can switch the theme to the default WordPress 2025 theme on the staging-2 site, we could investigate more precisely. The plugin works correctly with the default Flatsome theme, but it seems that your child theme is applying some extra layout or logic on archive pages, which might be causing the issue.
Best Regards,
Victor
What are the JS I can Exclude CSS from Autoptimize?
Hi tomas362
All of the JS files in the plugin folder.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hey Mate,
Hope you’ve been well. Just installed the plugin on the staging server, I have a few questions about customisations with Elementor.
Does this always work only with shortcode in elementor?
Hi brds1
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
You can use shortcodes, and additionally, there are widgets available in the WordPress section.
When editing a page with Elementor, look on the left side, where there are different tabs with widgets. In the “WordPress” tab, you’ll find our plugin widgets listed as:
Filter Everything – Filters
Filter Everything – Chips
Filter Everything – Sorting
There are 3 widgets in total.
Note: These widgets won’t appear in the Elementor search bar, so you’ll need to scroll manually to find them in the WordPress tab.
Best Regards,
Victor
Thanks mate, I Wasted whole day yesterday, searching and thinking it doesnt exist. How do I change the styling of stuff. do I have to manually edit CSS or is theres a easier way to edit these using Elementor. Similar to what JetSmartFilters have?
Also having issues with sort by function. it isnt working for me. Thanks
Hi brds1
1) Unfortunately, there are no style editing options like those available in default Elementor widgets, only custom CSS for now. However, we may expand this in the future and add similar styling capabilities. You can add your custom CSS under Filters > Settings > Experimental > Custom CSS.
2) Could you please provide a bit more information about the issues with the sorting widget, along with a link to the page where it’s not working, so we can check it?
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi, for some reason i have bought 2 licenses for filter everything pro, just hoping i can get 1 refunded please
Hi 5t6c4dgk5k
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
We are sorry to hear that. In general, a refund is possible by submitting a form through the account where the plugin was purchased and waiting for a response. Please note that the support team does not handle refunds. Furthermore, we have no control over the refund team and cannot speed up the process or influence it in any way.

Hello, I have problems with plugin Filter Everything PRO I have woocommerce eshop https://abrazivo.sk/ I set up plugin there, activated it and created filter which I added on the sidebar on shop page. It is working but the problem is that if I choose from main menu some product category with Obchod-> Abrazivá-> and choose one category for example Balotina, which is on url https://abrazivo.sk/kategoria-produktu/balotina/ it shows only one product image not product category itself. All product categories links are not working some shows only one product and some shows page 404. I did not change any links in menu so they should work. Right now I deactivated bot free and pro versions of plugin so link are working, but I would like to find and fix the problem. Please help me to resolve this issue. If you need to log in to site please let me know if you also need ftp or only admin account.

