Hi – I am using FE pro on my site. I use a product categories filter but have a category I would like to bring special attention to. We just added used/pre-owned. Is there a way to feature a category/taxonomy? I have them sorted alphabetically at the moment. Would like to have used pop up at the top. I would also like to have a button above that only brings up the used. I don’t see a way to add a second filter of the same type. Can I do that?

(1) The filter will only appear on my shop page if I select apply filtering if the page is: pages, and, i choose the page of my shop. It seems very particular on when it shows up. I would like it to appear on any search results page. I can’t make that happen. (2) I would like to make this work with advanced woo search. That search plug in digs in deep into tags and other areas. It doesn’t seem to play well with that.
To clarify, if i select Common Wordpress Pages and shop page, the filters do not appear on my shop page.

In order to display certain products always at the top of the page, you can use some specified plugins to stick them there.
You can place multiple filter sets on one page, for each filter set to display on the page you need to add a filter widget or shortcode [fe_widget], but not in the mix, so either shortcodes or widgets.
To make it appear on the search page, you need to create another filter set and place it on “Common WordPress pages” + “Search results page for selected Post Type” and you would need to use the Woo “product search” widget in order to make it work correctly.
As to the AWS plugin more likely it is to use not-compatible search algorithms. With this addition to the URL “&type_aws=true” it won’t work.

Doe this option in your plugin: Search Field – Allows you to search by text among filtered posts, utilize the built in woo product search? Can you think of a method on how product tags could be added to this search? I really love AWS and Filter Everything Pro. I’m having a hard time giving up either or. But if it comes down to it AWS will have to go.

Well, you can make a little workaround, since our search is looking at the title, description, and product SKU. You can add your tags or other things to your product description. So it will find it. But in future updates, we want to extend search capabilities.

using elementor template page for product archive can not get the filters to display the filtered results. have turned cache off, no console errors being reported or server log errors to report. also, im using the official woocomemerce swatches plugin and most of my swatches are images. your plugin seems to only display if is a static color and not an uploaded image? Do you mean you do not have a mobile filter button? Or do you have it but it’s empty?
If the first one, then place a mobile button shortcode [fe_open_button] – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/shortcodes/ to display it.
If the second, then your widget area might be hidden in the mobile mode.

Dear Team, I have enabled (Length * Width * Height) filter in my website, it’s working fine. But i if i adjust length using numeric range slider, automatically width * height is also getting adjusted. i don’t want that, i want to select each seperately and filter as per the selection i am doing manually. How can i do it. I use Dimensions field from woocommerce to filter (LWH) and in plugin i am using custom field numeric in Filter by field.

here is the URL: https://bit.ly/filter-by-size. You can try adjusting the min length size, you can see min width number is getting adjusted automatically. i don’t want any other sizes (width or height) to change automatically when i put min and max length.
If you mean, that when you set for example “Width” range like this – https://prnt.sc/TBV-OkcgunU0 the side filters become inactive without any values to choose from?
The thing is when you set the values it filters your posts, so after choosing in the “Width” filter range between “607-630” it is simply showing one product. And the side filters show the values of that one product. Which are “Length” 615 and “Height” 360.
So if you choose any range value in one filter, and it will apply it, then you see in other range filters the values for posts that are left after applying the first filter.
Basically, like this: you have 100 products and can see all values in your range filters. When you set in one of them a certain range, and let’s say there are only 10 posts left after filtering, the rest range filters will display values of those 10 posts that are currently displayed.

If you have a version 1.8.2 and see this error. Go to the plugins and install the Free version of the plugin. Then deactivate and delete the PRO version. Download the latest version of the plugin from this site, and install it on your site from Plugins -> Add New -> Upload plugin and choose the archive with the plugin. The Free version is needed to not lose all of your filters. When you delete the PRO version.

In short, no. If you do, it will result in a 404 error. There will be a conflict between plugins, which one should work with this URL – Woo, FE, or WP? All prefixes should be unique.

we are using your plugin filter everything. it works really good.
we are using Houzez theme. In which we using custom post type. also Houzez custom taxonomies.
We applied image on custom taxonomies and create filter of that taxonomies. But Images are not visible at front end of filter.

