We have sent you a support request via email. Thanks in advance.
Hello,
Please check your inbox, I’ve replied to your email.
Thank you
Hi! Would it be possible to add a Directions link/button to the info box? Thanks!
Hello,
Yes this is possible to do with the plugin.
Thank you for your interest
Are the Google Maps direction URLs generated automatically, or do we need to enter them manually?
Hello,
Yes, you need to enter the URL manually. However, if the URL is stored in a custom field in your database, you can configure the infobox to retrieve it automatically by specifying the name of that custom field.
Thank you
We have sent you a support request via email. Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I’ve just sent you a reply via email. Feel free to check and get back to me if needed.
Thank you
Pre-purchase question! Can i replace google maps with one or multiple images… So when there’s one main image of a location that we designed and then when we click on that image it ends up opening another image and showing the shops we have in that zoomed in location?
Hello,
Apologies for the delayed response. The plugin does support adding custom images on top of the map, and you can see it in action here: https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/ground-overlays/render-images-on-the-map/
However, what you’re asking for might go beyond the capabilities of our image feature. While you can layer images on top of each other, they will all be visible when the map loads, and they might not function in the way you need. I recommend checking out our demo to see if it could work for your requirements.
Thank you
Hello, Having the same problem as GHSmediaSrl
“As you can see on your demo page (https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/layouts/map-with-carousel-on-top/), after refreshing the page (with cache enabled and using the latest version of Chrome), for example at a browser window width of around 1500px, the carousel items do not align side by side. Instead, each item takes up the full width of the carousel container.”
For me, I’ve this new troubleshooting on diffferents websites and configurations; you can have a look here for example : https://www.cameraonboard.fr/fr/plongee-worldwide-itineraire/
What can I do ? thanks
Specially with google chrome
And “Zooming to Countries Settings” isn’t woking at all (the countries list doesn’t open)
Hello,
This issue is related to the width of the map’s container and the screen size. It appears there’s a problem with calculating the exact width of the carousel items, especially on larger screens. I plan to address this in a future update.
In the meantime, a temporary workaround is to slightly adjust the width of the map’s container. If you’re using a page builder plugin, try adding or removing a few pixels of padding or margin around the map container and test again.
I hope this helps! Let me know if it resolves the issue.
Regarding the “Zooming to countries” feature, could you please enable it on your map so I can test it and identify the issue? Let me know once it’s activated.
Thank you for your patience
Ok thanks ; I have enabled again the “zooming to countries” here : https://www.cameraonboard.fr/fr/plongee-worldwide-itineraire/
I meet another problem : “faceted search”, “zooming to countries” etc stay open everytime, although I ticked the case “close”. exemple here : https://www.expeditiondegypte.fr/carnet-de-route-jollois/
Another problem too : In this page, you have a carrousel resizing not working on mobile : the size of the item texts is to big for smartphone, without resizing, or scrolling bar.
Hello,
Regarding the first site, it seems the issue might be related to a CSS conflict. To investigate further, please send your site login details to plugin.progressmap@gmail.com and make sure to include your username (chateauxforts) in your message.
As for the second site, I recommend updating the plugin to the latest version, which now includes a responsive carousel feature.
Please note that an active support license is required to continue receiving assistance.
Thank you for your understanding
Does this have the ability to zoom out farther? I have the min zoom set to “0” but it only zooms out about the size of a country. I was hoping to use this as a world map with the ability to see the whole world or at least entire continents. Just curious if it had this capability or not. Thank you
Nevermind… it must have been the cache, a setting, or maybe a simple glitch but it is working now. Thank you for this plugin, it is working great for our needs!
Hello,
I have encountered an issue with the carousel when using the “Horizontal View” layout.
As you can see on your demo page (https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/layouts/map-with-carousel-on-top/), after refreshing the page (with cache enabled and using the latest version of Chrome), for example at a browser window width of around 1500px, the carousel items do not align side by side. Instead, each item takes up the full width of the carousel container.
I have uploaded a screenshot showing the problem here: https://snipboard.io/yALrFg.jpg
Could you please check this issue?
Thank you!
This is happening also for https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/layouts/map-left-carousel-right/
Here the screenshot: https://snipboard.io/medG80.jpg

