Hey, i have a shop with over 3K Artikels. Loadtime for category pages is abou 2,5 – 3-5s. Its related to the amount of filters we are using. My idea was to load the filters after the category page has loaded. Is there a way to do so?
Hi KKlos01
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
How many filters do you have? Could you please send the link to the page where the issue occurs so we can check it?
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor here for example https://oerter-buerobedarf.de/versand-praesentation/
This doesn’t appear to be an issue with the filters on the pages; the problem seems to be caused by a strange GET parameter being added to the category pages.
Speed with the parameter: https://prnt.sc/QXB_M3ZFAlE7
Speed without the parameter: https://prnt.sc/t7F4oAX_BNgr
When you click on any category, it redirects to that category page with this GET parameter:
?_gl=1*6xdj87*_up*MQ..*_ga*MzA0NDEwNTUxLjE3NTU3ODIzNjI.*_ga_73F037JP8Y*czE3NTU3ODIzNjIkbzEkZzAkdDE3NTU3ODIzNjIkajYwJGwwJGgw
Best Regards,
Victor
seems to be something related to the google tag manager …
only thing i get better LCP Values is disabling Filter everthing
Now that those parameters are no longer in the URL, the page is loading in under 1 second — as shown here: https://prnt.sc/_5ei_raNwAhD — whereas before it was taking 2–3 seconds. The site itself is quite heavy, so adding more elements naturally increases the load time.
Additionally, you can try enabling OPcache if it’s available on your hosting.

Victor
Hello, I use the plugin on my website with approx. 100 URLs. Due to the many filter options, this results in approx. 66,000 URLs! This causes a number of problems. Among other things, preloading via my cache plugin takes an extremely long time. Is there a way to prevent URLs from being generated by the filter, e.g. only with URL parameters?
Hi she4www
You can use this code in the functions.php file or in the code snippet plugin:
define( 'FLRT_PERMALINKS_ENABLED', false );
After that, you need to go to the filter set and hit the update button.
It will turn off the URL permalink manager, so the filtered page would look like ?color=red-or-green instead of /color-red-or-green/
Also, you can configure your caching plugin with wildcards so that it caches pages like site.com/shop/* and everything after /shop should not be cached.
Best Regards,
Victor
That worked. Thank you very much for your quick support! Best regards, Sven
Is it possible to allow multiple selections from a Dropdown box using Ctrl? It seems like it ought to be possible, since the plugin will let users make multiple selections using a Labels list.
Hi dsumner
Unfortunately, there is no dropdown with multiple selections out of the box. You can check this comment thread with a workaround: https://codecanyon.net/comments/31087418

Hi, is it possible to disable Ajax for certain filters or to require the “Apply” button to reload the page?
I use Ajax for many filters, but now I have one where I’d like to disable the function and use the “Apply” button instead.
Best Mandy
Hi Mandy
Yes, it is possible, but only with a hook and custom code.
Please check this comment thread: https://codecanyon.net/item/filter-everything-wordpress-woocommerce-filter/31634508/comments?page=104&filter=all#comment_30984512
It contains all the information along with a code example.

Thank you very much! It works!
Hi,
Why i dont see products showing at the attributes? I have the attributes filled on my products but everywhere in the filter i see 0, why is that?

Hi amandomm
Fusion Builder is most likely using unique queries on each page, so what you need to do is place the filter set on the exact page and select the correct query in the “And what to filter” dropdown.

