1. Smart Hospital: all licences come with lifetime validity and lifetime free updates. That means you don’t have to pay anything in the future to use Smart Hospital, and also all future updates will be delivered to you free of cost, so you don’t have to pay for future updates.

Smart Hospital upcoming update 6.0 will be released in a few days, and also with the upcoming update there are some add-ons that will also be released, i.e., Multibranch, QR Code Attendance and 2FA, and these add-ons will not be part of the Smart Hospital purchase, and to use them you have to purchase them separately from Codecanyon, and each of these add-ons probably costs $49, so please wait for the release.

Please note that if you are asking for multiple departments like IPD, OPD, etc., then it is free to use, but if you want to use Smart Hospital for multiple hospitals/branches and want to integrate your different Smart Hospital installations under a single admin, then you can use the Multibranch add-on of Smart Hospital, so please wait for the release of Multibranch.

You can manage a single hospital using a regular licence. The Smart Hospital regular licence allows you to use Smart Hospital for a single hospital/branch/end/client, but for customer convenience, registering Smart Hospital allows you to register the Smart Hospital licence code on up to 3 URLs, e.g., 1. For localhost, 2. For the testing environment, and 3. For your production URL (the testing and production URLs should be on the same domain). Otherwise you can purchase an extended licence which allows you to use a single licence purchase code for unlimited URLs/domains/branches/clients/ends.

A regular licence allows you to use Smart Hospital for a single hospital/domain/URL/installation, but an extended licence allows you to use Smart Hospital for unlimited hospitals/domains/URLs/installations. An extended licence is a one-time investment for your smart hospital to install and use for unlimited hospitals

2. Yes, you can host Smart Hospital on any leading cPanel-based shared hosting provider such as A2 Hosting, HostGator, FastComet, or InMotion. However, we do not recommend Hostinger due to repeated issues (file extraction failures, file manager not updating files reliably) and GoDaddy due to script-related printing issues. Smart Hospital does not require a VPS unless you manage a very large number of patients.

You can also run Smart Hospital offline on a local computer without internet access and configure it for use within a local LAN network. After purchase, we will guide you through the setup process so you can install it on your local server, connect it with other PCs, and access it within your LAN.

For general usage with around 1,000 patients, we recommend a server with at least 4 GB RAM and 2 vCPUs, although many clients successfully run systems for 1,000+ patients and staff on standard shared hosting without issues. Since there are not many users or staff, performance is not heavily dependent on user count; however, if your system stores or processes a large amount of data, you may require more hardware resources. As performance depends on multiple factors, we suggest scaling your hosting infrastructure based on your actual requirements.

For your every branch Smart Hospital you can start using Smart Hospital on any professional linux shared hosting like fastcomet, inmotion etc etc. further if there is too much (1000+) patient admit in your hospital then we will suggest you to switch on cloud hosting providers like amazon web services, google cloud platform, digitalocean etc. In a general use for 1000 patients we will recommend at least 4GB Ram and 2 VCPU server. 3.Unfortunately, Smart Hospital does not have NABH compliance features.

If you require NABH-compliant patient registers, logs, reports, or customized print formats for NABH inspection, then you can implemented through cutsomization. With smart Hospital purchase you will get complete source code so if you want you can customize Smart Hospital for your required features. Smart Hospital built on PHP CodeIgniter framework so any developer who has some experience in PHP CodeIgniter can easily customize Smart Hospital and we provide small customization on availability for we provide small customisations based on the availability of developer resources. There is no option available in admin panel to temper audit logs (time-stamped with user ID,) however anyone can temper it or any data if they have access to your database tables.

Yes, you can enable or disable modules such as IPD, OPD, etc., from Setup > Settings > Modules in Smart Hospital, based on your hospital’s requirements.

Currently, the Smart Hospital Android App does not include an API or native integration method for interfacing with laboratory devices or PACS. However we will try to add it in upcoming updates of Smart Hospital

Smart Hospital Android App admin app is under development and it will take time to release. Also note that currently Smart Hospital mobile app is only available for android and Smart Hospital iOS app is under development and it will take time to release. iOS app was under development as native iOS app but since many versions its lagging to release so finally we have decided to move both android and iOS app development using flutter, so single code base can be use to manage both android and iOS app but it will take time to release flutter based iOS app.

So we have plan to release flutter app first which is expected to release in few months and then we will release admin app for it.

We suggest integrating the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standard into Smart Hospital. FHIR enables secure and standardized medical data exchange (patients, encounters, prescriptions, results, imaging) across facilities and third-party applications. This would support a shared medical record, improve interoperability with other healthcare systems, and prepare the platform for national digital health projects.

Currently in Smart Hospital, the rounding-off option is not available while billing; however, if we get sufficient requests for this feature, then we will try to add it in upcoming future updates of Smart Hospital.

Unfortunately we don’t recommend and provide support to use Smart Hospital on Windows IIS web server, If you will check then LAMP ) environment is best suits for PHP based application so we will suggest to setup LAMP ((Linux apache MySQL PHP)) using Ubantu Linux OS but we will never recommend to use IIS web server for PHP application because IIS server implementation for PHP application is just experimental and not recommended for production use.

Yes you can host Smart Hospital on windows server (which supports php & mysql) too but its not recommended. If you will host Smart Hospital on windows IIS server then you have to configure url rewriting rules as per IIS web.config where Smart Hospital uses .htaccess file which has url rewriting rules for apache web server. For best performance and all features availability it is recommended to use Smart Hospital on Linux based apache web server.
