Hello, Sorry for the delayed response here.
As of now, you can only manage the status of the payment as either Due/Partial/Paid.
Further, you can also add a pay term so that it shows as Overdue if not paid up to that time.
Feature specific to installment is not available as of now.
Is it possible to record a sale of a past date?

Please create complete documentation for ZATCA live and simulation mode connectivity, including the full procedure. Also, please check with your team or any customer who has taken screenshots or documented the process.
Now, referring to the attached screenshot, I have the following questions and confusions:

1- Where should I fill in the correct CR name if I have only one business? 2- If I have multiple businesses under one CR, how should I fill this field? 3- Please change “CRN” to “CR Number” or “Commercial Registration Number”. 4- What does “VAT Name” mean? 5- What is meant by “Plot Identification”?
The attached address details and the onboarding form do not match the field names. For example, “Registered Address” is shown as “Short Address.” Why was the name changed from “Registered Address” to “Short Address”? Please keep the field names consistent, as this is confusing and we do not know which backend field is linked to ZATCA. If we enter incorrect information, it could cause problems. I need answers to these questions urgently because I need to connect one business to ZATCA Phase 2 before next month.

Iwould like a clarification regarding invoice number generation when converting a quotation (or draft/proforma) into a final invoice.
Scenario:
I have set the prefix for drafts/quotations as `”Q-”` in the invoice scheme. I have also set a different prefix for final invoices, which is `”I-”`, under the invoice scheme assigned to the appropriate business location.
When I create a quotation or draft, it correctly assigns an invoice number like `Q-0001`.
However, when I update the status of that document to “Proforma Invoice” or “Final Invoice”, the invoice number remains as `Q-0001` — the prefix does not change to `”I-”` as expected for a finalized invoice.
My expectation:
Upon updating the status to a final invoice or proforma invoice via actions or by editing the status, the system should:
Automatically assign a new invoice number Use the “I-” prefix from the invoice scheme configured for that location
My question:
1. Is this the expected behavior in Ultimate POS? If so, is there a recommended way to regenerate or assign a proper invoice number with the correct prefix (`”I-”`) when a draft/quotation is converted to a final invoice?
2. If possible add an action to convert to invoice directly, when status is quotation or proforma

As we normally move in to web sytem from traditional desktop softwares, our employees are more convenient with keyboard only functionality(avoid mouse on pos screen), so can you say me how to provide below functionality for our employees on UltimatePOS system.
When a product is added to product list on POS screen, we want to auto focus on the last added item quantity field automatically, the vaue must be selected automatically, then if cashier wants to do any changes he changes the value or else do nothing and presses enter, then the cursor focuses back to scan products field.
This enhances and fast our billing process. Also provide us a desktop software like feeling.

I know you’re working hard on many things to increase the productivity and efficiency of this system.
Could you let me know if you have any plans to update this system to
1. Latest laravel version(version 12) 2. Move from mix to vite 3. Fully tailwind based system 4. Move models in app/Models namespaces
in near future.
You can achieve mostly all upgrades using laravel shift I think, because even if this process takes some time, I think with the experince your team has on this system and Laravel architecture, upgrading above features must not be that hard I hope.
However upgrading above features can drastically add more security fixes, enhanced customizability, Increase in speed, efficiency and eloquent database handling.
Like to know your team decision on this as a well wisher and a happy client of this system.

I wanted to customize some views using “custom_views” option to match our business design and we are familiar with tailwind css, but I see you have added tailwind classes inside CSS > tailwind > app.css
however I don’t understand how you have added, because inside the file I see a mix of tailwind classes, and some classes which starts with “tw-”.
Can you please give a small explanation how this works. So, we can work on our customizations.
It would be better if you can add tailwind using vite in next update. so, by default we can use any tailwind classes.

Hi quick question. We have a cashiers using the system and they are allowed to give a max discount of 10% Say for example the current customers deserves 15% discount. In our old POS it would allow the manager to use a pin or swipe a card which allowed them to increase the discount as there were assigned a higher discount than that of the cashier. How can we implement this in your script as it is very important. To summarize, we need the manager to be able to override the current sale by entering a pin and making the change to the discount.
