Hi Firsh, I successfully added my Flickr API Key and username associated with it however no username or option to add images from my Flickr gallery shows up when I go to insert images in a page or post.
Did you save the settings once you added the user? Did the profile avatar show up?
Yes I did, although after I just checked again it seems to have appeared after a few hours or so. Strange, I guess it takes awhile for it connect to Flickr as only now the icon with my username and avatar has just appeared even though I didn’t change any settings.
Thanks for the speedy reply though. I’m loving every bit of the plugin so far. Keep up the fantastic work.
Cool, thanks!
What account have you purchased the plugin with?
xkosmox, it was purchased yesterday
Ok.
hi Firsh
i recently purchase this item and its awesome!! but i have question is it possible for me to redirect all the images in a post?? its just like this when clicking the images it goes to show in popup what i want is to when clicking the images it goes to a post??
actually i create a template in WordPress to show all the featured images in my home page and i want it to aligned my images, that’s why i brought this item.. could you please help me to achieve my goal using your plugin i really like it..
thanks alot
There is a built in function to fetch the recent posts by featured images and link back to the posts. It’s the “recent posts” feature.
But if you want to do it manually, you’d need to enter the URL to link to in the image settings in the media editor (where you edit the title, captions etc). It’s called Custom URL
What account you used to purchase the plugin?
firsh i used this account to buy the item drdavisjr thankyou so much but i figured out the url thing and its work thanks alot
Okay!
I recently purchase this item and it its fabulous. I do have a question and have not been able to find any documentation/troubleshooting on it….
Some of my photos are portrait and using prettyPhoto, the social media buttons are hidden by the close button. I tried the various prettyPhoto themes to change but no help; I’ve also try troubleshooting the main JS file markup.
My goal..or hope was just to move it to the next line so the playback/close buttons are on one line and social media is below it so regardless the width of the photo, it does not hide the buttons.
Is this possible?
Thank you!! Tracy
I can do this as a custom job, contact me via E-mail. Or you can try editing the prettyPhoto JS file, there is its default full layout (the HTML tags) around the top. But you’ll need the closure compiler to minify it and probably also change the prettyPhoto CSS .
I am using NextGen with Justified Image Grid and have an issue which is related to the creation of thumbnails when creating a new gallery. In NextGen you do these 3 steps to create a new gallery: 1) Create a new Gallery, and select the gallery; 2) Upload images, and 3) NextGen creates new Thumbnails automatically. Now, the issue I have is that when Justified Image Grid is activated, the NextGen thumbnails are not created and NextGen generates a “Failure Occured” error message. I’ve deactivated the plugin “Justified Image Grid” which was the only new plugin I had installed recently, and tested by creating a new gallery, and the thumbnails were created without problems. I did a second test by reactivating Justified Image Grid, and NextGen did not create the thumbnails, and genereated the error message.
I think it is a JQuery issue, but will need help to fix it.
You can view how I use Justified Image Grid in my site at: marceljomphe.com
Thanks, Marcel
Why don’t you have a purchased ribbon? Send me your purchase code via my profile.
Hi,
I really like your plugin (I use it in conjunction to NextGen gallery). Good visual design. But I am missing pagination… I see I can limit the amount of pictures shown in the grid, but fail to see how I can indicate that there are more pictures in the gallery. Is this possible? I assume that pushing 100 or 200 images to one page makes the page slow or even unable to load, so pagination seems essential to me. Is that correct?
Thank you. Michel
‘Load More’ pagination comes in the next version.
v1.4 is out along with the Load more button.
I am considering buying this plugin. But I am having a few questions. Is it possible to use the script without the plugin? Calling all items in a unordered list (with jQuery) and display them with the justified grid.
Want to make a custom post type that serves images and output them with the script.
If this is possible I will definitely buy it!
Thanks.
No this is not. What you are describing would be a non-wp plugin, or a ‘jQuery plugin’. It’ll be created early 2013.
Thanks. But what if I had an object of items to add to the attribute ‘item’ in the jQuery plugin?
That would work.. perhaps. It’s currently a JSON object, generated by PHP .
Okay, having som more questions:
1. Doing it self with a object returns this “Resource interpreted as Image but transferred with MIME type text/html:”?
2. I get the same warning if I try it with the plugin?
Just to clarify; my company bought this plugin, I am the developer. Bought with this username: Schimpanz Solutions

Hi,
I’ve been searching for a solution to create an engaging grid of images on my blog and this plugin looks amazing. Just had a few questions that I’d appreciate a confirmation, I’ve looked through the plugin notes and FAQ and could not seem to find the answers
1) Can you adapt the grid so that when you click on an image it links out directly, as appose to opening the image in a preview window 2) For most of the examples it shows roll over states on the images that show text, can you shut this off, so no text appears when you hover over 3) For the spacing of the images in the grid, it appears that you can control the sizing and how many images are being used but is it possible to set up the gird to be symmetrical so that all the images take up the same space?
Thanks, Jen
1) You can link anywhere and it can open in same tab or new tab. Next version will have the possibility to open videos.
2) Yes you can turn off all effects of course. Check out the fixed preset, it has the fancy styles off.
3) No they will be keeping their aspect ratio, without much cropping. If that’s what you meant by symmetrical. You can set any spacing between them. Also a minimum height to reserve some space for the gallery before even the images load. If you have same size (same ratio) images it’s look pretty symmetrical.
Awesome plugin! Thank you for all of your help yesterday. I installed FooBox and unchecked all of the image options in FooBox’s settings except your plugin. It works perfectly and looks great on mobile devices! I’m so excited. You should get a kickback from them and recommend your plugin paired with FooBox to everyone!
