Hello! I am using the free version of this plug-in and it’s been great so far.
I have a small issue now, however. On my website I created a filter set to filter different taxonomies. I created a new filter a few hours ago but it’s giving me problems: settings are exactly the same as my other filters, but when I go to select different items from this filter, it will only let me select one and then the other items become un-clickable. I’ve been trying to figure out why but everything looks exactly the same as all the other filters which work just fine (all of them have “filter logic AND”). I tried deleting the filter and making a new one but it gives me the same problem.
I’m very new to website building so I would be very grateful if you could help me figure this out!

Hello, I have a problem. I got the premium installed and also created filters for few specific categories. For example:
I’ve got category: https://sixsilver.pl/kategoria/marki Subcategory: https://sixsilver.pl/kategoria/marki/ti-sento-milano/ And I also have filter created for above category “Marki” (screenshot https://i.imgur.com/s18UMOl.jpg and https://i.imgur.com/MV1cBSj.jpg). This filter also displays at subcategories.
My problem is: When I get on the category “Marki->Ti Sento Milano” I’ve got checked checkbox (see screenshot https://i.imgur.com/gsTJWwA.jpg). I filter by attribute “Naszyjniki” and than happen magic. Plugin is unchecking “Ti Sento Milano” and checking “Naszyjniki”. This shouldn’t happen ( https://i.imgur.com/iymqiOU.jpg ).
And also at category “Marki” I shouldn’t see category “Pierścionki zaręczynowe” because at any specific category I must see this category and its subcategories filters.
Any idea how can I fix it?

I never do this to my clients, and i do so!! Hey Stepasyuk, I need to add more fields (Text fields) in SEO rules. Like (Description 2) which can be displayed above the loop. or some ACF fields like image or repeater fields. I can see that we can add ACF fields in SEO rules, but I am unable to understand how to display it on the selected page. Is there a way you can help?

You can use this code example to get URL for desired fitlers list. For the moment it displays URL with selected filters, but you can set your own $filters array and fill it with selected values for example for the Brand filter.

I did not plan to add such fields, but it seems I can add hooks or other mechanism that will allow customers to attach their custom fields to SEO Rules and display desired data on pages, that match to this SEO Rule.

I have the Pro version of the plugin. This worked great. However, the plugin now gives an error message with Elementor. If I disable your plugin everything works as it should. With the plugin activated, everything I’ve built in elementor disappears.

Thank you for your screenshots. It looks like you have the URL prefix conflict between Filter Everything PRO and your Pages. If any of your URL prefixes looks like slug of a Page it may generate this error. Please, try to check it in Filters -> Settings -> URL Prefixes and edit suspicious prefix(es).
FYI accounts with expired support period have lowest priority in service and if you still need my help with the plugin, please extend your support period.

To set License key, please go to Filters -> Settings -> License, click on the “Get your License Key” https://prnt.sc/-ehm9df3H_XT and you will be redirected to the new page. Log in there with your Envato credentials and you will see your License key for the Filter Everything PRO plugin.

Usually it is the consequence of wrong plugin configuration or maybe you have variable products and you did not enable “Use for variations” checkox in the On Sale filter.

Thank you for your credentials. This behaviour is a consequence of the wrong filter settings. You set Inlude/Exclude option in Include mode and left terms field blank – https://prnt.sc/UmNykiGBmwKt It means literally “include only 0 terms” and also you hide empty filters that’s why this filter did not appear on the page.
If changed settings to correct and it seems now it works fine. Please, check it and let me know.
Thanks, But that only fixed half the issue. Now the on sale filter shows products again, but the counter is still incorrect. Please check the following screenshot where you can see that there are 11 products on sale, while the counter only see that there are 7.

Indeed, it is a bug related with terms cache feature. When I fixed previous problem there were only 7 On sale products. It seems you added new On sale products, but they did not refreshed in term counts.
I installed current development plugin version with fixed this bug on your site. When the new version (1.7.2) will be available, just update it as usual.

Does your software support attributes with images / colors, it doesn’t seem to display an attributes with a color swatch and or manufacture / brand attribute with logos.
I tried this in your free version, wondering if this version has that extra function and or it’s a bug that needs solved yet?
This software seems very impressive otherwise and maybe even better than anything else I tested and I tested everything I can find.
If we make a purchase will you help solve this issue of not displaying attribute images, will provide you a full staging access with demo data to help you see the issue better as well.

If you want to display images for other taxonomies, you can use speical ‘Filter term html hooks’ hooks https://filtereverything.pro/resources/hooks/#term-html-hooks

You have a plugin configuration problem. Here in the Filter Set you set Pages https://prnt.sc/Z71twX8vcCwK as post type to filter. But here on your page you displayed Posts https://prnt.sc/qlM5ilNTMZad
So it is expected behaviour that plugins says “No WP Query matches to the post type “page” found on the page.” I’m not sure what you want to filter – if Posts, you have to set Posts in the Filter Set. If you want to filter Pages – you have to display Pages grid on the page, where Filters widget placed.
Please, check it carefully.

