Pre Sale Question:

We need for trade fair three days booking possibilities with 5-10 consultants each (appointment approx. 30 minutes).

Is that possible? With costum fields? Is there anywhere a example for such a thing: to book appointments with different consultants on the same day at the same time?

Thanks for reaching out.

You should be able to create 5-10 consultants as staff members. Each of the staff members will have their own schedule. And the system will offer the schedule of the selected consultant (staff member) in the Timestep. Once the staff member is booked for a particular time for a service, for example, Service Awesome at 10am on Tuesday, it will no longer be available or no timeslots will be offered for the other service the staff member provides, for example, Service Amazing at 10am on Tuesday. However, if other staff members are assigned to the same service, i.e.: Service Awesome, then the system will offer the same timeslot since the other staff member is still available to provide the same service, i.e.: Service Awesome at 10am on Tuesday.

If the service (trade fair) will only be available for three days, you can mark the entire year as a day off for all staff members except those three days. Otherwise, please check the Bookly Special Days Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212817929-Special-Days-Add-on. It allows you to set a custom schedule, including breaks that are different from default working hours/days for individual staff members. And this shift on special days from the default weekly schedule will apply to all staff members’ services. So you can set the staff members’ weekly schedule to OFF and only set availability during the trade fair.

As regards duration, you can set the service duration to 30 minutes.

Kindly note that Bookly is designed to work with a weekly schedule. The schedules you set up for the staff members are their consistent availability moving forward – for each and every week. So timeslots offered in the front-end booking form are founded on these schedules. And the time slot interval or how the hours are divided and presented in the booking form is based on the time slot length.

Hi there. We need a plugin like this, but have some very specific requests. Hope you can answer.

1) our client only allows bookings From Mondays and Fridays. If Monday, it can only be for a minimum 4 nights. If Friday, it can be for 3 nights, or 7 nights. Nothing in between.

2) We need to be able to assign any given date(s) an alert message. Such as “adults only when this date is chosen”.

Can this do those options?

However, I’m not sure I fully grasped your concern. When you say allow bookings, does it mean that the customer can only book either Monday or Friday? Is that correct?

Not all countries and mobile operators allow custom sender IDs due to the local regulations. If custom sender ID is not supported in the destination country, the message will be sent using a generic number of the SMS gateway.

Request the Sender ID name via your Bookly Cloud account > SMS Notifications > Sender ID, and if it’s supported by the country and operator of the recipient, it will be displayed.

yeah ive been told that before but that doesent mean that the word BOOKLY has to be on my caller id i dont care what number is up there as long as its not your name. my employees and clients arent supposed to see your name because they are booking with me nit with you.

these .25 .75 1.00 fees for txt messages are outrageous you promoting your brand to my clients isent in our agreement.

its bad enough that you parade your propaganda in the dashboard at the top. with the support buttons

twillio is .0007 so your charging 1000x and that is beyond shameful but your not gonna enable that

no api access to info so we cant pull name, appointment date, time, category or service and you dont care at all to fix it..

1. It’s possible to create a calendar for each doctor. 2. Give de ability doctor to manage only his calendar by login in front end. 3. Each doctor and his clients receive notifications. 4. Each client can manage their appointment by login in front end.

Last question : its possible that the doctors pay a subscription to manage theire calendar.

If this is an intermediary business wherein you are providing a website as a platform where users (doctors) can sell their services, you would need to use an Extended license. Please check the difference between the Regular and Extended licenses at this link: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005593363-Do-I-need-a-Regular-License-or-an-Extended-License-.

As Bookly Pro is installed on the WordPress website, the admin panel is one and there is no option to separate it for the vendors.

Perhaps you will need to set up WordPress Multisite environment which allows you to run and manage multiple WordPress sites or blogs from a single WordPress installation. But please note that in this case, you will need to use the Bookly Multisite Add-on as well: https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-multisite-addon/13903524. It allows you to use the same copy of Bookly on multiple websites with each site of your network will have its own database that doesn’t interact in any way. Thus, each site has its own set of staff members, services, and settings that do not overlap. And payments go to each site in the network, not to the network admin. So you will need to provide the purchase code for the Bookly plugins for each new site you add in the future.

Otherwise, please check if the Bookly Staff Cabinet Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003349989-Staff-Cabinet-Add-on will work. It allows your providers/staff members/employees to manage their bookings, own calendar, view and update details, manage services (create appointments), prices, schedule, days off, and special days (if installed), as well as export their calendar information into a CSV file without access to the WordPress admin panel. However, please note that the creation of services is, at this time, possible in the back-end through admin only.

This is possible by pre-defining and hiding fields when publishing the booking form. So you can choose which fields you’d like to keep or hide from the first or Service step in the booking form. You won’t be deleting all the info associated with it by hiding a field as it will only be hidden from the customer’s view. Kindly note that when “Categories of services, Services, and Employee” are hidden, it requires a default value chosen because each appointment must have each of those properties. This lets you comply with the GDPR requirements since they can view, update and delete their personal information, and remove their customer profile.

So version 5.0 is already cool with the new booking window. But why can you book there at the end now only and then stands the appointment.

But now not as with the old form, goes pay and co yes garnicht more and no address input and so on.

Hi, is it somehow possible to hide service in calendar or make one calendar with only one service displayed?

Explanation: We use Bookly as a booking system for our employees (internal web). On one page, we want to let them book “Appointment with director”, on the other page, we want to let them Book timeslot for “Change PC”.

But we dont want them too see possibility of changing the PC in calendar where they can book Appointment with director. So what we want is separate calendar with only option – PC Change.

I know, we can set default value for service, but thats not enough. We want one specific service to be visible only in one placement of the bookly calendar, but we want this service to be excluded from the list of services everywhere else.

Hi again, thank you for answer and your effort.

I think this solution unfortunately doesnt solve our issue, because in the future, we will have more categories (It services, appointments with director, company events…) so we cant just hide category option.

If we hide servise category on page where employes can ask for new computer, this category will be still visible on page where they can book appointment with director. (and there will be more categories in the future so we cant hide category field)

So better options would be to have two separate calendars or having possibility to choose which services I want to display on specific page. Maybe via unique shortcode?

Is there any add-on that can help us with this or do you have any other ideas?

2. You can use any translations plugin to make these changes and these won’t be lost after the Bookly update. For example, you can use this one for tests https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ or with the help of Poedit software: https://poedit.net/.

3. Bookly works pretty well with 1000 staff members and over 10k appointments in the database.

1) I need more stats. Is there a dedicated section or module?

2) Can a user book multiple services simultaneously and can the bookly administrator create multiple services on behalf of the customer simultaneously and not individually?

2) Customers could book more time slots in the same session with the Cart Add-on (and other add-ons depending on what you need). This option is not available for administrators.

If I set “the Create WordPress user account for customers” option enabled in Settings – Customers, the user phone number and address is not being added to the wordpress user profile. How to fix that? the only thing that is populating over is user firstname, lastname, and email. I need the address and phone number populated also
