I´m trying to do my own app but at the end, on the setup panel of the app, when press the CONNECT FACEBOOK PAGES now shows a windows saying that it needs the permissions “user_posts and pages_show_list” to continue. How can I fix this? Regards
The exact message is “Invalid Scopes: pages_show_list, user_posts. This message is only shown to developers”

Please update your facebook app creation documentation. Facebook has changed the way they do things and the interface no loner resembles what you have listed in your documentation. Your app stopped working for me and I can no longer get it to work because the saved tokens have disappeared. I can not get them back because I’m lost with creating a new facebook app

I have to reinstall the plugin in my website and when trying to get the Facebook Api Credentials to setup all again, using the “User our app” option redirect me to a new windows and shows the error “The app was not configured. This app is still under development and you do not have the necessary permissions to access it. Change your account to that of a registered test user or request access to the app from the administrator.” Can you help me with this? Thanks a lot! (The app is updated to the last version available)

As long as we are working to fix this issue, you need to reconnect your Facebook and Instagram accounts to the plugin using (your own App) method explained in the following guidelines:

Great Plugin, a few pre-sale queries:
1) For a multisite setup with sub-folders, will one licences suffice?
2) On the display output how can one mix the streams so that it doesen’t list for instance the first 10posts of one feed then the other but instead it lists each feeds one by one post as it alternates?
3) How frequent does the plugin update the feeds, is it automatic or can someone determine the frequency?
4) Whats is the toll of on resources/server, what is best recommended way of listing hundreds of feeds?

1. You need one license per main domain. If you are using WP multisite to run multiple subdomains under one domain, you only need one license. (For example, product1.mysite.com; product2.mysite.com; product3.mysite.com.) On the other hand, if you’re using WP multisite to run different sites on different domains, you’ll need one license for each site. 2. The plugin merges the items on the social stream by date or random (based on your choice). It always merges items from different networks. Example https://axentmedia.com/ax-social-stream/carousel-demo-3/
3. You can set the cache lifetime within the plugin settings. The social stream will get updated by revisiting the page again.
4. You can not list hundred of feeds in one social stream at least 10 feeds in one social stream on one page. Servers resources will not allow you. But you can have multiple social streams on multiple pages.

1. The plugin has not such a feature to make selections but you may want to customize it by yourself.
2. If these social streams are loading in Ajax mode, it is possible but if they all get loaded in the first page load for sure it will take a long time and heavy process on your server that may not be possible.

Hi, My answer was for #4 as well. If the social streams in the drop-down menu are going to be loaded in Ajax mode, it is possible but if they all are getting loaded in the first page load, it will take a long time and heavy process on your server that may not be possible.

Hi. After last update of plugin Thumbnails from Facebook lead to the page of my site (where they are posted) but not to the source on Facebook. On a site where I did not update the plugin, everything is fine. Thank you.
That is, if I uncheck the box in the setting «Open media in a lightbox window» then the link from the photo leads to the page of my site in a new tab. On mobile devices, unintentional clicks on a photo are possible. If there was an option to make a photo as a link to the source, it would be nice. If I am wrong, please correct me.