Thank you! It’s set up as an affiliate thing so we both benefit with that author. Better compatibility is coming in v1.4 (more easier and overall better).
Hi Firsh,
Where can I fond the border option. I saw it was planned for October, but I can’t find it anywhere.
Thnx
It’s coming in v1.4. Didn’t make it to v1.3
v1.4 is out! You now have many options for borders.
Never mind… I figured out.
Hi, Is there any documentation on how to integrate nextgen gallery and this plug in? I’m trying to pull a gallery in to a custom post type and I’m not sure oh to select a gallery.
Thanks in advance
Hey Firsh, The plugin that I downloaded say version 1.3 instead of v1.3. Am I missing something ?
It’s the same.
Hi there,
Great plugin! Just what I was looking for. Just had a few questions. I’m editing the main settings, but every time I do. It confirms the save on the next screen, but when I click on the preset to double check, it defaults back to the original settings.
Also I’ve tried to insert recent posts into one of my pages as a grid but nothing is showing up?
BTW I ’m using Chrome Version 23.0.1271.91 and WordPress 3.4.2
Thanks
Show me the page. Make sure you use featured images on the posts in order for them to show up.
What you were doing on the settings actually reloaded preset x onto your preset x BASED settings. So just choose a preset you like, then edit the settings, then click save. Do not click on the preset buttons after that or you’ll lose your manual settings an reload the original preset(s) (which can’t be changed). Also if you set everything up in the plugin settings, do not use the preset shortcode attribute.
Firsh,
First off, your plugin is WONDERFUL and you are so fast at answering questions. Thank you!
I have a few galleries set up on my site. The galleries are set to run as a swipe by default when being accessed by mobile. On my phone it typically shows up black from a blog post such as http://www.weclicktexas.com/corpuschristi/ and it doesn’t swipe consistently on the galleries such as http://www.weclicktexas.com/photogallery/portraitgallery/.
Is there a setting I should use? Do I need to start over? BTW , I am using WPTouch Pro for the mobile plugin.
THANK YOU !!
What do you mean by black and not consistent? Are you using the built in photoswipe option? Do you have the error when exiting that? What is WPTouch Pro.
I was setting the mobile option to default, but this morning I added a second gallery to the same post and set the mobile to photoswipe. The orig. is set to Flickr.
I clicked on the new gallery, received a black screen, went back, and there was an error on the page “The element is invisible or too thin. Tabs/AJAX sites are unsupported. (Justified Image Grid).”
I am on a Motorola android phone.
As far as inconsistent, on fixed height gallery, it loads a photo swipe gallery and the swipe doesn’t work well. It gets caught up. You can move the picture, but it does not advance to the next image, or it goes backwards. It’s very jumpy and not smooth if it does change images.
WPTouch Pro is a plugin I’m using to make a mobile site much more user friendly and readable. I was wondering if the swipe doesn’t work with this plugin for some reason?? http://www.bravenewcode.com/product/wptouch-pro/
I don’t know as I didn’t create PhotoSwipe, can you ask its developer? It can be slow, e.g. it’s really slow on my iPhone 3G (but the phone itself is slow too). For the “too thin”, I have a solution, if you contact me via E-mail I’ll send it to you.
Alternatively, you can try the paid lightbox, FooBox that is responsive and is cool on devices too. Better compatibility is coming in the next update.
Please tell this is possible! Please!
Sorry, no, never heard of it.
Didn’t think so. It just happened a few months ago. What is does is amazing. I would love to be able to be able to take your large image format and do in-image advertising this way. These guys are receiving VC money. Each “publisher” of photographs can tag their pics whatever way they please. It has tracking features well beyond what I would expect. Of course, I can always link out from your gallery (which I love visually) to a specific HTML page and use it. I just wanted you to see it. I can not see any blogger not wanting this. This is much more valuable than clicking from your gallery to a lightbox. No contest.
I am in thanks for the reply.
Dear Author,
Before I make the purchase, there is a bit I am confused about, the recent posts feature. Since there are no demos of the feature either. So…
1. Does the recent posts appear in a form or a grid of images or only in form of slider. I hope it is the former feature cause there are way too many sliders out there.
2. Can the post thumbnails be pulled from other specific categories too. ? Perhaps a bit of modification in code ?
Thanks in advance
There is a demo:
http://justifiedgrid.com/v1-3-flickr-recent-posts-photoswipe-hidden-limit-social-gallery/The first 1 row gallery is the recent posts feature, but it can be many rows as well.
1. It’s not a slider, it’s the grid.
2. Yes you can include or exclude categories. It’ll pull the most recent x (set by you) posts from those categories.
Hi Firsh,
do you have a non-Wordpress version of the script? Or is it possible to use the gallery outside of Wordpress, aswell?
- Jonas
Not yet and no. It’s on the to-do however.
Thanks for your quick response.
I’ll use it for Wordpress then. However, I’d love to have a non Wordpress version, too!
- Jonas
When it’s out it’ll be advertised here.
Thanks so much for this fantastic plugin. I am using NextGen for my images so that I can create an album with nested galleries.
The galleries are displayed but when I click the gallery the page just reloads.
I have tried to enable permalinks in NextGen options and click Proceed ‘Create new URL friendly image slugs but whenever I save the options it defaults back to being un selected.
I have also switched the wp permalinks back and forth.
The site is on a WP Network install. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Other than enabling permalinks and doing the ‘reset’ on the wp permalink I don’t have any other idea. Maybe you have shiba plugin installed or something else that affects ‘routing’? If you don’t succeed, contact me via E-mail.
