Yes, you can have automatic scheduled emails, so for example an email sent 1 day before. The email templates can be set according to accommodation type, so you can use it to send the lock box code 1 day before arrival.

You can add the “accom_id” parameter to display a search form for a specific accommodation type. For example [hb_booking_form accom_id=”123”].

HBook allows you to create extra-services per person, per person/per day, per quantity, per quantity/per day, per day, or once. We currently don’t have the type “quantity” with a price per person. The closest you can get is to have it as “Quantity” and inform your guests that they enter the total quantity. For example, if they are 4 guests and wish to have 2 lunches, they will indicate 8 lunches.
Another workaround, if you have set stay length (for example, if you have weekly stays only), you can set it as “Multiple choice” and “Per person”. The choices will be “1 breakfast, 2 breakfast, 3 breakfast, etc.). Hoping it is clear enough!

Disponemos de un apartamento y nuestra intención es que solo se permitan las reservas a través de Airbnb, es decir, que la web debe mostrar el calendario disponible de Airbnb (incluso si es posible que se muestren los precios que tenemos especificados en la plataforma) y cuando el usuario seleccione las fechas y el nº de personas al pulsar el botón de reservar se le redirija a la plataforma Airbnb para que termine el proceso allí. Sí, se puede hacer, aunque no hay una opción dentro del plugin. En el campo “Descripción mostrada en los resultados de búsquedas” de su alojamiento, es posible añadir HTML. De esta manera, se puede añadir un botón que haga una redirección a su listing AirBnb.

Our property accomodates between 2 to 4 people, while we would allow single person accomodation obviously not many come on their own.
Can we remove the option of 1 adult on [hb_booking_form]? As we configured our property for 2 to 4, it gives an error when a single adult is booking saying “Unfortunately we could not find any accommodation that would suit one person only.”

Great plugin, very easy and super user friendly. I have a question, is it possible to simply close 1 day to arrivals/departures? For example on some public holidays we are not open for check-in and check-out.. But obviously somebody can still book through that specific date. Thank you for you help!

Ie. I have 2 seasons, winter and summer and if right now winter season is active then it only shows the price of the winter season?

Pricing structure differs a lot from one setup to another, and HBook is flexible enough to take care of a huge variety of pricing structure. Hence, it might be not always that straightforward to extract a starting price. Nevertheless, I have taken note of your suggestion to display currently active season rate, thank you!

Hi,
We are using HBook on a site for holiday bookings which works well – can we use HBook for renting out office space available to book out in half or full day slots?
We have looked at adding a new Accommodation type but it still relies on a Rate that is ‘per night’ and if we use a Accommodation Rate and a Fee it says on the calendar area “per person” and “Accommodation” which we can’t seem to change? This would need to be per ‘time slot’ or something similar.
How can we use the plugin for office space bookings?

Hello,
HBook is not designed for space rentals. However, it can be used for this purpose, with a couple of changes, and only for some rental types. If you rent per hour, for example, then you won’t be able to use HBook.
After reading your message, here is what you can try. If you can rent for half-day (morning or afternoon) and full day, you will create 3 accommodation types, and use automatic blocking to keep availability updated. When someone books “Full day” rental, then HBook will block “Morning” and “Afternoon” automatically. When booking “Morning” or “Afternoon”, “Full day” rental is blocked.
If the client rent for a maximum of 1 full day (so not rentals for 2-3 days) for example, you won’t need the “check-out” dates (end of rental). It requires custom changes to HBook to automatically populate the check-out date (and hide it). It is only 1 file to modify and I can provide it to you. But keep in mind that it will need to be updated each time you update HBook, so it is best to disable auto-updates. The changes are here to hide the “Check out” selection

I am afraid HBook does not support multiple currency. You can show prices only in one currency. Depending on the payment gateway you are using, you can accept payments in different currencies.
To set and show prices in different currencies (for example a local currency and dollars), we have HBook users who have 2 HBook installation (one in each currency). Clients are directed to one site or the other when they click on a currency switcher displayed on their page. To maintain accurate availability, they use the ical sync.
As it is only a workaround, it might not suit your needs. Thank you for your comprehension!

HBook works with a base price for the “Normal occupancy” (1 person in your case) and a “Price per additional person”. However, in the pricing you give, it is not the same for each additional person. To achieve this pricing, you will have to use a workaround and have one accommodation type for 1-2 persons and another for 3 persons. You can set automatic blockings to keep availability accurate.

It is currently not possible to have different payment options according to accommodation type (as one for which approval is required, when the other is with online payment). In my email, I have provided a workaround, for customer to contact you for booking the accommodation type that needs approval. Please come back to me per email if you need further help with this.

It is currently not possible to have different security bonds according to property. Do you ask for the security bond to be paid (and then refunded)? If so, you can add it as a fee, since you can have fees according to accommodation types.
Allowing security bonds per property is a feature that we are actually developing, so it should be available in a near future.
