At this time, we cannot find any presence of our filter on the page that you have sent to us. Could you please check if it is turned on? Also, if everything appears to be gray, please go to the filter settings and choose another query in the “And what to filter?” section. After updating the filter set, please check the functionality.
Also, for testing purposes, turn off hiding filters if they are empty.

Hi, Can i show the apply filter on mobile version only please? how can i do it? because when i have more than two filter category in my mobile view & i am selecting from both of them the drop down doesn’t automatically closes the filter it remains open with the filter & i had to scroll down to see the results.

You can place two filter sets, using two filter widgets from the widget area or two shortcodes. Place two of the same filter sets on the page, in this case, you will have two filter sets one with apply buton mode second one is a simple one. Hide the apply button one on the desktop with CSS and show it only in mobile mode and hide the one without apply button mode in mobile.

Hi, is it correct that with Step-by-Step (https://demo.filtereverything.pro/step-by-step-filtering/) it does not reset the next values of the select when I have already selected the next ones? Example: I select Category -> Brand -> Color and then change Category. At this point Brand and Color should reset to the default values.

Yes, it is a correct behavior. We can add such feature to the list and maybe with future updates add a reset option to the child filters.

Hi Andrii, just a quick question I have as a user of your plugin. On your demo page (https://demo.filtereverything.pro/posts/) I can see that it is possible to show the hierarchy of categories/taxonomy terms AND show the sub-categories as well without manually unfolding. If I just tick the ‘Show Hierarchy’ box for my taxonomy in a filter set, sub-categories are automatically collapsed. Is there a filter or hook to enable hierarchical view with visible sub-categories/sub-terms? Thanks in advance!

Indeed when saving it, it is indicated that the filter prefix must contain at least one alphabetical symbol and then another error: this prefix is not authorized because it already corresponds to a taxonomy name or term already used on your site. Please use another prefix.

Indeed, on category pages it works but not on the Shop page.

The URL prefix should be entered and should be unique, try to use any prefix like “test_prefix_for_price” and hit update if it will save it without any errors.
Also, make sure that you have deleted all of the filter sets from the trash. Please check if your plugin is registered or in blocked status.
If none of those will work, please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it.

3rd problem.
In the mobile version, still on the product category pages, the filter button did not work, so I added the shortcode so that it appears. But this does not work as expected. Indeed the button now appears, and the filter for the category in question is clearly selected in gray in the filters. Only when I select another filter, it is not taken into account on this page.

You can place two filter sets on the page, all you need to do is use two shortcodes or two filter widgets on the page or as many as you need.
Please note, that the same filters will work simultaneously.

If you are referring to that on your site you have a switcher to change views from cards to lits just changing CSS, it should work fine without any problems.
If you mean that you wave two queries on the same page, one responsible for cards and the second one for list view and use one filter set for both of those queries won’t work. You can use a second filter set for that purpose but the filters should be different to work not together because if you have two filter sets on one page with the same filters they will work together (they will filter both queries), but counters won’t show correct information.

currently we have 2 deferent view for the same listing, and the same filter should be applied on both view but it is working on a single listing view
Could you please provide more details on how your list view works? It appears that it is not just a case of switching styles, as these are two different elements, so how they should work together? The list view one is most likely using another query to display the posts.
Additionally, we have observed mixed content issues on your website that we would strongly advise addressing.

we are using to listing items with different view and we are switching these 2 view with JavaScript by click on 2 icons, When clicking on icon it show 1st and and hide 2nd. Okay, so each view has its query, Cards (query1) and List (query2). Those are not applying different styles, this is two different queries and elements.
We have applied the second filter set on the same page (“Test filter to work for two filters”) added the same filter in that filter set and chose another query, so one filter set has query1 and the second one has query2 and they work together as long the filters are the same (at least the first filter as we didn’t add any more).

When my customers tap the filter button on a phone, the filters appear to malfunction, and the filter overlay behaves strangely. This issue suddenly emerged without any prior warning.

Maybe it is the theme styling or page builder, not sure what you are using. You can add the CSS in the Advanced CSS tab from the customization menu, using the classes from the screenshot to remove/rewrite those styles.
If the errors are related to our plugin, you can share a screenshot with us and we will provide you with relevant information. However, if they are unrelated, we cannot offer any assistance following the support policy. It is advisable to hire a developer from platforms like Upwork to fix them for you.

I am experiencing an issue where my filter is not updating the products shown when clicked. For example, the product categories are all correctly shown but when a category is clicked, nothing happens to show the filtered products. When filtering the price or in stock, it updates the categories filter accordingly, however the products themselves do not show in the loop. I’m using the archive products widget in elementor to display the products.

Go to the filter set settings and in the “And what to filter?” choose another query and hit update then check the workability.
Please note, that the plugin does not display products, it is only filtering them. So if the category pages do not display products they won’t appear while applying filters. You need to display products in order to filter them.
