Hi, I want to know if Bookly Pro includes Stripe payments without needing to purchase an add-on. The information on the website is confusing. It says that Stripe payment is included, but there is also a Stripe add-on for sale. Thanks.

I just wanted to clarify how Bookly works with scheduling. It’s all set up on a weekly basis, so when you create schedules for your staff members, those schedules remain consistent week after week. The time slots available in the booking form are based on these schedules, and how the hours are divided and displayed in the form depends on the time slot length you’ve chosen.

Each staff member has their own unique schedule. When a customer books a specific time slot for a service with a staff member, that staff member becomes unavailable for that time slot for any other services. For example, if Superstar is booked for Service Awesome on Tuesday at 10 am, she won’t be available for any other services at that time. Likewise, other customers won’t be able to book service Awesome at that specific time, unless another staff member is assigned to provide that service.

The add-ons https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/add-ons/ are designed to provide extra flexibility and features to Bookly Pro. To use these add-ons, you’ll need to have Bookly Pro installed and activated, as they complement the main Bookly Pro plugin. When you install them, your booking form will look just like the demo.

Hi there, first off, we love the plugin, but ran into an issue and was hoping you could help us out. We purchased the Pro version so we could add more staff and services, but soon found out that it was not doing exactly what we needed so we kept buying the addons that we thought would give s the desired results but those did not work either, so I will explain what we want it to do if it is possible.

We are a tech company and we do migrations and upgrades for clients. I have a staff member that can only do upgrades and can only do them on certain days and times of those days.

Example: We want to add the upgrade service for Tuesday & Wednesdays for 830am and 10am but there is no way to add times in like this that we can find. Is it possible to add separate times in for the service?

We bought the Bookly Service Schedule (Add-on) & Bookly Special Days (Add-on) thinking that would give us what we needed but that still doesnt allow it. Is there any way to accomplish what we are needing and also, is there a way to get a refund on those 2 addons that we wont use?

Any help and guidance would be very appreciated.

If your local services support WooCommerce, it should work with Bookly.

Please note that the purpose of the WooCommerce integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly (but are supported by WooCommerce). If you enable this integration, WooCommerce will add the Bookly items to an already existing WooCommerce cart, which means that your customers will be re-directed away from your site to the WooCommerce cart after the details step. Payment features/options from Bookly will be disabled including the “Service paid locally” option, and they can purchase items from Bookly and WooCommerce in one session. So even if you use this integration, the booking process is maintained, and you’ll sell services from Bookly, not WooCommerce products.

To set this integration, you’ll need “fake” products and set any price for the “fake” products since the final/total price will be taken from Bookly services and other attributes from WooCommerce will be ignored. The “fake” products will serve as the “bridge” between Bookly and WooCommerce which means you can assign a WooCommerce product for each service separately, hence, there will be multiple products in the WooCommerce cart at the time of checkout. We advise hiding the “fake” product from WooCommerce as you won’t be selling the “fake” products to avoid confusing customers. To hide the “fake” products, you need to find (in the right part) the catalog visibility option and set it to hide: https://i.imgur.com/wyIQROe.png.

I have a pre-sale questions:

1- I would like to have a service pre-selected in the form. Does the plugin support that. The reason is because at this stage i just have 1 service.

2- can we hide the category field and the staff field from the plugin settings? i know that this is feasible with CSS, but it would be better if we can do it from the settings.

As Bookly Pro is installed on the WordPress website, the admin panel is one and there is no option to separate it for the vendors.

Perhaps you will need to set up a WordPress Multisite environment that allows you to run and manage multiple WordPress sites or blogs from a single WordPress installation. But please note that in this case, you will need to use the Bookly Multisite Add-on as well: https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-multisite-addon/13903524. It allows you to use the same copy of Bookly on multiple websites with each site of your network will have its own database that doesn’t interact in any way. Thus, each site has its own set of staff members, services, and settings that do not overlap. Payments go to each site in the network, not to the network admin. So you will need to provide a separate purchase code for the Bookly plugins for each new site you add in the future.