Just to let you know, I reviewed your screenshots, but I’m not experiencing the same issue on my end, likely because my screen width is below 1500px.
Thank you for your patience
Hello, any news about this?
Hello,
I’m still working on a major update, which will also include the fixes for this issue.
Thank you for your understanding
Hello, when do you think this update will be released?
Hello codespacing, my work is about to be released and there is still this issue. In addition my license for updates is about to expire in less than a month and after that i won’t be able to update your fixes, is that correct?
Is it possible to have the markers filter display BELOW the map? I’m hoping to use it as a replacement for list and filter and find it hard to navigate the map with the filter overlayed. Thx!
Also: I’m trying to figure out how I can limit the results in a map AND filter down to taxonomy:categories:(specific category). For instance, I created a map specifically for the category “wineries” and the map displays just those results. BUT in the “list & filer” & “markers filter, the filters display ALL counties in the state, rather than just counties that have wineries. How can adjust a “relation” to limit those lists without having to make wineries its own taxonomy or custom field? Thx!!
Hello,
Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately, positioning the filter below the map is not currently supported.
As for limiting the taxonomy terms in the filters, I recommend referring to the following guides to achieve this:
1. List & Filter: https://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspml_guide/search-filter-settings/filter-posts-by-taxonomies/
2. Markers filter: https://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspmmf_guide/filter-markers-by-taxonomies/
In both guides, you can try enabling the “Hide empty terms” option to show only the terms that are assigned to posts displayed on the map.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for your patience
Hi there.
I have an issue that I am trying to resolve.
In the infobox under the title it displays code like this: [et_pb_section fb_built=”1” module_id=”the_team” _builder_version=”4.27…
Here is the link to the map: https://capproperties.ca/availabilities/I am just wondering how to easily change this text for each marker entry.
Thank you again for your help in this matter.
I solved this issue on my own in two ways by researching this Support thread:
Issue 1 – It was an issues with my Siteground Caching Plugin.
Issue 2 – I used the excerpt section to override this content.
Hello,
I’m glad you’ve managed to find the solution.
Thank you
We previously inquired about the issue with being unable to edit using this plugin. You had suggested increasing the memory limit to 256MB; however, even after increasing it to 512MB, the issue persists. Could you please advise us on how we might resolve this?
Hello,
I’d like to take a look at your site to identify the issue. Please send the login credentials to plugin.progressmap@gmail.com and make sure to include your username (ticketg) in the message.
Thank you
Hello I’ve sent a private email regarding my issue. Thank you
Hello,
I’m glad you got the map working!

Hello,
I recently purchased the plugin and two add-ons and created a map on my WordPress website. My problem is that the map’s filter functions (Filter Add-on) aren’t working. As soon as I set a filter, a loading bar appears (Loading…) and stays on the screen the entire time. Can you help me?
The website I’m testing it on is:
www.dirtycrazy.com/berlin-map
How can I proceed?
Best regards
Hello,
I’ve just checked your site and tested both the map and the filters, and everything appears to be working perfectly. I couldn’t find any issues with the filters.
It’s possible this might be a caching issue on your end. Please try clearing your site cache and browser cache, then test it again.
Let me know if the issue persists after that.
Thank you
Hi Team – I’m experiencing an issue where the map does not display on the live site. The blue loading bar at the top reaches the end, but the loader keeps spinning indefinitely.
Things I Noticed: The map loads correctly in the dashboard but not on the live site.
Troubleshooting Steps I’ve Tried: Deactivated all plugins.
Switched to the default theme.
Tested with both Gutenberg and Elementor using the shortcode widget.
Confirmed there is no script minifier on the website.