Hi. I’m trying to get the filters to look different than on Desktop. I’ve read the documentation and I’ve tried several different settings, and none of them have worked. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but I’m not sure what.
Here’s one of my filter pages https://knotionscom2.bigscoots-staging.com/our-ebooks/
The only way that I’m able to see filters is if I select “same as Desktop”.
But for your review purposes, I’ve made it: - Appear as a popup - ON for Compatibility Mode - ON for Sidebar at Top
I’ve looked to see if z-index wasn’t right, but I don’t see the filters behind stuff. I also looked for a Filters button (even at the bottom) but I don’t see it.
And just in case, I has someone else check with his phone, but he had the same experience.
Hi knotions
Please add the following CSS code in Filters > Settings > Experimental > Custom CSS::
@media screen and (max-width: 768px) {
.wpc_show_bottom_widget .wpc-filters-open-button-container,
.wpc_show_open_close_button .wpc-filters-open-button-container {
display: block !important;
}
}
Best Regards,
Victor
thanks! that did it!
Hello, I’m having problems getting the filter to display on any mobile. I am using Woodmart as my theme. Could you please tell me which widget I should be placing my filter everything widget? On desktop I have used shortcuts in columns, not sidebars. The only way I have gotten Woodmart to display your filter on mobile is to set an off-canvas sidebar from an ugly button no user would think to use (it’s from my theme). I’d much rather see your nice filter button on mobile.
I have followed these instructions https://filtereverything.pro/resources/mobile-devices-new-approach/ and set my Filter > settings> general to both “appear as a pop up” and “collapsed and expanded”, neither will pop up.
Hi Clobbergirl
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Also, please attach the exact page where you are trying to display the mobile filters. So we can make it work on that exact page.
Best Regards,
Victor
Sent! Thanks
Hi Clobbergirl
So here’s what we did: on one of the pages, /vintage-embroidery-patterns/, we edited it and unchecked the “Optimizations” options related to JS, screenshot: https://prnt.sc/xe1Fdli31OLt
We also cleared the used CSS just in case, and now everything is working as it should on that exact page.
Best Regards,
Victor
Strange that that was what was stopping it, thank you Victor! I shall go turn off those and see if it doesn’t slow down my site too much. Do you know the name of the JS file that it uses as I think I can and an exception to my optimizer?
Hi Clobbergirl
Basically, all of the JS files in the plugin folder were affected. This optimization sort of delays the execution of the JS code on the page, which results in elements being rendered without any event listeners applied to them.
Best Regards,
Victor
I’ve been testing the Filter Everything plugin without much success. I’m not sure if it’s due to a lack of knowledge on my side or if the plugin is not suitable for my setup.
Currently, I’m using the JupiterX theme, Elementor as my page builder, and I want the following:
1. Main Shop Page
I want my general product page (main shop) to have a category filter.
Configuration:
Post type to filter: Products
Where to filter: Common WordPress pages → Shop
With this setup, the field “And what to filter?” displays 4 product list options. I tried all 4, but none of them work. The message “No one Filter Set is related to this page…” always appears, even though I’m sure I’m on the right page.
The only way I managed to make it work was by creating a regular page, adding the WooCommerce product widget, then adding the plugin’s widget. In this case, it worked with the following configuration:
Post type to filter: Products
Where to filter: Pages → Store
What to filter: Post list Products #4
(But this doesn’t seem like the correct approach.)
2. Product Category Pages
The same issue happens with product category pages. These pages are created with Elementor Theme Builder.
Configuration (https://postimg.cc/z3W5xpHj):
Post type to filter: Products
Where to filter: Product Categories → Any Category (I also tested with specific categories)
And what to filter?: Post list Products (I tried all options, but I still get the message “No one Filter Set is related to this page…”). See image https://postimg.cc/dhQYtYHH
Summary
If I select WooCommerce pages (Shop or Category pages), the plugin doesn’t work and always shows “No one Filter Set is related to this page…”
If I create individual pages with Elementor, add the product widget and the filter widget manually, then it works.
What I Need
I want the main shop page (website.com/store/) to have multiple filters, including categories.
I also want each product category page (e.g., website.com/products/lanyards/) to have filters as well, where lanyards is the category name.
My website has many product categories and subcategories. What can I do to achieve this?
Hi thordur1
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor, thank you I have sent the credentials
Hi thordur1
Thank you for the credentials. We have checked the site, and it appears to be either a custom code issue, a permalink modification, or another conflict.
Could you set up a staging site with the same configuration so we can safely deactivate plugins and custom code to identify the exact source of the conflict?
Best Regards,
Victor
Hey, thank you for the response
I have sent the credentials for the staging environment.
We have checked the site, and from what we’ve seen so far, the issue is related to the Elementor templates and how they are applied to the pages. Most likely, there’s a conflict somewhere in those templates.
When Elementor is deactivated, the filtering works fine on the original pages. However, we’re unable to create a new test template because the Elementor Pro license isn’t active, since the domain name doesn’t match the license.
If you can resolve the license issue, we can try creating a clean template, applying it to the page, and testing it properly on the staging site.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor,
I have enabled Elementor Pro features. Please let me know for any action needed.
Thanks a lot!
Hi thordur1
We tested the setup further by deleting the initial template and creating our own for testing purposes. The filters still weren’t displayed on category pages until we deactivated the Essential Addons for Elementor plugin. Once it was deactivated, everything displayed correctly and functioned as expected.
This strongly suggests there’s a conflict coming from Essential Addons for Elementor. We’re not exactly sure what part of the plugin causes the issue, but it could be related to permalink handling, page preloading, or other dynamic content features that interfere with the normal display of the filters.
If you have any custom configuration or specific modules enabled within Essential Addons, it might be worth reviewing them. You could try disabling individual modules to isolate the conflict. Additionally, we’ll test it on our end as well, to see if just the plugin itself is causing such conflicts.
Best Regards,
Victor
You’re totally right. Essential Addons for Elementor is causing the problem. I have disabled all elements and components of it, but still not seeing the plugin working along with Filter Eveything. I’ll figure out what to do with it.
Thanks a lot! Best support ever
Hi thordur1
A little update on this: we’ve spent a fair amount of time trying to reproduce the issue, but without any luck. We tested different settings and options with the addon plugin, but none of them affected the page in the same way. It could be an issue with the templates, custom code, or modified functionality.
Best Regards,
Victor
I just wanted to update: that’s correct. After disabling and re enabling the plugin, it worked fine. Like you said, it could be something related to custom code related to the plugin.
Thank you Victor
Hi thordur1
Thank you for the update. That’s amazing news!
We’re glad to hear that everything is working fine now.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi there,
we’re running WordPress + LearnPress on the Eduma (ThimPress) theme. We also use Elementor Pro (with Thim/“EKits” widgets) and WPML for multilingual (EN default; IT, SQ, AR, FR, DE, EL, ES).
Goal Use one Filter Everything Pro Filter Set for LearnPress courses and show it on the Courses archive/list in every language (English /learning/, Italian /it/libreria/, etc.), with labels translated via WPML, without duplicating the Filter Set per language.
What we did / current setup • Filter Set → Filtered Post Type: lp_course (LearnPress Courses) • Where to show (Target): we want it on the Course archive. We tried: • Target “Post Type Archive → Courses (lp_course)”, Insert position: Before main loop, Affect: Main query only • (As a fallback) Using the set’s shortcode inside the Archive template (Elementor) • AJAX on; Posts container selector: .thim-ekits-course__inner (sometimes with a page-level ID on the widget: #fe-courses-loop .thim-ekits-course__inner) • Single post selector: .thim-ekits-course__item (or article.lp_course) • URL type: tested Query string (to be safer with WPML). • Rebuilt Index, flushed Permalinks, cleared caches.
Problem We can get the filters to appear/work on one language (e.g., EN /learning/), but not reliably on the other language page (IT /it/libreria/). Sometimes the filters don’t render on the Italian page at all; if we switch Target to “Specific Page,” we can make it work but then we must duplicate the Filter Set per language, which we’d like to avoid.
Questions 1. What’s the recommended Target for LearnPress + Eduma (thimpress) so a single Filter Set is injected on every language page? • Is “Post Type Archive → Courses (lp_course)” the correct approach, or should we always use the shortcode inside the LearnPress archive template (Elementor)? 2. For AJAX replacement, is .thim-ekits-course__inner the correct Posts container selector for Eduma’s EKits Courses widget? • Any official selector you recommend (container / item / pagination) for Eduma/ThimPress + LearnPress? 3. With WPML, do we need any special setting so the same Filter Set attaches to all localized archives, or is there a best practice (e.g., URL type, hook choice) we should follow?
Pages for examples: • EN: https://academy.tokeoils.com/learning/ • IT: https://academy.tokeoils.com/it/libreria/
If you need, we can provide temporary access, but not on this channel. Thanks a lot for your guidance!
Best regards, Moreno
Hi Moreno
It is not possible to have one filter set for all translations. You need to enable filter set translations and create a separate filter set for each language.
Please check this page for WPML: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/with-wpml-polylang/
For the AJAX settings, please check this page on how to find the correct container class name: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/ajax-instructions-only/
If you’re unable to configure it, please send the credentials to the WP admin dashboard by following this document so we can check it.
Additionally, please send the link to the exact page where we can set an example for it all.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hello there
I am experiencing an issue with the Filter Everything plugin. My Pro license is active and I have verified that:
1. Filter Everything PRO is activated under Plugins in my WordPress dashboard 2. The SEO Rules menu is visible in the plugin settings 3. The Filter Set is assigned to Products #2
With Brand and Type everything works as expected. The slug is correct filtering works and the H1 updates.
As soon as I add a third filter Tyre Size the filter itself applies and the slug updates correctly and filtering still works but the H1 tag stops updating and reverts back to the default page title instead of showing the expected result.
Could you please help me troubleshoot why the H1 stops updating once a third filter is added.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Hi beniangel
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Try going to Filters > Settings > Indexing Depth and make sure to set a higher number for the required post type to enable SEO Rules with the longer depth. Let us know if this helps resolve the issue.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi!
I’m currently setting up the filter widget on my WordPress website (Elementor + WooCommerce), but unfortunately the filters are not working. even after following all the documentation and trying different troubleshooting steps.
Here’s what I’ve done so far: - I’m displaying WooCommerce products via the standard Elementor WooCommerce widget - I tested on an incognito browser to avoid caching issues - I’ve tried multiple class selectors (.woocommerce, .products, full elementor section IDs): no change
The filter is showing correctly on the frontend, but clicking on any filter doesn’t change the product list (nothing happens).
Do you have any idea what might be going wrong, or could you please point me in the right direction? I’d really appreciate your help!
Thanks so much in advance. Kinds regards, Sharon

