Hi, in the description of the features it says you can ‘prevent robots from indexing proxied pages’ is the opposite also true? I mean is it possible to get proxied pages indexed in search results?

Indexing proxies pages will depend on the type of search engine spider which is crawling your site, as some will index pages which have iframes in them or make redirects to other pages, others will not index these. So, the answer for this is: it depends.

The most basic role of this plugin is to add a feature to your website which will be able to allow users to access other websites using the IP address of your server. This can come useful if you want to build a ‘proxification’ website, which downloads the URLs the users want to access locally to your server and serves the downloaded content to users, as if they would have downloaded it.
This can come useful in cases when the users are not able to access the target URLs (because of geographical limitation or bans) and your server can access the target website.
It is also appealing to users, as it will also provide IP Masking for them: when a user accesses another website through your proxy server, the destination website sees the IP address of your server instead of the user’s own. This adds a layer of anonymity and privacy, protecting the user’s personal IP address from being tracked.

1) I am about to set up a free service which is based on another script from CodeCanyon. In that script I am allowed to add several proxies, it’s just that I believe that I will need about 5000 proxies in the longer run, and 500 to start with.
That script is very awkwardly designed for the proxy part. Instead of being able to upload all the plugins, I have to enter them all into the plugin.
My question to you, is whether this plugin, Zapp, can act as a gateway proxy to a set of proxies handled by Zapp and that I just use one entry in the script, e.g. localhost:<port_number> , hence Zapp would function as a gateway to where the real proxy use would be handled.
2) Can Zapp make use of e.g. 500 – 5000 proxies by uploading a file with them to the WP site and then switch between these proxies, e.g. using a simple switch method as Round Robin etc?
3) Is it possible to have more than one User Agent that is switched between by Zapp?
(the script that I need the proxies for is the AIO Video Downloader)

Sorry, but Zapp cannot create proxies which would be usable by other plugins or tools, as it creates reverse proxies. The reverse proxies can be used to allow users to connect to different websites, using your server’s resources and IP (or other proxy servers which you set up in the plugin).
So, it will not be useful for what you asked, sorry for this.

For some pages, like Google, which use heavy Ajax content loading and redirection, the plugin will not work also for redirects, unfortunately this cannot be achieved, as these sites protect against this kind of proxies.
However, it will work well for most other sites, as it is able to proxify redirect links found inside of websites.

For example if my server has 10 IPv4 or ipv6 can i generate 10 proxy and sell to users?
Access for these users would be IP: Port : Username : Password?

No, unfortunately this plugin cannot create conventional proxies, it can only use your website as a ‘fake proxy’. Meaning, that people can visit your site and use it to download content from other websites (using your site’s IP address) and show the users the downloaded content.

Unfortunately this is not possible, as this plugin cannot be directly integrated into the other plugin which you have active on your site, which pulls products data from the supplier.

This is currently not possible to be done using the plugin, because of some Google security checks and limitations, however, I noted your idea and will investigate it.
They keep returning this error on requests: “The Google Maps Embed API must be used in an iframe.”.
If I manage to make an update for the plugin to make this work, I will let you know.

Are you sure that the proxy IP you are using is allowing connections from my test server’s IP address? Please check if the proxy is not blacklisting or is not requiring whitelisting of IP addresses which are able to connect to it.

1. Nothing is listening on the IP:Port you are trying to connect to. 2. The port is blocked by a firewall.
Please check for firewall rules which might block connection to the proxy also from your server’s side.
Also, please test the proxy using a tool available online, an example is: https://www.fogldn.com/proxy-tester/

i have checked with the proxy testing tools and proxies are fine. can u help me figure out ho to fix firewall rules on servers end i am using namecheap’s hosting. also i have not entered the purchase code into the plugin as i am testing yet so not putting the purchase code can also block proxy requests ?

Oh, yes, because of some hosting related limitations, the demo is not able to work on the current setup. Will be working in the upcoming period on creating a new demo for this plugin.
However, the proxy related issue should be still discussed with NameCheap on your side.

i am not that technical person and i dont know what to tell namecheap support team to fix this issue. can u please tell me what should i ask the support team to give the firewall issue fixed ? i told them to turn off the firewall but they are saying that they dont turn off firewall until i must explain them what kind of error i am getting or why its necessary to turn off firewall.
Please let them know that you try to connect to a proxy from your site (give them also the proxy IP) and tell them that you get the ‘Connection Refused’ error from it.
They should be able to help based on this.
