I want to show taxonomy name in description but when adding [tax=TAXONOMY_SLUG] this in description field, page is giving critical error and not showing anything. Can you pls check my issue?
Hi,
You need to replace TAXONOMY_SLUG with the name of your taxonomy slug. For example, category.
Please make sure to use your taxonomy slug and try again.

1. In the filter sidebar section, the list of custom field options are displaying as the field value and not label. Do you know how we can change this?
2. After we select an option from the sidebar and click the Filter button, the search results never load. Do you have any insight into why this is or how to fix it?

I checked your map.
Regarding the custom fields in the filter, please note that the plugin will get the values of the custom fields as saved in the database. There’s no way to get labels instead. I suggess you edit the custom fields and use the label as the value. For example, the value (bouquet_subscription_service) should be saved as (Bouquet subscription service).
Regarding the loading, I think this is a server configuration issue. Please contact your hosting provider, ask them to increase the values of the variables listed below in the “php.ini” file, then, try again:
max_execution_time=140 max_input_time=140 max_input_vars=10000 memory_limit=512M post_max_size=512M

Thank you for taking the time to look into this issue!
Our hosting provider stated that the values they currently provide are higher except for max_input_vars=10000 which they use 6144. They are unable to modify server configuration per-site basis.
Do you think max_input_vars=10000 is required for the plugin to load filter results? Is there anything else we can do to try and make it work?

about one year I contacted you with active support, which I again extended but now is not active. (please see our comments and discussion here)
The plugin is UNUSABLE for us since then. We sent you login credentials, and you promised to review the page, but never responded since then. This is a break of the contract we had with you. Please tell us now how to proceed if you do not want, that we use legal forces.
Here again a short summary of the problem/bug, which is still not solved also with the latest version:
Since about 1 year almost no filters are working at all. We use the following filters: Perfil de actividad (taxonomy) Region (ACF custom field) Ciudad (ACF custom field) No afuera/Al aire libre (ACF custom field) Precio de la entrada (ACF custom field) Duración de la actividad (ACF custom field)
The taxonomy filter (Perfil de actividad) only works on the spanish site. On the english site it does not work. The ACF custom field filters do not work at all for both languages. (either show all results on the spanish site or none on the english). Nothing mayor was changed. All this used to work before.

We did not change anything in the translation and the exact same setup worked before I reached out to you. If it should be the translation at least one language (Spanish) should work, but it does neither!
I paid one year without hearing anything from you. Please get back how this can be fixed?

Besides just to make this clear we use Standart WPML and ACF Setup, following the Standards of this plugins. If we did something wrong, what is it exactly and what should be changed?
The Plugin does not work. If you are not able to give the support this it should be noted in your conditions – that people can make a better decisión before they buy.
Please any helpful update? If you are sure we did something wrong, what is it then and what should we change. Why did it work before?
Please note that we are forced to open a legal case. The service and Support got extremly bad during the last 1.5 years. We also make sure that others will be made aware in order to prevent buying. Sorry for beeing this direct, but I never experienced a worse service, which I bought.

Please note that this is a unique situation. Several other users are using the plugin with WPML and ACF and everything works fine for them. Checking your site, the first thing i’ve noted is that in your spanish version, there’s 249 locations but in your english version, there’s only 174 locations. This is a signe that the translation is not yet compleated or not done properly. Also, regarding the custom fields, I have no idea how you translated them. So, this is a complicated situation that requires to start all from scratch, adding a first location and translate it, then, add more locations and see if the error is actually coming from the plugin or not. This is something I cannot do.
Please note that you have all the right to open a refund request if you think the plugin is falsy but you have no right to prevent other customers from buying our products based on your opinion.

thanks for your answer. Since we like to have the plugin working I like to focus on a solution and hope now for your help.
To your question: We used always the recommended way of WPML to translate ACF fields from Type String (which are all of those fields)—> We copy them to all languages.
In the frontend we use string translation: For the plugin page: https://www.worldmoments.org/es/lugares-mas-hermosos-de-colombia/ we use the “ProgressMap” generated string. For a place (e.g.): https://www.worldmoments.org/en/place/blue-mountain/ we use a generated string from the template Code, which get registered, if the string does not exist.
This solution worked for us, after you about 2 years ago logged in our page and checked something. You also updated this plugin based on our recommendations. We did not change anything but updated the plugins/template we use.
What we checked: We deleted on set of strings in WPML for on item of the field City. After I deleted this one, the respective filter on the spanish site loads way faster for this item, but does not filter anything neither. Of cause loading the pages makes the strings appear again in WPML String translation.
Why are different amount of places in languages? Simply because not all places are available in the other language, which was also allways like this.

Last friendly reminder from our site: You stated that we use the translation in a wrong way. We actually proved above that we use it following the recommended standard – and as statet it was working once.
Thus what from your prespective are we doing wrong. The plugin does not work at all for us? You grantee support during 5 business days – but do not even react during more then 15 business days?

With Progress maps I have Case Studies from different countries and I just want to list the countries that have case studies above the map (with a view all option as well) so that users can filter that way. Is this possible with this plugin?

You need to have a custom field in which you add all countries, then, in each of your locations, specify the country.

Thanks, I was able to get the posts filtered by category, but the list and filter section still shows all categories (including unrelated categories I have on my website for an unrelated map). Please regenerate your permalinks and try again. In the administration, click on the menu “Settings => Permalinks”, then, simply scroll down and click on the button “Save changes”. This will regenerate the links.

Plugins are the latest version from the very beginning, we reinstalled plugins again but that didnt help
Problem with ‘Loading’ popping when one press back/forward or pages on paginator are still there.
We are pulling map data by filtering them via taxonomy (category); interestingly, once there is no such filter problem is not there. We also tried with custom field filtering and have the same issue.
Anything else we can do? We can provide you with login so you can check it yourself.

I have a map along with a list addon which I find to be good but it’s missing a couple of layout settings.
Is there any way the map marker can open when I click on the market icon corner of the image within the list? When I click on the corner, it takes me to the map but there are so many markets I can’t see which one it’s showing me.
Is there an option to have scrollable list where the map stays at the top and the list of markets with images, text blocks scroll up and behind the map?

If you still want to allow your visitors to find the list item in the map by clicking on the marker icon, you can increase the map zoom that should be applied when clicking on the marker icon.