Hi Victor,
Thanks for your quick reply! Done
Thanks, Sharon
Hi Sharon
All done! Everything is filtering now.
In your case, the issue was just in the settings of a filter set: https://prnt.sc/bBGQxfhLnyVg
In the “And what to filter” section, you need to choose the correct post list to be filtered. Basically, the one that is responsible for displaying your posts on the page.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor,
Thanks so much for your quick reply!
I’ve tested all the post lists (from #1 to #8) before, in the “And what to filter” section, but unfortunately it’s still not working correctly on my end.
The filters themselves do show up and seem to respond when clicked, but the product grid doesn’t update — it always stays the same, no matter which filters I apply. So it looks like the filtering isn’t actually affecting the post list.
Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
Best, Sharon
Currently, everything is working on the page you sent: https://prnt.sc/ZajP7KJenVgq and filtering works after selecting the correct query.
Here’s how to correctly apply those changes:
1) In the “And what to filter” dropdown, select the first post list.
2) Make sure the counter is enabled so you can see how many posts each filter term should display.
3) Click the Update button and wait until the filter set fully applies the updates.
4) Go to the page with the posts, choose the term with the lowest number (like 1 or even 0), and check if it is working.
5) If it’s not working, refresh the page (just in case).
6) If still not working, go back to the filter set page, choose the second post list, click Update, and again wait for the changes to apply.
7) Return to the post page (where you already selected the filter term), refresh it. When you refresh the page with the selected filter term, you’ll see right away if the filtering is working.
Continue this process until you identify the correct post list.
Common issues:
Not waiting for the filter set to apply all changes.
Forgetting to click the Update button.
Not refreshing the filtering page, which is essential to ensure everything updates correctly.