I’m having trouble correctly filtering product categories. All product categories work fine except for one which has two child product categories.
Neither of the child categories turn up posts even the post counter acknowledges that there are products in in this filter but when selected, I get the error message “no posts found”

Thank you for your credentials. I checked your site and ensured that all filter SQL queries works fine and they select correct products number from DataBase (DB). So the plugin works as expected and there is no any bugs.
You have problem maybe somewhere in your template that displays not all selected from DB products. Or you have 3rd party plugin or maybe custom code that hides some products received from DB. I recommend you to check this moment and delete/hide/modify custom code that generates this conflict.
Two separate issues I’d like some support on:
1. AJAX
When using AJAX, the posts ‘disappear’ once a selection is made. However, this is due to opacity.
.et_pb_blog_grid .et_pb_salvattore_content[data-columns] .et_pb_post { opacity: 0; }
The post content is ‘on the page’ but with the opacity set to 0.
When setting the opacity to 1 with the above css class, the layout breaks. Essentially all posts go to full width and loose any sense of column structure based on screen size.
Can you provide any support on this?
2. Returning to page position upon filtering
The filtered section is toward the end of the page. When filtered (without AJAX) the page reloads, taking the user to the top. Ideally, I want the page to scroll back to position.
I have attempted to use the wpc_auto_scroll_offset. I’m unsure of it’s intended use and this did not work anyway.
I have also attempted to use the flrt_is_filter_request to append an ID to the URL once the page has been filtered. This did not work either.

1. It seems you have some JavaScript that changes opaticy from 0 to 1 and this provides so-called “fade in” effect. After you load your filtered posts via AJAX this JS code should be fired again for newly loaded posts. This common problem is described in this article – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/ajax-related-problems/ Unfortunately it is something that CodeCanyon support policy does not cover as it depends from 3rd party code.
2. Using CSS ID in the end of filtered page URL is good idea, but it would be better to use hook ‘wpc_filter_term_url’ available in the plugin.

1. You can make existing filter buttons (that opens filters or that applies them) floating by some CSS adjustments. Out of the box plugin does not have such feature, but it is not complex to make a button floated. One of my existing customers already did it for himself, but I can not find this example right now.
2. About categories – it depends from the logic you specify for your Category filter. If you select logic “OR” it will show you 5 + 5 = 10 products. If you select logic “AND” it will show you only intersected products if they exist. In other words this is configurable feature and you can choose how each filter should work.

In general it is not included in item support scope, because every plugin user have to configure this himself. But I set correct value for the “CSS id or class of the Posts Container” of your Filter Set and now it works fine.

You can find in Filters -> Settings -> Selected Filters (Chips) integration list of WordPress hooks used for Chips integration and edit it. You can select one of WooCommerce default hooks or add your own that fires after Sort section.
Of course this expects that you are familiar with WordPress hooks or you have ask a developer to help you with this issue.

Yes, sure. It will work. But if you have a lot of products, you have to provide them with appropriate server resources. For example here https://nordic-led.no/produktkategori/belysning/led-downlights/kelvin-2000k-2800k/utsparring-83mm/produktgruppe-downlight/ are more than 6K products and powerful server and it works quickly.
Hey that is not bad, impressive, we only use powerful servers, with many caching and cdn frameworks. So that is great to see it can work well in that method as well. Do you have any docs on how I can data map, are you using taxonomies as I’m migrating from another framework as well. Thanks again for the great pre-purchase support.

About taxonomies – if you mean “does the plugin support filters by taxonomies?”, my answer is “sure, it can filter by any taxonomies – custom or WordPress built-in”

So based on what I see, which seems to be a great so far, I will need to manually set these filters up? No real way to auto create all know attributes and then control them later, like removing and or editing them?
Also I noticed you can’t seem to control the link once it’s set for the filter, it’s grey-out out, locked?
How does this works with the standard filters inside themes, elementor Woocommerce.

Sorry for the late response.
I have plans to add automatically created filters for every post type, but this will be implemented somewhere in next plugin updates and I’m not sure when exactly this will happen.
Greyed out filter means that it was created for taxonomy that is not related with selected Post type and such filter does not make sense. That’s why it is greyed out and does not appear in Filters widget.

Greyed out range filter means that custom field you use in the filter does not contain numeric values or maybe you entered wrong meta key. Please, check your custom field carefully.

I need some support, please. I have purchased the pro version and I’m pretty new to all this. The theme I’m using is Divi and for some reason, I cannot see the Filter Everything widgets in the modules menu so I had to find a different a way and thought to use shortcodes and add them to a code module but I’m not sure how to add those since there are different attributes and inputs I need to configure before I add my line of code. I’m not sure what to do and I have been trying to find a way to do this. I’m lost, please advise.

In general you have several ways to insert Filters widget on your page with Divi page builder. You can put Filters widget in desired widget area in /wp-admin -> Appearance -> Widgets and then include desired widget area in your Divi builder.
Also you can insert Filters widget as shortcode. Just add text Divi module where you want and insert there [fe_widget] This will also display Filters widget.
And also I’m not sure, but I think Divi also allows you to insert regular Wordpress widgets where you want. Amongh them you can find widget called “Filters – Filter Everything” and insert it in desired place.
In any way you use to insert Filters widget, you have to specify this page in a Filter Set in the “Where to filter?” field, otherwise you will not see this Filters widget.

1. Can I change the SEO string from /red/laptop to red-laptop? Essentially replace slashes to dashes as I filter.
2. Can I have separate filters for each category? Ex. Laptop specific filter category page and Camera specific filter category page.

1. Unfortunately no, you can not replace slashes with dashes, but I have to say that slashes divide separate filters, but not terms inside one filter. In your example it should be /color-red/category-laptop/ but not /red/laptop/
2. Yes, sure. You can create individual Filter widgets for each category with list of specific filters. For example Laptop filters will include Price, RAM, HDD capacity and Screen size and Camera filters will include Type, Diaphragm, Focal length.
