Any idea why this wouldn’t be showing on mobile? Disabled caching but still only show on Desktop.

Hello, I guess that you are refering to the preview map becasue it seems that you didn’t make a purchase yet. But I can confirm that both the preview and premium map plugins work very well on mobile.

If you have any concern and need any assictance please contact us directly. Kind regards

Pre-purchase question: Can i use anchors to link to info on the same page?

Any answer? I need to propose this to a client…

Hello, If you mean that you have sections in the page and each section has an ID, then you can use that anchor as a link for states in the map dashboard, like this (#california). so when someone clicks a state the page will jump to the corresponding section.

Notes:
1. creating sections with IDs is out of the map plugin scope.
2. I suggest that you take a look at the modal window option, there you can add as much information as you want in the modal window which opens when someone clicks a state, please watch this video for more details.
3. We recommend that you download the free trial version and test it before you purchase the premium map plugin.

Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions.

Hello nice plugin, i want to purchase Saudi Arabia maps and make clickable for different links, kindly advise what should purchase . Thank you

Hello, thanks for your comment.

Hi, I am using the demo version to see if we want to go ahead with this plugin, using it with the modal is great, however we want to be able to display information outside of the map, is this possible please? i.e. We want to have the map in one column, then a section in another column that updates based on the state clicked on the map, as opposed to a modal, is this possible please?

I’m afraid we can’t help you to display information outside the map.
However, the Popup Maker plugin that we use with the map to display modal windows has different options to position the modal window including “Fixed Positioning” and “Position from Trigger”.
Note: we don’t have full knowledge about the Popup Maker plugin options so we suggest that you try it yourself.

Hi, I’m curious if you can provide maps for the Dallas Fort Worth area where the individual cities are clickable? Perhaps, I could provide a list of the cities we would want included?

Hi, yes we create custom maps, please contact us through this page to discuss your requirements. Regards

Okay, thank you … it’s for one of those ‘maybe projects’ and won’t know if it’s a go for a while

Our site’s home page is getting dinged on Google’s PageSpeed Insights because of code for the map, but we don’t have the map displaying on the home page. Is there a way to only load the plugin’s code on the page it is on and not the entire site?

Hi, the map files are loaded only on the page where you place the shortcode. You can privately send us a link to your website through the contact form here and we will check that for you.

Aside note: we tested our map on Google’s PageSpeed Insights and on GTmetrix and got ‘A’ grade.

Sorry, I should have updated this. I saw a reference to a script calling a list of states and assumed that was the map plugin, instead it was a field in a form. You’re good!

Perfect, we appreciate your feedback.

Hi, does anyone have issues with uploading the interactive map to wordpress? I downloaded the Zip file and uploaded it but it states it was not successfully uploaded.

Hi, in your downloads page, you have 2 options:
1. Download the installable plugin “us-map.zip” file.
2. Download the whole item package. Unpack its content on your computer, inside you will find:
  • The installable plugin “us-map.zip” file.
  • The documentation folder.
  • A folder for “Multiple Maps” includes us-map-ii.zip, and us-map-iii.zip. Simple and useful video tutorials about using the map.
You need to upload and install the installable map plugin file (us-map.zip).

We have the map showing states in different color groups (green, blue, red, orange, etc.) We are trying to find a way to further differentiate between similar group states. One idea is to add stripes overlay on top of the existing state color. For example, if states TX, LA, NY, CA are using green color, we want only NY to show stripes but still have green fill. Is this possible?

Hi, you can’t use color stripes but you can use different shades of a color, eg. you can use light green for TX, LA, CA and use dark green for NY.
As you see in our live map preview we use different shades of blue.

Getting this error on the admin page, map not working.

Undefined index: enbl_1 in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/us-map/design/admin.php on line 17

Hi, I can see that you purchased the map plugin 5 years ago, and I guess you are moving to a new website (as you may know you need to purchase another license if you want to use an item in another website).
It seems that your website is in testing and debugging mode so please make sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false in your wp-config and try again.
If you need any help, please email us.

Trying to upload/install the plugin but get a “The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.” error. Why is that?

Hi, in your downloads page, you have 2 options:
1. Download the installable plugin “us-map.zip” file.
2. Download the whole item package. Unpack its content on your computer, inside you will find:

  • The installable plugin “us-map.zip” file.
  • The documentation folder.
  • A folder for “Multiple Maps” includes us-map-ii.zip, and us-map-iii.zip.
  • Simple and useful video tutorials about using the map.

