How do I “disable” the style? In addition, how do I filter only Parent Categories instead of ALL Categories?

Well, it is better to ask your theme support how you can disable those styles in the theme. As they are not related to our plugin.
Not sure what you mean by ” filter only Parent Categories” If you want to place the filter set on parent categories then create multiple filter sets and place them on each parent category. If you want to remove sub-categories from the filter widget then use the include/exclude functionality by clicking on the needed filter and “more options”.

Currently, I do not see a Taxonomy for “Parent Categories” just “Categories”. Do I need to setup a “custom field” and what is the meta key if so.

What we mean is that you need to create separate filter sets and place them on “Product Category” or just “Category” + “My main category 1” then create another filter set and place it on the second main category and so on.

You need to use the “product search” widget in order to use the search correctly. Unfortunately, we cannot make the search link work, even with VPN and so on. If you are using any search plugin that might be an issue. Or wrong query in the filter set setting in the “And what to filter” dropdown.

I have tried all the suggestions above without luck. We are NOT using a search plugin and the settings are “Search results page for selected Post Type” and “Products”. The custom Filter is showing up, but the out of stock products are still showing. This is working on the Shop and Category pages.

So in short the issue is that it is showing out-of-stock products when you are searching for anything. Can you remove it? Perhaps it is causing some issues.

Well, actually you can just enable the option in the Woo settings to not show products that are out of stock – https://prnt.sc/CKPGDg-uf3ay and don’t even bother.
In general to the issue, there might be some data issues, if there were importing products, that’s why some of the products might be shown.
But we cannot get to the DB to check it.

I just check the “Filter” settings and it looks like you made changes in an attempt to resolve this without luck. Using the option to “NOT SHOW PRODUCTS THAT ARE OUT OF STOCK” is not the solution I’m looking for. The out of stock filter works for all other pages (SHOP, CATEGORY, ETC), but not for SEARCH RESULTS. Did you check if the AJAX settings for the HTML ID or Class of Posts Container is correct for my website?
What else can we do here?

No, actually we did make it work, here is the example of a search, and you see there are some “out of stock” items – https://riflenetics.com/?s=Bianchi&post_type=product click the “in stock” and you will see that they are gone.
We changed the AJAX container a bit so it will cover only products.

Do you have any variable products?
If yes then you should turn on “Use for Variations” if no then you should leave it like it is. You changed the site a bit so we didn’t log in to check it all. But in any case, there can also be issues that after importing products, some data can be corrupted.

Negative, no variable products. The Filter is working fine for all other pages except for the Search Results page. At this point, I would like to ask for a refund on both licenses purchased and unable to get working.
Please advise next steps.
We tested it on this page and it was hiding everything correctly – https://riflenetics.com/?s=Bianchi&post_type=product this is the page where we used search. So we do not know how and why when you tested it it was not working.
Also, we haven’t noticed any “The search results are severely limited to about 11 products when we have thousands.” as it was hiding only out-of-stock products.
So we recommend creating it one more time and testing it all again.

Have you edited this field – https://prnt.sc/zdCr8TR6ihsH if so you can forget about it and create a new ACF field as the ACF plugin does not change the meta key in the database when you rename it in the plugin. So basically there is no data for that key in the database. Also, deleting custom fields from ACF does not delete them from the DB, so in either case, if you created them they will be in your DB, take that into account.
Create a new ACF field and never change its name “meta key” in order to prevent any issue.

You can but you need to delete them from, the database as well. And ACF doesn’t do it when you delete the field. So you will have one with new ones and it will provide the data from the old ones as well. That’s why we recommend creating unique meta keys for them.

Wait, what are you trying to filter? If you even do not have posts on your site? The home page is empty as well. You need to create posts or products apply a custom field to those posts and add data to the post, you can filter those posts on the page where you display them via WP_Query.
You need to create archive page to display all of your CPT made with ACF.

I’ve made a custom post type: “bil”.
In order to display all these CPTs, you need an archive page for them. ACF does not create an archive page for your custom post types, you can create a taxonomy for it in ACF (something like a category) put all those posts inside it, and place the filter set on the taxonomy page.

On ACF, no, we do not have it as it is not our product. But we are currently writing documentation on typical issues with ACF and these topics will be covered in it. But it won’t be ready any time soon, because it has to cover quite a lot of topics.
But you can create Taxonomy for your CPT and we can set up filter set so you will have an example.

Actually, we didn’t notice that you were using Elementor, so we just created a page with filters, please go to the page and view the “Your CPT PAGE WITH FILTER” page, there will be a filter set up on that page with your CPT and everything will work.

You simply create a loop grid as you would in Elementor. All you need to do is place the filter widget on that page from the “WORDPRESS” section in Elementor and create a filter set that is placed on “pages” + “name of the page you need” from the “Where to filter” dropdown and choose the needed query from “And what to filter”.

I also resetted all cache etc but the filter is only showing up in the default website language (English).
Before i changed it like in the webpage it did show everywhere and worked fine but hte only thing is, it did not translate the filter lables even though i did translate them.