Hi, i remove my old staging site, and now i’ve created a new one. When I try to enter the plugin’s license, it tells me that the 2 licenses are alread in use. How can I fix that?
Hi intimamosshop
Please send the license key you are using for activation via PM: https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support so we can deactivate it across all the sites.
Best Regards,
Victor
All done! The license has been deactivated across all the sites.
Please try activating the license on the required sites now.
Best Regards, Victor
Hello, even after updating the plugin, it says the license is not active. This happen in a website in production, and it’s a problem How can I solve it?
Hi Afrirho
Please follow the instructions on this page: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/license-key-issues/ to get the license key.
Then go to Filters > Settings > License tab, enter the acquired license key from the guide, and click the Activate button. If it doesn’t work, please let us know what error message you receive when you click the Activate License button.
Best Regards,
Victor
Sorry but the “license” tab does not exist in my version
Are you using the plugin on a WordPress multisite? Or are you using the free version of the plugin on the site?
Best Regards,
Victor
wordpress multisite, pro version
In that case, you need to activate it only on the main site in order to make it work. On WP multisite setup, the plugin must be installed and activated on the main site; it will then be automatically activated across the rest of the sites.
Best Regards,
Victor
thank you, clear, could you please remind me where to find the license ? I only see the Item Purchase Code. Thanks
It is important to keep in mind that the License key and CodeCanyon purchase code are two different things.
Please use incognito mode in your browser!!!
In order to set the License key for the Filter Everything PRO plugin, simply head to Filters -> Settings -> License and click the “Get your License Key” button.
It will take you to a new page where you have to log in with your Envato credentials (with an account where you have purchased the plugin) and obtain your License key.
Best Regards,
Victor
Thanks Victor!
Hit there, Filters are working correctly except one problem; The page numbers at the bottom of the filter results on the first page have a narrow, strange font, and there are no dark blocks behind the other page numbers. This is correct on subsequent pages, but not on the first page. How can this be fixed?
Hi vandermeerlinda
Please send the link to the page with the issue so that we can check it. Also, attach the step-by-step instructions on how we can replicate the described issue on that page.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor, this is the link to the page: https://tankcon.com/our-stock/
This issue is not related to the plugin at all. It is connected to your theme or page builder styles.
Best Regards,
Victor
That’s what I thought too, but if I use the “loadmore” button instead of page numbers, the first filtered page still shows the page numbers, and the “loadMore” button appears on subsequent pages. However, this button doesn’t work; the filtered results aren’t expanded to show more products.
Try to turn off our plugin from the Plugins section in the WP-Admin dashboard, and then check the page with the pagination.

Victor
Hello,
I was building my website in a local server (XAMPP) and activated my Filter Everything Pro license there. Later, I accidentally duplicated a filter which caused an error, so I decided to restart the project from scratch.
The problem is that now, when I try to activate my license on the new installation, I get the message that it is already in use on another site. However, that previous local project no longer exists and has already been removed.
Could you please help me reset or release my license so I can activate it again on my current installation?
Thank you very much in advance for your support.
Hi jdavelouis
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Please send the license key (the one you used to activate the plugin) via PM: https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support
So we can deactivate it across all the sites where it is currently being used.
Best Regards,
Victor
I have the plugin installed, i copy and paste the code to see the filter in my sidebar, https://tophardwaresupply.com/shop
pleaes advice or send me steps on how to show the filter on my website
Hi wak0
So basically, you need to do two things:
1) Create a filter set with the filters and assign it either to “Common WordPress pages + Shop page” or “Pages + Shop page”, depending on your setup. (Test with both settings)
2) Use the filters widget on the page, or place the shortcode [fe_widget] inside a text block widget or shortcode block, depending on how you’re building the page.
However, we are unable to visit the page to check it. We tried accessing it with and without a VPN, but we still can’t enter. It either has some extra security measures in place or is blocking access from countries that are not on the allowed list.

