Hello, yes, just not possible once auction has ended (since it will not reactivate it).
Is it also possible to not change the auctioned product during the auction? This is our preferred option.
Website administrator can do that ofcourse since it has access to db so there is no way to prevent this. But if no one touches it during auction it should be all fine.
Hello, You mention your plugin Simple Auctions is compatible with Dokan. But only Dokan Free version correct? Since it does not include the Auction plugin they make? My understanding is if I buy Dokan Business it comes with their own Auctions plugin so there is no reason to buy yours and it would never work?

Hi, Dokan made auction integration so only version of Dokan that has it integrated will support auction custom product type.
It will not work in Dokan free version.

there is no special feature for that, but when live bidding is done your client can create “live user bid” user and place bid from auction room directly to auction posted on website along with other online bidders.
If bidder from live auction room wins the auction then this will be stated on website and payment / delivery will be arranged in live auction room with bidder.
So, yes, it is possible to have such use case with our plugin.
Live stream can be included in auction description using YouTube integration (iframe or plugin) so yes, that is possible too.

My client typically runs around 100 auctions, all ending at the same time with the possibility of overtime. He has between 400-500 users, and we always anticipate a surge of bids as the auctions close.
Would you be able to estimate the required CPU, memory, and number of PHP workers so that I can better understand the right server setup and its associated costs? Goal is to provide the user a fast and smooth experience without interruptions.

any decent hosting will do, we always suggest proper dedicated server or good cloud solution. Key thing here is how many concurrent bidders are there.
Modern CPU with 4 cores (CPU running @ 3.5+ ghz) , 16GB – 32GB memory and SSD drive should do, but it all depends on how lean is whole website etc. If you want more detailed advice please drop us email at info@wpgenie.org

Hi, it is possible, but if page reload takes 10 sec, ajax request will also take that long despite page not being reloaded. You need to check why do you get such long response and possibly get better hosting or optimize your website.
Yes we checked, its due to email sent to admin and user when bid is clicked by user. When we removed the email notifications from woocommerce, page load below 3 secs. How is it possible,any customs code?
SMTP server you use causes that delay, please contact your hosting support to research this further.

Hi, our auction plugin has meant to be used on single website not on netowork of websites hence wpmu not supported.
I saw that you wrote to someone here in the posts that if they need to solve this, they should write to support. So I would like to be informed about what to do to make it work. Dokan does not work with WordPress multisite setup, but you can utilize it on a single site within your multisite network. It means you need to keep the Dokan plugin deactivated from the network mode and activate it on the site where you want to use it.
