Hello, is the plugin always kept up to date? I see that the latest updates date back to November 2023. I’d like to use it on one of my websites, but I’m hesitating because of the lack of updates.

Thank you

Hi I have just downloaded your plugin and set up two hotspots to open in the light box.

When you click the icon two lightboxes open one on top of the other. Can you advise how to change this so that one opens.

Is it possible to set the site of the light box?

Hi, I can see it working fine here, this happens if you have another lightbox plugin enabled in the page, looks like something with nectar-auto-lightbox, please try to disable it for this page.

Is there a way to trigger the tooltip by rolling over a corresponding TEXT list?

For example, on this page is it possible to add code so that if an item in the
below the map is hovered, then the corresponding tooltip on the map appears https://avivaliving.ca/dev/area/

I would be willing to pay to have this update done.

    Let me know, thanks!

Hi, I have purchased this plugin. but I am unable to find the feature wherein the linked image opens in a lightbox.

but it’s coming as incompatible archive

The two version doesn’t share the same data, you can just ignore the old one and using the newer version only, will delete the old version in the future update.

it worked. thank you. the file to be uploaded was not compressed in the required format

Hi I am liking your plugin, mostly because I can entirely style the pop-ups, (albeit with some effort) compared to the Avada built in image hot spot element.

If you look at this page https://kts.org.uk/kingston-society-project-map/ where I am experimenting with Avada and yours, you can see how much better your pops are but also how much better the styling for the labels is in Avada. There are no styling options in yours which is a very big weakness. Can I hack this in the CSS somewhere to improve the labels.

Hi, you can try to customize the .cq-hotspot-label in the jquery.hotspot.css, please don’t forget to minify it after editing, we’re using the minified files here.

I have two different hotspots, one in a row and the other in a different row. On mobile, I cannot see the lower pin. If I switch them, I always see only one, the upper one, while the second, lower pin remains hidden or not visible.

I’ve located the tooltipster-base at the top of the page. It appears that the second pin is not positioned correctly over the designated pin, but instead, it moves up to the very beginning of the page, above the header. This seems to be causing the positioning issue we’re experiencing.

Hi, please try to renew the support, send me the preview page, WP access, how to reproduce the problem etc via the contact form in my profile page, then I can try to help. I can’t help with the description only.

Hello There are two version. cq-hotspot-1.2.6 & cq-hotspot-1.3.7 version. I have installed cq-hotspot-1.3.7 version. by lightbox I cannot show the image with tooltip content(text). Do you have not an option, to show both image & text, without such example code: avatar There is only 2 weeks until the Envato LA and San Francisco Meetups! We want you to be there but space is limited. If you are interested you’ll have to get in quick, please head to the Meetup Thread and RSVP. :)

Thank you for your help. Best regards

It appears that the code for the image that is used for the hotspots does not include the Alt text for the image, which triggers errors for accessibility. Is it possible to add the alt text for the image?

As an example, on this page: https://tapdintostem.org/regional-hubs/

our map in the WP media gallery has the alt text of “TapdInto-STEM Regional Hubs Map”

The code that comes through the plugin, though is:

As you can see, no alt text is being brought over so the Accessibility tests fail.

https://wave.webaim.org/report#/https://tapdintostem.org/regional-hubs/

Is there a way to enable the Alt text for the background image of the hotspot?

Thanks!