Victor
Hi there,
the item can’t filter my custom post type as wanted and is not showing the right query selection for my page. Its just not working as i thought it would work :/ also its loading way to long. I couldn’t check before purchasing because i could not insert the filter of the free version to my page.
Because of that i would like to get a refund on my purchase (purchase code 204709416).
is that possibly?
Thanks and best regards mary
Hi Mary
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
We are sorry to hear that. Can you please provide more detailed information about the issue? If the posts on the page are displayed via WP_Query, they should be filterable. What exact problem did you face when you chose the query, and what indicates that it is “not showing the right query selection for my page”? This is a fully dynamic process that displays all available queries on the chosen page.
Also, please clarify this statement: “It’s just not working as I thought it would work :/ also it’s loading way too long.” Can you please describe how you were expecting it to work? It might be achievable if you can describe your expectations. Additionally, what do you mean by “loading way too long”? Is it during filtering, when entering the page, or in another situation?
Perhaps we can make it work exactly as you’re expecting if you can provide the all information.
Best Regards,
Victor
hi victor,
as its a public chat here i cant share to many details
I have one raster-element with my products (custom post type) on my page.
In the filter-settings i can choose between 215 different product-querys.
For testing i just added “Brand” as a filter and then chose a random query from the 215 different ones. 1. its showing brands that are not in my system (dont know where from) – the build in wordpress filter does not show them 2. If i choose a filter (a brand) and click apply the loading process for the page with the results takes a long thime and then not showing any right results. My raster-element looks still exactly the same after the filter process.
If i do that with the wordpress raster-filter then i get just the products from brand xyz. So i think your plugin is just not working with my settings and i have to look for another possibility or work with the wordpress-filter.
Best regards, Mary
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
You can even set up a staging site for us so we can take a look. We haven’t encountered such a case before, so it would be helpful to see what type of plugin or theme is providing this functionality and how it’s working. Also, please attach the link to the exact page with these elements so we can check it right away and work on a solution.
Best Regards,
Victor
i just sent the credentials
and some more information to the page
Can you please send us the page passwords as well via PM?
So far, we tested it on the page we created: /fe_test_page_fe_sup/ and placed the filter set there, everything is working there and is quite fast. However, we’re not sure if it contains the same elements as the page you’re referring to. Because it requires a password to be visible, all we can see is this: https://prnt.sc/9p646kUJnWMh
Best Regards,
Victor
ok got it, it just works if you use the element “Beitragsliste” and not “Rasterelement”
Now i got the problem that its not filtering the products – do i have to change something else?
https://cts-bayern.de/produkte-filter-test/ PW: produktfilter!Test12 (its not a secret page ;))If i filter for example for “Tisch” – it should just show 4 Elements but still shows all products Same if i filter for the different “Hersteller”
Hi kammama4missimo
Thank you.
First, you need to correct the data in the database:
https://prnt.sc/WCZS0N9hz9JH — the site link in the database is different from the one in the site settings: https://prnt.sc/us1VSbG4_iK0Because of this, you’re getting mixed content issues on the site: https://prnt.sc/YotVQC3Fuoiv which is causing problems with filtering.
Let us know once it’s fixed so we can continue right away.
Best Regards,
Victor
Update on the last response: we got the filter working on the page. Previously, we hadn’t noticed that you had two filter sets on the same page, so we needed to click the “Update” button on both to make it work.
Best Regards,
Victor
thank you
Now it works
How to get the Sort button in the mobile filter pop-up botton?
Hi Outsole
The sorting widget is a separate widget and is not included in the filters. The mobile widget is used only for the filters themselves. The sorting widget, as a separate entity, should remain independent. Just like the default WooCommerce filters and sorting options are separated, this separation is intentional and follows best practices. You can see this approach across many websites.

Victor
Hello.
Please take a look at the page at https://staging.mullenresidences.org/floor-plans/ where I have installed the pro version of FE.
When you hover over the image, you can view the tooltip. When you click on the image, it opens the full image in a light box.
However, when you filter (for example, choosing “Downtown” in the filter), there is no longer the tooltip, and you can no longer click the image. Removing the filter does not help either. Only reloading the site works to get these options back.
Can you please assist?
Hi CLC-CappellaMarketing
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
This issue is happening because there is some JavaScript code that controls the behavior of the postcards. However, this code is not AJAX-compatible by default. It doesn’t matter whether our page updates the posts via AJAX or if another plugin does. It won’t apply the JavaScript functionality to the newly loaded elements because the code only adds event listeners on the initial page load. That’s why everything works again after a full page refresh.
What you can do is check this page: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/ajax-instructions-only/#ajax_related_problems
At the bottom of the page, there is a code wrapper that you can use for your JavaScript code responsible for modifying the postcards and making it AJAX-compatible.

Hello,
I’m very happy with the plugin, but unfortunately the loading times are very slow. Especially when a second filter term is set. Unfortunately, I can’t enable AJAX with my WordPress theme (Savoy), so the page has to reload every time. That wouldn’t be a problem, but filtering should be faster. I’m already using SEO-friendly URLs. How can I speed up the filter?
My shop: ipc-core.de
Hi dschille
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
The filtering speed mainly depends on the server hardware. What we noticed on your site is that when we select the first filter term, it filters quickly. However, when we select another one, it takes longer. But if we uncheck those filter terms and try again, it filters quickly. It seems like there is some sort of caching; after selecting filter terms, the pages are cached and then load faster. So, it fully relies on the server configuration and optimizations. However, with the number of products on your site, none of that should be necessary. We tested it with 1,000 products on a single-core CPU and 512 MB RAM, and it performed very well. You need to check your hosting and server configuration, and consider using OPcache.
Best Regards,
Victor
Thanks for the quick reply. I’m using WPRocket as my page cache. This caches the filter URLs as soon as they’re accessed. It’s faster afterward. But not all conceivable filter options can be cached. Unfortunately, my provider doesn’t offer OPcache. Are there any other options?
Well, if you’re limited by server hardware, hosting features, and theme limitations, the optimizations will not cover it all, it won’t matter which option you choose. It will still work based on the server capabilities. When you select a filter term, the filtering speed depends entirely on how long it takes to get a response from the server. If the server response takes 10 seconds, the filtering will take 10 seconds. If it takes 0.01 seconds, the filtering will be just as fast.

