Hey, when I open the URL of my website I have this message : This client has not been approved to access this resource. What should I do to do not have this message again? Best regards, Laurent

You can get a token using the tool mentioned in the documentation. It has been designed to support the recent API changes.

Hi, everything seems to be working, but I’m getting a message “This endpoint has been retired” every time I open my website. What could go wrong?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, if you’re trying to use usermode to pull photos other than the one that matches your access token, you will receive that notification. Due to the security compromise at Facebook, they have removed that ability from the API.

The good news is that everything still works usermode, hashtags, locations, contest. You will just need to get tokens for usermode and multiuser mode.

Hello I spoke to you about the “liked” mode having issues since the new API from instagram. Has there been any insight into that feature?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. What issue/error message are you receiving?

xxcriversxx

I am having a problem with the “liked” mode. I see that some other people are having similar issues. I get the error: This endpoint has been retired.

Ok, that’s exactly what I needed. Yes, in lieu of the recent Facebook privacy issue, the liked mode will no longer be supported by the API. All other modes work just fine so let me know if there is any other way I can assist.

hi, is it possible with your plugin to show the feed of other users (that i don’t manage and I don’t have access)?

Hi,

Thanks for your interests. Yes, this plugin allows you to use photos from any users feed without access via hashtag, location and userid.

The only feature that is currently unavailable is our multiuser mode which in the past allowed you to specify multiple userids and the photos would be pulled in for each. We are currently working on a workaround for that mode but all other modes should do the trick for you. Let me know if you need any assistance getting started!

Thanks for your answer! I’m trying to get my token from dvelopers instagram site, where else?

Thanks for clarifying. The Instagram developers site only provides a client ID and not an access token. Instead, please get one using my premium tool below.

Hi. I’ve been using your plugin with no issues and now all of a sudden the feed is replaced with an error message “Configuration error or no pictures…” See footer here https://sointheknow.com/. Any ideas?

Hi,

I’ll be happy to take a look. Your support appears to be expired unfortunately. Go ahead and renew and I’ll be happy to troubleshoot this for you.

Hello!

I’m looking for a GDPR compliant way to show an Instagram feed on a wordpress Website.

Therefor I would like to know if Instagram Journal stores all pictures from the instagram feed locally on the webserver – or if the website visitor’s browser loads the pictures for the feed thumbnails from Instagram’s CDN.

Thank you in advance

Hi,

Thanks for your interests. No, we do not store photos as this would be a violation of the API terms. Instead, it leverages caching to decrease load on the API and renders photos when the visitor views your website. Let me know if you have anything additional or would like a complementary installation.

Best,
