Issue on version 1.9.30: the settings popup does not open. I see that there is this alert on console: GEThttps: ../wp-content/plugins/wordpress-gdpr/public/js/wordpress-gdpr-public.js?ver=1.9.30

Hi, I have renewed but I forgot the password to login to your website; if I click on ‘Lost your password’ I am redirected to a 404 not found page…
Please send a mail to support@welaunch.io
Email sent 3 hours ago but I haven’t received any reply…
In the meantime I have discovered and fixed the JS issue but on the Setting Popup I still have a problem: each text string is prepended by a strange text, something like a shortcode…
Please reply to our mail.
Hi there, I have some presale questions. Is it posible to create a custom layout for cookie consent popup? Is it compatible with elementor page builder? Thank you.
We have 4 popup styles pre built in our plugin. Otherwise you can still use some custom CSS of course
Thank you for your response, is it posible to attach me a scrinshot with the layouts? There is the option for widget view on the corner of website?
Hey, quick pre sales question, how big a file size will be added to each of my pages? Trying to optimise for CWV.
You mean css and js?
I think so (sorry I am not a coder). My thinking is, by adding this plugin, it needs to be loaded all all pages (or only the home page?) – it it needs to load on all pages, then it will add some files to each page. If those files have to load each time, I am worried, if the files are too big, it might impact CWV. Hope I’ve explained myself a bit better.
This is less than 100kb so it should not affect your page losing very much.
Hello, i needed some functions that the plugin doesn’t provide (“nessecary” button option), so i don’t want/need the plugin and i would like a refund. Can you please tell me how i can claim refund?
What function / button do you mean?
To have the “neseccary” cookies option as a button, and also as on option (always enabled). We have only accept all/ decline all, we need “neseccary only” button.
We have that – it is called “My Preferences” button. You can rename that to whatever you like.
Where is this option?
You can add a 3rd button? I can’t find it…
I am in a rush on delivering the site. So are you going to refund me or should i give a rating and move forward ?
Hello, see here: https://imgur.com/a/5Qi4cX3
Hi there, how should i manage Adsense/doubleclick cookies with your plugin ? thanks
You simply create a service for these scripts and place the cookies into that service
Hi, I have two presale question. In the popup I only see the “accept all cookies” and reject all cookies “buttons. The” accept only selected cookies “button is missing?
Are cookies blocked automatically by the plugin (e.g. google tag manager) or is it necessary to insert the script manually? Thanks
Hi
1) When you click on “My Preferences” you can set individual cookie settings: https://demos.welaunch.io/wordpress-gdpr/?gdpr=debug
2) You just need to move them from your site into our GDPR services – that is it
Hello, I have a question about “Trigger Icon” Can it be set to appear only on the home page? I want the “Trigger Icon” to disappear from the other pages Best regards
Hmm no sorry that is not possible yet.
Thanks for this update too
Keep up your good work!
Thanks
Should be possible to add a class on the active category tab on the left in the cookie preferences popup, so we can add custom css to hilight it? thanks
Done – added “wordpress-gdpr-popup-privacy-settings-service-category-active” for next version. If you need a beta, send a mail to support@welaunch.io
Thanks for the super quick reaction! For a future release, the first service category tab should already have that class when you open the popup as it is already active/selected by default.
Yes sure
Hello, not being very practical, I would be interested in purchasing the plugin but I would need some precise information: 1) are the privacy and cookie policy automatically generated? 2) is the scanning of the cookies of the wordpress blog platform done in order to find them all or is it necessary to add the missing ones by hand? 3) are the logs related to the consent separated between the user requesting it (personal data) and the eventual exposure to the competent bodies, therefore cumulative? (all users) Does the plugin work well also on mobile devices? Is the plugin updated as required by EU legislation (Italy specifically) to January 10, 2022 with the latest provisions of the privacy guarantor? Thank you very much.
1) Yes with a default text of course, you need to adjust
2) Nope but you can use any free cookie scanner tool
3) Ehm if we understood correctly then yes
4) Yes mobile is supported
5) We have a consent log for logged out users implemented yet. Also working on improve this.
Hello, I intend to buy your plugin for multiple websites but I have read that it does not yet have the possibility to save all the consents chosen by users which in Italy is mandatory. How long will it take to get this update? If I use your plugin I am not in compliance with the GDPR and I am on the razor’s edge of the law which is January 2022. Can you give me a time? thank you
This new functionality is already built in within lastet update.
Thank you for your answer, I did some tests but I saw that the access date is missing but it is mandatory, it must be there because it is necessary to keep user consents for 6 months. It is also impossible to download the data because the action is missing but, in Italy, it is mandatory to export the register if requested by the authorities. Do you think you can solve these problems? Thank you
The access date is saved inside the database. Downloading will be available in next version.
hello in the logget out user log miss timestamp with date and hour, user agent and page url when the banner is accept or decline..
Sure we will add this as an improvement in next versions.

Any update to be compliant with GDPR regulation law?
Our plugin is compliant with current GDPR rules – however we have plans to add that special Italian GDRP rule soon.
Than you
Hello, this request is not about requesting assistance, but highlighting that according to the new GDPR regulation, it would require changes. According to the new GDPR legislation modification on January 2022, it’s mandatory to save all consents choice for each user. This plugin saves only the consents choice for registered users. Will be available a new plugin upgrade to include the new GDPR requirements ? If yes, in how many days will be available ? at the moment those who use this plugin are not compliant with GDPR regulation law. Thank You.
We are working on that right now.
Hello, thank you. I just test the new release 1.9.28 the logged out user now are in the log list, but is missing the action to export data log if required by the authorities, the consent log will have to be exported. Moreover, the date of access is also missing, according to the new regulations, as stated in section 6.2, you must keep the users’ consents for 6 months, and therefore not display the banner again if that user reconnects within 6 months. Another fundamental change concerns google analytics cookies, as reported in paragraph 7.2, The Garante stated in its May 2014 decision that such identifiers, known as analytics cookies, belong with the category of technical cookies and may accordingly be used without the data subject’s prior consent providing certain conditions are met, for this point maybe we can set the analytics google cookies as technical in the service setting group.
here is the link of new regulation:
https://www.garanteprivacy.it/home/docweb/-/docweb-display/docweb/9677876#englishThanks again
We will add that export option asap
Would it be possible to add more lines / columns in the page so that one could add links to addtional resources like acceptable use policy or content complains?
Sorry what page exactly do you mean?
hello how it works pixelyoursite plugin? does your plugin automatically recognize and block pixelyoursite cookie or should the code be put in the gdpr settings?
In services make sure you check “is pixel your site”. Then it will block it according to pixel your site.
so i can keep the pixelyoursite plugin active and the cookies i leave them in the plugin pixel i don’t put them in the gdpr?
You have to put cookies into a new service, check “is pixelyoursite” and keep pixel your site plugin.
i have to put script in the service too or just cookie name?
Only the cookies
Thank you for this new update!
Sure
according to the new legislation in force since January 10, all consents or refusals of users must be saved in the database so not only those of registered users as your plugin currently does. Is there a plugin upgrade? It is very important because otherwise it does not comply with the new gdpr
Please send us a link to that new legislation. As far as we know the IP is not allowed to be saved.
in the popup for the privacy settings there is no button to save the individual settings so if I exit with the x and return the single setting has not been saved. It is only possible to choose to accept or reject all cookies
Settings get saved automatically, there is also a message appearing.
should be better if appeared a button to save… some users dont understant how to close popup … other thing: please answer me to email support.. i bought license to receive answers… thank you
Maybe yes – our dev support does not work on weekends. Please understand.