Bonjour, Hope you are well.
Can you please confirm if it’s possible to display the results below the map randomly? So as not to always display the same results on the first page Currently, I think the results are displayed by date or ID.
Thank you in advance for your feedback. Sincerely,
Hello,
Yes, it’s possible to display map locations in random order. Please refer to this guide to learn how: https://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/query-settings/display-posts-in-a-random-order/
Thank you
Thanks for your answer, perfect. Have a nice day

why can’t I create a new map?my all maps are still working, but when I create a new map, after click the published button, the page is empty.Old map also can’t get into the change page.
Hello,
If you’re having trouble saving your map settings, it’s likely due to server configuration limits restricting data processing. This often happens when PHP settings prevent larger data inputs from being saved correctly.
Please check this guide to learn how to resolve the issue: https://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/troubleshooting/fix-the-issue-where-settings-cannot-be-saved/
Hope this helps!
Thank you
Hello, I followed the instructions of the guide “Make the plugin GDPR/DSGVO compliance”. And it does block the map but the buttons to accept it/make the map load do not show! Please let me know how to fix this. The latest version of the plugin is installed.
regards, Matthias
Hello,

Is there a calendar plugin that is recommended for progress map compatibility? Or does codespacing offer any filtering by date/time etc? Thx!
Hello,
I haven’t tested Progress Map with a calendar plugin, but if you’re looking for ways to filter locations, you might want to check out the “Markers Filter” add-on. However, please note that it doesn’t include a date/time filter (which I understand doesn’t fully answer your question). If you’re interested in a general filtering solution for your locations, here’s the link: https://codespacing.com/markers-filter-demos/general-overview/
Thank you
With RankMath i have an issues RankMath has send the following line:
issue is coming from the Progress Map by CodeSpacing (codespacing-progress-map) plugin. They have a custom implementation of the cmb2-conditionals library that is causing this issue.
Hello,
Could you please share more details about the issue you’re experiencing with our plugin?
I’d be more than happy to assist you further, but I kindly ask you to consider renewing your support. This will ensure you continue to benefit from dedicated assistance and make the most out of the plugin.
Your understanding and support mean a great deal to us.
Hi, my listings are not visible beside the map. I have done all settings with the plugin and its adds on, still it’s empty. Could you please take a look at it? https://flyttealliansen.no/flyttebyraer Thanks.
Hello,
I reviewed your map settings, and the reason you can’t see the locations, despite successfully adding them, is due to the “Query Settings”. These settings limit the displayed locations based on categories and title filters.
Please double-check your map’s query settings. Try clearing all fields under “Categories”, “Tags”, “Posts to retrieve”, and “Posts not to retrieve”, then refresh the map. Once all locations appear, you can experiment with the query settings to understand how they work and determine the best configuration for your map.
For more details on query settings, please refer to this guides: https://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/query-settings/
Thank you
Hi, I have the map plugin and the list and filter. How can I show the publish date inside the post description and infobox? Now it only displays the title and the excerpt, how can I customize this. I don’t understand the instructions provided on this page https://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/infoboxes-settings/build-a-custom-content-from-custom-fields-and-or-categories-for-the-infoboxes/ and i didn’t find anything else related to my issue.
Hello,
The post publish date cannot be displayed using the shortcodes mentioned in that documentation guide. However, if you’re planning to create more complex custom content, I recommend following the approach detailed in this guide instead: https://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/tutorials/programmatically-change-the-content-of-the-carousel-items/
This method allows you to programmatically generate any type of description you need. Here’s an example:
function my_custom_carousel_description($default_content, $post_id) {
$custom_content = '';
// Get post publish date
$publish_date = get_the_date('F j, Y', $post_id);
// Get post excerpt
$post_excerpt = get_the_excerpt($post_id);
// Build the custom content
$custom_content .= '<strong>Published on: </strong>' . $publish_date . '<br />';
$custom_content .= '<strong>Excerpt: </strong>' . $post_excerpt . '<br />';
return $custom_content;
}
add_filter('cspm_custom_item_description', 'my_custom_carousel_description', 10, 2);
Add this code to the “functions.php” file of your theme to test how it works.
I hope this helps
Thank you
Thank you.
