I am trying to install the instagram-journal pluggin. It works for the user, but when I setup for tags (I want all “grill” tags for my user) then I get the following error:
A 400 error has occured attempting to fetch your hashtag. Please check your credentials and try again.

ALSO when I navigate to “Instagram Journal” in the Wordpress menu, all I can do is enter the API key and save it. In the documentation video, it looked like there should be more to see/do once activated.

Thanks for reaching out, I’ll be happy to help. The shortcode generator is found on the actual add/edit page/post section of the wordpress admin. There you have access to 50+ options.
As for tag use, this is limited to who Instagram decides to allow. I have no control over if Instagram allows you to use tag mode.

Yes, I just downloaded it yesterday. Also, on smaller screens the feed is showing partial IG posts (like they are cut off). Mobile works fine.

1. The API is read only and only shows photos in sets of 25. That said, if you want only 24, you can use my limit parameter and set it to 24. Limiting will however remove the load more button as it’s limiting the total count to 24.

Thanks for reaching out. I’ll be happy to help. You’re seeing this because you’re trying to install the envato full package and not the plugin. Instead, open the envato package and install the folder labeled “plugins/instagram-journal”.

Thanks for reaching out. I’ll be happy to help. To install, simply open the file given to you by envato and locate the folder labeled “plugin”. Then just either ftp or zip this up to you wordpress admin panel.
You’d install this the same way you’d install any other plugin. Does this make sense?

You just need to go to the page youd like to use the plugin on and use the built in shortcode generator.

1. Yes, you can display an unlimited amount of photo feeds on a single page. As for the fancybox, each gallery has it’s own group of photos for fancybox. For example: userA feed will have a popup and only userA photos will be in that fancybox set.
2. Currently, this is not an editable feature but if this is something you need, I could certainly provide you with a custom upgrade.
3. Yes, however with my experience, it never works too well doing this given the limited amount of real estate and the variable length of the captions. At some point it always end up breaking the layout.