Hello,
I am having trouble with a plugin conflict. We are running a wordpress multisite and are using WordPress Multisite Sync. When WordPress Multisite Sync and Filter everything are active we can’t add or edit the filters. I think this may be to do with the post meta information, there is an option to exclude a post meta type from the sync, so this might work if you can tell me if your plugin uses this and what it is?

Well, the reset is in the chips, for example, you can see it here in the chips – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/product-category/clothing/women/color-red/brand-hm/c-kind-dress/?max_price=100 there will be a reset button.
Or you can turn on the apply button mode, and there will be “apply” and “reset” buttons first choose all of the filter terms then hit “apply” to filter the page.

Hello,
We are using attributes to facilitate product categorization on the Product page. While the categorization of products is functioning correctly, we’re encountering an issue where, upon attempting to navigate to the next page from the categorized products, the product categorization resets, displaying all products once again.
For instance, on the page you provided, there are 14 products under the category “Look-Concrete.” Since only 12 products are displayed per page, when navigating to page 2 to view the remaining 2 products, the product categorization disappears, and all products are shown.

Hi! I’ve an issue with the translation of the filter titles in one filter set. My site is in double languages, italian (the main) and english. The filter is good in italian version, instead in the english version the labels of the filters are in italian and not in english. I’ve translated the filter set but doesn’t work.

If you have a main filter set using the Italian language, and you place the Italian titles for filters you will see them, then you need to choose to use the WordPress editor (if you are using WPML) in the filter set and add an English translation, where you will need to create absolutely new filter set for English version and use English titles for filters.

We have checked the site and see the issue, when the filter is set to “Any Category” it displays across all of the categories in all languages.
Currently, you can set a “filter set” to a specific category, as we did with “Filtro linea Fatti Bene”. Basically, you only need to set it to the parent category, as it will show up in subcategories and it will work correctly with translations set to a specific category as well. Until the development team checks this behavior and applies language recognition when selecting “Any category” in the filter set settings, this is the only way to go.

Yes, that is absolutely correct, that is the only way out right now.

Sorry for the confusion, but since I started this discussion last week, I thought the topic wasn’t closed, but was continuing with the one started on Friday.
Ok now the brush category page goes and displays the filters that I couldn’t see before, but the problem now is on the Shop page, where both filters must be present, those for brushes and those for rollers, but those for the rollers have disappeared (they were there before, on the main page of the shop the rollers are also present, not just the brushes) Is it possible to view both sets of filters?

You need to place all of the needed filters in the shop filter set, so basically for all of the brushes, rollers, etc.
And do the same for the category filter set, just place all of the needed filters in one filter set.
Then you simply can enable “Hide empty filters” so it will hide empty filters on the page. So for example, if there is any category that has products that have only colors, then the rest of the filters will be hidden.
Also, please do not use different filter plugins at the same time, it will add only conflicts.
This plugin is supported by our plugin for infinite scrolling and others – https://wordpress.org/plugins/load-more-products-for-woocommerce/ others might not be compatible.

Hi, We’re using Filter Everything Pro on a Divi site. The Ajax setting doesn’t work. When we change the filter selection, the Posts disappear from the Posts container (it’s empty) the filter results only display if the page is refreshed. Do you know how we can get it to work properly without refreshing the page? Many thanks. The filter works OK without the AJAX turned on but we don’t want to see the page update each time the selection/filter is modified.

Unfortunately, this is how the AJAX works, this is not a compatibility question. The other solutions will give the same results after the elements are updated with AJAX. Because when you remove an element and then replace it with AJAX (update elements), it loses any event bindings that were added to it on page load.

The issue is, one of them is no longer actively developed, and we have already purchased this one as it said Ajax and Divi compatible. What is the code to make it work with Divi posts? Many thanks

We have checked the site and the issue is in the grid display, not sure why but it is creating some sort of wrapper around elements with JS code, so we just turned it off and applied a bit of custom CSS style and everything looks good as new without additional code layer. You can check it in the blog element custom CSS. But you can apply those styles like global or in any other way to load them faster.

We haven’t tested it with the Royal Elementor addon’s mega menu, as we simply do not have it on our hands, we could check it, but we do not have full access to your dashboard, only temporary limited access, so we cannot even check it.
More likely they are not compatible with each other if the Filter Everything stops working after it is turned on.

If you are using any custom field you need to have a numeric custom field and create it by the meta key of your numeric custom field.
Also can be the issue that you simply choose not correct wuery in the filter set setting in the “And what to filter” so it simply does not get the price data. Change another one and hit update then check if everything is okay.

The thing is, you have a default H1 title and you can write whatever you want in it. If you create an SEO rule for “any color” and “any size”, when you select any single color term and size term from the filter, the SEO rule will work and change the H1 to match the SEO rule data.
This is how it is working. If you want to place the selected filter term names in the H1 you would need to create a custom code, which will basically check the exact selected filter terms and modify the H1 with the needed data.

Selected Filters Terms Note: this function works correctly only if it fires after the Main WP_Query. It means after hook ‘pre_get_posts’ fired.

You can use it to have an array of selected terms, and then use the title hook and write a code with conditions depending on which terms are selected to modify your H1.