Hi Victor,
Thanks again for checking!
I just tested the filters again — the product categories are working perfectly now, but the brand filter under “Merk” still isn’t affecting the product grid. The filter UI responds, but the product list doesn’t update at all when selecting a brand. Could you try filtering by brand on your end to see if you experience the same issue?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards, Sharon
Just in case, we have changed the filter prefixes to unique values: https://prnt.sc/ukosP0TMBT0W as they could conflict with slugs already created on the site. Everything is working so far with all filters. Also, make sure you have cleared the browser cache and cookies to test everything properly.

H,
What am i doing wrong?
I only can assign the filter to categories and only 1 tag.
Example:
I want to filter categories, and tags but with multiple headings for tags.
As in beauty products:
Category filter tag filter for soap, shampoo, creme etc tag filter for skin type -> dry, extra dry etc. Tag filterfor parfum -> blossom, roses, lavendel etc
I cant get it done
Hi erkankerem
Do you mean that you need the ability to create multiple filters from the same entity? For example, creating several filters from the same taxonomy named category or from the tag taxonomy? If that’s the goal, this is not possible, you can create only one filter from one entity.
However, what you can do is use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/ to add as many custom taxonomies to your post type as needed. This way, you can organize your filtering criteria across different taxonomies and create one filter from each of them.

Hi Thax for your reply,
1 product has different tags example:
Category shampoo
Tags: multiple like skin, type skin, type smell, type…..
I like to add the tags as filter see my filter here but cant achieve put tags in a different filter or as one. See below https://beehonestcosmetics.com/category/producten/ Example https://beehonestcosmetics.com/example/Afbeelding1.png https://beehonestcosmetics.com/example/Afbeelding2.pngPosts, by default, have two taxonomies: one named “Category” and the other named “Tags”. That’s just two taxonomies.
You can create only one filter from a single taxonomy. So, if you create a filter from the taxonomy named “Tags,” you cannot create another one from the same entity. This is why you need to add separate custom taxonomies with the required terms in them.

Victor
