It depends what your exact needs are. - If it is to modify description/content for their property, this can easily be done. It isn’t something that is done by HBook but restricting edition of a page/post content is simple with WordPress. - If it is that you need owners to manage their availability (blocking dates or adding reservations), but you don’t wish to provide them WordPress admin access, you can use the ical sync. They will check/update availability in their agenda.

HBook is not meant to be used for multiple hotels/owners on a single installation, if you need that they have admin access but only tp manage their properties settings and reservations (without accessing the reservations and accommodation settings of the other owners).

Hi,

If you use an extra-service “Half board” that is “Per person per day” (or “Per person”), then you can set the price for the adults ($50) and the price for the children($30). If the customer select this extra-service, it means that he will have Half Board for all guests for the length of the stay. Let’s take your example with 1 adult + 1 child, and let’s say it is a 2-nights stay. The Half-board option total will be 2*(50+30) = $160.

If you wish to offer the Half-board option, but that the customer indicates how many meals he wish to have, then you will use the “Per quantity” type for this extra-service. You can set “Half-board adult” and “Half-board children” and the guest will indicate the quantity.

Thanks for the response. There are two type of properties with me

1. Convention center Hall 2. Rooms(Total 5)

I want to manage booking of these properties

1. Convention center hall can be provided, morning only(6-10), noon time only(11-4) Evening ( 5- 10PM) or Full day ( Morning 6 to Night 10) 2. Rooms can be booked as like normal hotel rooms(From your demo I see this option). User must have option to book multiple rooms as per his wish

HBook is not designed for this type of rentals, but it sounds feasible. I suggest that you test and see if it works for you. We have an 8-days refund period, so you will be able to check that HBook is or not suitable for your needs.

You will therefore have to create various accommodation types: - Convention Room 6-10 - Convention Room 11-16 - Convention Room 17-22 - Convention Room Entire day

You will use HBook automatic blockings so when someone books any of the first 3 accommodation types, the “Entire day” is blocked, and vice-versa.

This is already feasible! You will set for example “Bed in 8-beds mixed dormitory” as the Accommodation type and you will set that you have 8 of them. With the possibility to book multiple rooms (or beds here), you can indeed offer standard rooms and beds booking.

The ical sync works nicely, but please note that it doesn’t guarantee 100% that you won’t have a double booking, since there is a slight delay between updates. For the vast majority of our users, it is more than enough for their needs. If what you are after is a channel manager (real-time), we have clients who use Smoobu, HostHub, etc.

HBook doesn’t have a mobile app, if this was your request. However, your client will be able to check the admin reservations page by logging in to his WordPress admin site directly from his phone. The reservation list is responsive and you can easily check/modify/confirm/cancel/email clients/... directly from the phone.

For your information, it is already possible to charge the customer from the remaining balance, manually, from HBook, if you are using Stripe payment gateway.

We are currently working on various additions for HBook Payments feature. Having a payment page for paying the remaining balance (payment link) is on the roadmap, as well as automatic charge with Stripe (currently possible only manually).

I don’t have a timeframe yet, since it will be split in different releases. The next release, wich is under development, is mainly about Stripe features, including an update of Stripe integration.

Hi,

For each accommodation type, you can set how many you have. For example, in a hotel situation, you will create a “Double room” type and indicate that you have 10 of them.

In your project, I understand that the Villa is split is different “buildings”, each with its number of bedrooms/bathrooms/pricing. And that a customer books one of the “buildings”. If this is correct, then you will create one “Accommodation types” for each “building”.

Hi,

In HBook – Ical Sync – Import settings, you can set HBook sync frequency. By default, it is every hour, but you can adjust it up to every 5 minutes. This is how frequently HBook will check your external calendars (Booking.com, AirBnb, etc.) and import any new reservation received on these calendars.

AirBnb, Booking.com, etc. will do the same (checking HBook calendar) at their own frequency. AirBnb and booking.com normally run the update hourly. You can execute the sync manually on both platforms if you need to do so.

There is a possibility of over-booking, since it is not real-time update, and it is important to know it. However, it should not be often, indeed. We have good feedbacks from HBook users, since it is sufficient for them. They know that it can happen, and they adapt when it occurs (offering a different room, when available, for example).

For real-time sync, a “Channel manager” is required. It is an API integration with other platforms (AirBnb, Booking.com, Expedia, etc,) and so is instantly updated. Using a channel manager depends on your needs, and budget!

You wlll need to use a different tool to ask for the ID cart of the client, after the booking has been done. For example, a ContactForm7 form that you send per email automatically (you can set automatic emails in HBook).

It seems to me that the seasons have not been created correctly. Seasons apply to all accommodation types. Said differently, you can not create seasons that are specific to one villa and another season, with dates that cross over, for a different villa.

First of all, for the first time on themeforest, I received such a fast return, thank you for your success in support.

Our problem is exactly the following Celine, we entered more than 100 villa ads, in which the Home Id theme was used. I can create the seasons specifically for each villa, this is true. But what I want to understand is that if I used an option between August 1 and August 31 in the dates in the season I created for villa X, I cannot create and use the season between August 1 and August 31, even though I create a new season for villa Y and specify only Y in the accommodation section, do I understand correctly?

How should we follow a way to change this situation, can we activate it from the panel by intervening ourselves or do we need developer support?

Please read again my reply, as you can NOT set seasons according to accommodation types. All seasons apply to all accommodation types, and this is the reason for which you have an error message.

Being able to set for which accommodation type is a season created would require custom development indeed.

Are there many differences between the seasons of the 100+ villas? We have HBook users who create for example 52 seasons (1 for each week of the year) and this give them enough flexibility then to apply the rates and rules, when they use HBook for various properties that don’t follow the same seasons pattern.

If what you are after is to be able to click on any date in an admin calendar to modify the price, this is not a feature we provide.

You can apply discounts, and you can as well create seasons that have “Priority” status. We have customers who create “Priority” status seasons to add some dates that they wish to offer at a discounted price. So, the way to do it is to have a season for which you have set the promotional rates for all your accommodation types (you can have different promotional rates according to accommodation). And add dates to this season whenever you wish to change a night or a week to a promotional price.

It isn’t the same as the feature you describe, so it might not be a solution for you. If you wish to check that HBook can suit your needs, we have an 8-days refund period.

Hi,

You can not have dates that belong to 2 seasons with the same priority status. HBook would not know which one is actually the season that has to be applied (and the rates associated to this season).

But you can have your regular “Summer” season and a priority “Promotional” season, with dates that belong to the “Summer” season. Whenever a search is for dates belonging to the “Promotional” season, rates associated to this “Promotional” season will be used, since it has priority.