Good morning, I use WPML, ACF pro and filter everyt hing pro on a worpdress site with two languages: Italian and English. this is the site: https://ferrarigroup.it
I have already translated all the entries in the custom fields created for the products (paint roller) with ACF pro and the products are translated correctly.
The problem is that the filters on the shop page that should filter the paint rollers are not translated into English but remain in Italian.
I followed the guide published by you, I activated the translations on filter set (filter set) in wpml, I forced the regeneration of the entries on the page with the command: https://ferrarigroup.it/en/shop/?reset_filters_cache=true I cleared the site cache but it didn’t work.What can I do to translate the filters?

We have checked the site and the issue is in the URL prefix, in the Filters -> Settings -> URL Prefixes, we changed the ones with a
--to
_and everything is working, please note they should be unique, they should not cross with any slugs that are on your site already created.
if you have a category-slug creating URL prefix like category-something won’t be unique, it should be with _ to be unique.

But we recommend testing it first, to be sure that everything is working without AJAX, and only then use AJAX.

How can I show the total number of results on a search page? This will be used for a number of job postings we have, so say some selected the filter “MArketing” they’d see 34 out of 554 jobs
Also, is it possible to have 2 filter sets on the same page? Right now, I have it in a sidebar widget for Desktop, which pushes it to the bottom of the screen on mobile.
I’d like to add another filter widget above the content on mobile only, but when I do so, the shortcode causes the side bar widget on desktop to disappear.

1) You would need to write a custom code that will get a number of how many posts you have, and update let’s say with the message how many it finds to your needs.
2) Yes, it’s possible to have 2 filter sets on one page. You would need to place two widgets or shortcodes in order to display them but do not mix like 1 widget and 1 shortcode. And of course, create 2 filter sets.
For the mobile button, if you are using pop-up mode, you can use the shortcode [fe_open_button] on the page where you would like to see the mobile button.

Hi, I’m testing filtering on custom fields. It works perfectly on numeric ranges but not on other field types.
I notice when filtering on numeric range the original page URL (containing index.php) stays: for instance https://mywebsite.com/index.php/test_block/
When filtering on other field types (text or boolean) I get a “page not found” error, and I notice the URL changed to for instance https://mywebsite.com/test_block/country-france/
What could be the cause? URL prefix is ‘country’ in above example

The index.php should not be in the URL, this is considered as a bad practice. Thus the filtering is not working. As to the second URL 404 error, please make sure that all your URL prefixes are unique, go to the Filters->Settings->URL prefixes and change it to the unique ones for example make them fe_myprefix.

Pre-Sale: Can the category filter be made to respect the category url, without adding anything to it? for example: category-category-name >> category-name. Because it doesn’t allow the field to be left empty.
I only want to use the category filter as a menu, I want it to respect the URL and the SEO that I apply to the category using Yoast.

If the category URL will be the same as default category URL, the category archive page will be opened 
/{category_filter_slug}-{category_name}/
Where {category_filter_slug} – anything you type in appropriate filter field.
{category_name} – regular category slug.
For example:
/cat-laptops/
/cat-smartphones/
/cat-tablets/
And you can set up single SEO Rule for all such category filter pages in the FE plugin settings and all SEO data can be generated automaticaly for these pages.

Uhum, so here is what you can do, install the latest Free version of the plugin. Then deactivate the PRO version and delete it from the dashboard -> plugins.
Download the latest 1.8.2 PRO version from here and install it from Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin and choose the archive with the downloaded plugin.
It should fix it and you will have all of the filter sets untouched. Because without the Free version if you delete the PRO plugin all filters we get deleted.

Hello and Happy New Year , we are using our licences on dev websites none of these websites are live. The dev sites are searchdev.primelux.co.uk and we are testing this on dev.primelux.co.uk , it did not work , so we bought another licence .We have purchased a second licence today and it is not activating , ” invalid licence please enter correct licence key” You have been using this plugin for over two months without a licence, and it is now logged. If you are having an error that says “invalid license please enter correct license key” more likely you are using the CodeCanyon purchase code, instead of the license key. If you cannot deactivate some licenses on sites, you can send the license key and we can deactivate it for you across all of the sites.
If you have two licenses you can activate it on 4 sites, but there is no possibility to do it on 5 sites with two licenses. You can only deactivate on some sites, to use on another one.