Victor
Hi. I could email you a screenshot if needed, but the license key for my subscription is showing up as invalid when I know it isn’t. 8decde96-1b85-47a4-a8c3-8947744cfc99 This is for learningacademy.com
Hi techsupport75
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Please follow the instructions on this page: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/license-key-issues/ to get the license key.

Our filter on a category doesn’t show in a particular language. On other language it’s fine. Any other filter does work without issues. It’s our most important category, priority is high…
Never mind, solved it. Our pro license was not connected somehow.
Hi Outsole
We are glad to hear that the issue was resolved.

Victor
Hello, I purchase the Filter Everything about a year now and I downloaded the latest version from my download. The plugins says it is locked so I download the latest 1.9 and purchase the support license and I was able to activate the license key, but when I went to the Filter Set all of my filter I have before are gone. I create them again and now when I go edit the page using Elementor but the Filter Everything Widget is not showing. Note this is happening on the live site. Right now I don’t have the filter.
Can you please direct me to what am I missing or let me know what I should do. I appreciate the help. Thank you.
Hi nicetazmenia
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
When updating the plugin, all you need to do is download the new version. Without deleting the old one, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the downloaded ZIP file, and select the option to replace the old version with the new one. This way, all of your filters will be preserved.
The filters widget in Elementor is located under the WordPress section when you’re editing a page. On the left side, there are different widget sections, Filter Everything – Filters is the filters widget. Please note that the Elementor search will not find it.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hello, That is exactly what I did, but even before I updated the plugins the filter is not showing anymore and that is where I check the filter and there is no filter set and that is when I notice that I can’t make edit to the filter because it is locked. That is when I purchase the support to get the key activated. For the Filter Everything widget, I remember that I was using the sidebar and not directly in Elementor. From the side bar The Brand Filter Sidebar, but the Filter Everything is not showing. When I first install it before it was easy and I did not have any problem. Now I don’t understand why Filter recreated is not showing.
Hi nicetazmenia
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Also, please attach the link to the exact page where you want to display your filters, so we can check it and place the filters on that page.

Hello,
i want to kindly ask for a refund. it seems that our website project for the latest purchase of the Pro Version makes not use of it. This is the 2nd pro purchase i did but the latest was my fault.
How can i get a refund?
Kind regards, Pedro
Hi Pedro
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
We are sorry to hear that. In general, a refund is possible by submitting a form through the account where the plugin was purchased and waiting for a response. Please note that the support team does not handle refunds. Furthermore, we have no control over the refund team and cannot speed up the process or influence it in any way.

Hi,
We’re having an issues since updating to the latest version. All our plugins, themes and Woo + Wordpress versions are updated to the latest. However, we get this issue into our PHP logs. This is the error/warning in the logs:
Sun Aug 17 09:49:18.248015 2025 pid 52315:tid 139749301872384 [host OURDOMAIN.nl] Backend log: PHP Warning: Undefined array key “view” in /home/99999/domains/OURDOMAIN.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/filter-everything-pro/src/Entities/EntityManager.php on line 937\n
The issue itself causes a continues ‘Error establishing database connection’ error. We’ve disabled the plugin entirely and our website is working back to normal.
What might cause this issue?
Hi cdollen
Please check the response in this comment thread: https://codecanyon.net/comments/31671727 it includes a manual fix for this error.
Best Regards,
Victor
I HAVE ALREADY DISABLED THE PLUGIN AND ALSO SENT THE FTP FILEZILLA CREDENTIALS.
Hi samuelb158
We’ve finished testing everything, all done and working correctly. First, we modified the code to avoid the fatal error, then deleted the plugin from the plugin section in the admin dashboard, and finally installed a clean version of the plugin.
The issue was caused by broken filters, which occurred because the attributes they were based on had been removed from the Attributes section. This caused the filters to return a “boolean false” instead of an array, leading to a fatal error on the site.
We can perform the same on your live site. You’ll just need to deactivate the plugin and send the access credentials. We’ll then add everything necessary to safely remove the plugin and its data, allowing you to create clean filters afterward without any issues.
If you delete the plugin via FTP only, the broken filters will remain in the database, and reactivating the plugin will trigger the same fatal error.
Best Regards,
Victor