We’d like something similar to this page – https://www.waypointrei.com/properties/

A Map showing our 3 locations including headquarters. Then for each state, we operate in, the number of units we have. When clicked on, the landing page should be a portfolio view of and details of that property. If we can delineate on the map between student housing and multifamily would be great.

is that possible?

Hi, our map plugin is devided into clickable states and does not have an option to add clickable pins. You can download our free trial and check our map preview and read the description to see if it works for you.

To hide the small state callouts I had to hack the map.php plugin file using the technique shown in the demo video. So I have to re-hack with each plugin update? Why no setting in the UI to hide the callouts, with the custom color that I assigned to the map background—if the callouts must be ‘covered’ rather than removed altogether.

I find it strange this basic control isn’t programmed, but requires a user hack.

Thanks very much for your feedback. I completely understand your concern but please note that the actual map graphics is preset as SVG shapes so hiding or removing part of a state would normally require editing the map SVG graphics but we added this simple trick to give our customers a quick and easy way to hide those callout boxes.

We understand that we can add many new useful options in the UI but on the other hand we need to keep the map dashboard as simple as possible so we have to weigh the importance of each feature for all customers.

Fortunately, you managed to apply that trick even without contacting us, and don’t worry we don’t release major updates very frequently (unless we have big new feature) so you won’t need to update the plugin very frequently.

Thanks again for your feedback, we always listen to our customers to enhance our plugin :)

Hi – is it possible, when clicking on a county, to not have to use it on a whole new page? Like if I drilled down into the county, can I just populate an area on the page with the given information? Or, at least, open it in maybe, a modal window so that it appears to be seamless?

Also, is there a demo version of the states?

The 50 Individual US State Maps Package include 50 individual US state map WordPress plugins, each state map is divided into clickable counties.

The integration with modal window plugins is a new feature that we added to our maps in version 2.3.0. So that’s applied for the US map while the state maps still on version 2.2.5 but we are working on updating the state map plugins and expecting to release the update within a week (note: once you make a purchase, you get free life-time updates).

Each state map has a live demo (eg. Pennsylvania) but if you mean a free trial, no but you can download and try the free version of the US Map which works the same for all the states (except the 8 mentioned states with 100+ counties as mentioned in the description), please read the description for more details.

OK! Excellent! Thank you! That’s Awesome!

Hi, presale question please; Can this nifty Interactive map use to showcase Africa with ability to zoom into a specific country to filter associated news contents?

Thanks in anticipation.

With regards

Hi, the map here is a US map with clickable states.
You may be interested in the Interactive Map of Africa, it is divided into clickable countries but it does not have a zoom feature.

is there an option te have more then 3 instances? i need at leat 10 us maps? thank you in advance

Hi, the plugin comes with 3 installable instances.
Please email us for more information.

To install the latest version I understand I need to deactivate and delete my current version. If I do that, will I lose all of my settings on the map? I have custom colors applied to the entire map. Thanks!

Hi, the latest version is v2.3.1, if you use v2.2.0 or newer version, your existing customization should be kept after the update.
Please read the Changelog in the map description for more details and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need any help.

Hi! Interested, but could you include Puerto Rico as it is an Unincorporated Commonwealth State of the United State? Basically a US territory and not an independent country. The other US territories as well, but at least Puerto Rico as it is the closes referred to as state.

Hi, yes, we can add Puerto Rico to the map, please contact us for more details.

Hello, I purchased your plugin, I am from Romania an I want to instal this plugin in to a ROmanian website, so, I need the map with Romania not with USA. Can you help me and provide the Romanian map? Thanks in advance!

This is a US Map Plugin. You may be interested in the Interactive Map of Romania. Regards

Hello, thanks for your answer, yes, I need the maps of Romania, so, can I make refound or you can make the changes, becouse I dont need the US map. Let me know. Regards!

I’m sorry we do not issue a refund due to change of mind or if you don’t need it after download. [Refund Policy]
Thanks for understanding.

The map works great on the first page I put the short code on but when I put the short code on a second page it was only grey and did not retain the colors. It however retain the links.

Hi, you should be able use the shortcode in different pages as you wish to display a fully working map. we replied to your email for further assistance.

I am working on a website in Elementor for which I need the map of Romania and 6 fields with percentages displayed at the bottom of the map. The counties will be represented by 6 colors, which will correspond to the percentages in the fields below (more percentages = a more strident color, less percentages = a lighter color). All of these must be connected to an API that will deliver the figures. Can i do this with this plugin?

Hi, no it may not work for you because:
1. This is a US Map Plugin. You may be interested in the Interactive Map of Romania.
2. You need to manually customize the colors through the map dashboard.

I recommend that you download any of our free trial maps including World Map to see how its works.
Regards
