I don’t see the social sharing options appears on the lightbox? I guess I have to select it somewhere but I don’t find it. Can you help me ?
It is using your theme’s prettyphoto, maybe. Make sure you disable/remove that, and select prettyphoto in my plugin’s settings as lightbox.

I keep getting this error “Your jQuery version (1.3.2) is old, this plugin needs at least 1.7, please go to the plugin settings and choose another jQuery source. If this does not work then your theme or a plugin is not using WordPress best practices and forces the loading of an old version. In that case contact the author of Justified Image Grid.”
I’ve changed where the plugin gets the jquery from and also added a plugin to update the sites Jquery and still it will not work.

i purchased the plugin today and it really works fine. But if i enable the integrated lightbox, the image will open 2 times, if i click on a thumnail. It opens with the nggallery lightbox and with the integrated lightbox. How can i disable the ngallery lightbox and just use the Justified Image Grid-Box? Thanks Volker
This is specific to your site and another lightbox interferes with mine. Remove the other if you can. My plugin can’t disable it for you but you can disable my plugin’s lightbox. What do you mean by nggalery lightbox? Nextgen’s own?
Hi! I need some help for setting the plugin. I’m using it with NextGen and this Colorbox plugin: jQuery Colorbox. I would like to continue to use it ‘cause it’s easy to set styles to lightboxes. Can you please help me to with the right code to insert in Link class and Link rel settings? The plugin works but images don’t get grouped so it’s impossible to navigate them once the lightbox is open. Another thing please: NextGen pagination is really needed! When I bought this nice plug-in I thought it was supported but I just discovered it’s not: my galleries (but probably evreybody’s NextGen galleries) have tons of images and I need to split them in different pages!!! Thank you very much.
‘Load more’ type of pagination is planned, possibly in the next version.. For your colorbox issue, this plugin has it built in so uninstall/remove other colorbox plugins. The rel is automatic and it’ll group your pictures together by default. You don’t need to set anything in the rel or class.

Great, really great. After using it for a few days I’m really satisfied. I have 1 more request for a future update, just a usefull idea if you like: in the settings, the chance to save the final personal setting so it will be easy to get it back if needed. Thanks again.
If you set up the gallery in the shortcode editor you can save the shortcode for later use. Anyway I’ll consider tweaking the preset system.
That’s an idea but when managing different sites it’s difficult to remember if and where you recorded the shortcodes…
Do you mean a way to export the settings to a file and import them later?
That can be a solution if it’s easier for you to do it. But probably best thing would be to have it visible in the settings panel; so you can save many with different names and activate them when needed: you know, sometimes clients wants something then later they change their mind, then change again and again ah ah ah… Thank you very much, very nice support.

I’m trying to use the recent posts feature to open images in a lightbox instead of them linking to the post, is that possible?
Not natively as it kind of defeats the purpose, but I can do it for you as a quick custom job.
Yes it does for that feature, but I thought it would be the quickest rout for what I wanted to do. What I’m trying to do is create a large gallery for all our image posts. Ideally the best thing would be if I could set it to pick up the first image in each post for that category.
The best it can do is to collect the featured images and display them. Contact me if you need to open a gallery and not link to the posts.

I’m using the API , when enter 100 into the limit field then it’ll allow 100 etc. By default it’s 25.

I’ve spoken with Jack on the day he released the non-WP plugin, I’ll ask him again. He uses a different method that is specific to jackbox and likely won’t work out of the box.. for now.

Yes it’s cool, mind you that it only supports one line of caption inside the lightbox. The presets are only the appearance of the grid, has nothing to do with lightbox compatibility.

Neither. My plugin only manages which gets displayed. You set them in nextgen, facebook, flickr, wp post images..
So i need also nextgen plugin installed to work this out? i am brainstorming all day already, lets do some more 
NextGEN is not necessary for the grid to work, at all.

Íes you may, you need to use the nextgen fields for the image and display those… Not sure if nextgen supports html tags (for your links) though..
Hey there, mr. Firsh Looking for a plugin that would take care for all of my multimedia and social “problems” on WP…are you saying that in next update you will add support for Vimeo, Youtube? It would be amazing if there would be an option to click on thumbnail, then a Vimeo video pops up and darkens the background

Yes It’s almost included, but the lightbox is purposedly disabled for custom URL currently (which you use for vimeo or youtube links). This is to not try to load a page in the lightbox. But I’ll add an option to manage this. Some lightboxes natively support youtube and vimeo.

how would you suggest loading a video from a nextgen gallery thumbnail? i’ve added video support for nextgen gallery by using the image title as a URL for the hosted vimeo video and it works in a standard nextgen gallery but not when used with this AWESOME plugin. is there an easier or better way that you’ve come across? i’ve read all of the discussions and can’t seem to find a solution. any help or advice is appreciated!

I can re-add the lightbox support for custom URLs. That’s why you can’t see the video. If you add a youtube of vimeo url as custom URL it should show up in the lightbox, but only after I’ve sent you a little fix. I’ll include a switch for this in the next version. Until then send me a mail from my profile.
This custom URL I ’m talking about is for WP images. I’d like to see it closer where you add your custom url in nextgen so I can add support for it too.

In the WP media editor of the post, or in the media library, you’ll find a custom URL field where the native WP URL field is (which is buggy). It’s in the image properties where you set title, description etc.

Would it be possible to provide an exit call that would allow me to register a function to render the title / description for each image? I would like to be able to control the formatting and content and I think the simplest way would be for JIG to call a user-provided function just prior to rendering the content. That would make it possible for me to show whatever I wanted without you having to make customizations every time I change my mind
What do you mean? Which caption/description? On top of the thumbs or inside the lightboxes? What do you wish to change?
Curious if there is an option or how complex it would be to have a limit on initial images loaded and “get more” button.

I reffered to the documentation but i dont see where, plus how do you add different images to them if theyre all uploaded in the gallery of the page?
Use the include/exclude (enter attachment ID’s) to separate one post gallery into several smaller ones.
Is there a way to create a custom preset? I am choosing one of the presets listed and then tweaking specific settings. I then click on Save Changes, it tells me that the settings are saved, and the values are still there but the settings do not save. Am I doing this wrong?
You can’t create a custom preset nor can you change the presets. When you save in the settings, use the shortcode without the preset attribute and it’ll use your settings that you based on a preset in the plugin settings. Otherwise tweak your settings in the shortcode editor then copy paste the created shortcode wherever you need it like that.