Otherwise, please check if the Bookly Staff Cabinet Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003349989-Staff-Cabinet-Add-on will work. It allows your providers/staff members/employees to manage their bookings, own calendar, view, and update details, manage services (create appointments), prices, schedule, days off, and special days (if installed), as well as export their calendar information into a CSV file without access to the WordPress admin panel. However, please note that the creation of services is, at this time, possible in the back end through admin only.

Hello, We have a question:

We have a salon manager and we would like him to see only the booking agenda of the day to send customers to the right master. We do not want him to see the past or future bookings and we do not want him to add or delete any appointment. Could you please let me know how we can do this please?

If you give your staff members access to WordPress Dashboard with either Contributor, Author, or Editor role then the staff member can only view and edit appointments in the calendar (as well as, if allowed, edit their info as a staff member) that belong to that corresponding staff member associated with that WordPress user. The permissions based on the level of access are as follows:

Subscriber – doesn’t see actual data values in any of the dashboard sections; Contributor, Author, or Editor – can only view and edit appointments in the calendar that belong to the staff member associated with that WordPress user. Can also edit their info as a staff member; Admin – full access to WP Dashboard; Bookly Supervisor – your staff under this role will manage Calendar, Appointments, Profile, Customers, and Payments menus; Bookly Administrator – full access to Bookly.

Hello, the pro add on is installed and activated. Services are set up but on the booking page user cannot select any service.

why are the plugins so expensive then with the addons vat and tax your talking $110 for pro then addons $60 each there 10-20 collectively its about $1000 for it i pay for this plugin from another site added money to the cloud service and now cant access any of my credits loosing appointment and more i have a large following on social media live streaming and own numerous site and i think i may make a vid showing all this and how you stole my money because someone else was selling your plugin your support even intruded on my server which is so wrong

Hi, I want some info before i buy plugin, does plugin allow to set it up in a way that user can select multiple days ? Same as hotel/apartment bookings ? I am testing free version but can’t find configuration for that and also not possible on form.

You should be able to set the rooms as dummy/placeholder staff member. Each of the staff members will have their own schedule. The system will offer the schedule of the selected room (staff member) in the Timestep. Once the staff member is booked for a particular timeslot for a service, that staff member and service are no longer available.

For example, if staff member Superstar is booked on Tuesday at 10 am for service Awesome then staff member Superstar is no longer available on Tuesday at 10 am for any other services she provides. Likewise, other customers will not be able to book service Awesome on Tuesday at 10 am, unless other staff members are set to provide this service.

However, there are available add-ons designed to offer versatility to accomplish preferred features in different scenarios.

Regarding booking for multiple days, please check if either the Bookly Multiply Appointments Add-on or the Bookly Custom Duration Add-on will work for this requirement.

The Bookly Multiply Appointments Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/210138469-Multiply-Appointments-Add-on lets your clients determine the length of their appointments by booking several identical services in consecutive appointments and can be used for time-flexible services or bookings by managers for several people in a row.

Whereas the Bookly Custom Duration Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005082294-Services-with-flexible-duration-Custom-Duration-Add-on allows you to create services with flexible duration so your customers while booking an appointment will be able to choose its length from the predefined options and the price will be adjusted respectively. Hello, I downloaded Bookly free version to test and it looks good but I noticed when customers are booking at appointment they are able to book appointments for the same day or even the same hour of the same day. Is there a way to make it so that customers can’t book appointments the same day? Is this extra feature to disable same day appointments available in Pro version?

Please note that you will need a separate license for each domain. So, you are licensed to use the Item to create one single End Product for yourself or for one client (a “single application”), and the End Product can be distributed for Free. For example, you have a domain mydomain.com and have the following subdomains: subdomain1.mydomain.com, subdomain2.mydomain.com, subdomain3.mydomain.com, and so on. All of these have the same domain then you’ll need one license. However, if it’s different domains, you’ll need a new license for each domain where you want to use Bookly.

Just to clarify please, is this an intermediary business wherein you are providing a website as a platform where users can sell their services, please? Or are you creating different websites individually for each provider?
