Is it easy to switch to your own grid system and class names? Is there a documentation for that?
There’s no documentation provided for this. But you can do that with some tweaks. Documentation for this will be released soon (1-2 weeks).

Just purchased this item and when I go and put in a post grid, I put in the category id i want displayed but it displays the all the last post in all categories. Not just the category I specified.
Try entering category slug in the “Categories” text area when you edit Teaser grid content element. Slugs you can find in Posts->Categories page or in your custom taxonomy overview page.
I installed and activated this plugin and it crashed my site due to a “call to undefined function” error.
When I tried to get help the Elite Author was not accessible except via forum. There was no help provided. The response I got was be certain you are using the newest version”. I didn’t know I could buy an old version.

Plugin is updated constantly, this is why I asked you to check that you are running latest version. So again, please go to your profile page here at CodeCanton -> Downloads and re-download updated plugin files. Then install them on your site. (1. Remove old version. 2. Install updated version) This is standard procedure for all files that are not “frozen”.
Hi, installed the plugin and activated it. Also allowed all privileges in the settings menu. Unfortunately the Button to open the Visual editor is not displayed in the pages/articles etc. Also by pressing HTML /Visual the button over the menu is not there.
Any suggestion how to start using the plugin?

Looks like javascript error to me. Just to make sure we are on the same page, please re-download updated plugin 3.4.4 (it was released recently) and install in your site. If you still can’t see “Visual Composer” button on Pages->add new. then try disabling 3rd party plugins and see if it helps. Some plugins can stop Visual Composer from working, due to js errors.
Thanks mixey, indeed. It was a plugin. “Wordpress Uploaded Files Cleaner” make the Visual Composer to be not displayed.

Just loaded and activated the plugin on our WordPress site hosted on Microsoft Azure (WAMP).
However, nothing in the interface has changed to allow me to use the plugin.
What am I missing?
Just few hours ago 3.4.4 version gone live, it takes care of the wamp problem. Please visit your profile->Downloads and re-download new version. Then install it on your site – it should help.

Just got the plug in. Using the “Post Slider” element. For some reason my images for the posts are displaying super pixelated. Am I doing something wrong? I’m using the Wordpress Coraline them.
By default, WP takes “thumbnail” image size and flexslider is stretching your images to fill 100% width of your slider container. So try this: edit your slider and in the image size field, enter medium or large. This will take larger image and as a result it will not look pixelated.

having a sizing issue with the sliders. We are trying to implement 3 sliders, side by side in a row, which is working fine, but it either does not take to the size noted with the flex slider, or it shows the previous image loaded if the next slide is any smaller in nivo. I wouldnt have a problem just resizing the images myself bu ti know the client will probably not like they they have to take the extra step. Any idea where i could edit the code to not have the previous image still loaded in the background, and only have the current image showing?

This is something related to flexslider and nivoslider. We don’t modify their code and they are used as a plugin inside of Visual Composer.
Bought your plugin a while back never had any reason to use it until recently. but its not working the way it should whenever i use it to create anything it redisplay this thing [emty], but not the content. I believe [empty] is outputted by your theme. You should check how your theme handles excerpts, maybe it’s adding filters to the the_content() or the_excerpt() functions.
P.S. To make sure this is theme related, try switching to the default WP theme.
I have an issue trying to put images of any kind. When I click to add the image, the black box disappears for some reason and never lets me choose the image, if I click again this message comes up: “If you close this window all shorcode settings will be lost”. What can I do, I purchase the plug in so I could use it to post more images.

What is the process? How can we replicate this behavior?
I want to create a page with three 1/3 boxes, each one of them with a single image and below just a text with a link. When I create the template, everything is great, then when I insert the single image block it’s ok it loads until it asks you if there is a link for the image, and the image size. When I click to add the image though, everything just disappears, leaving the screen black, when I click anywhere it shows the message I put before and I can never add any image. What can I do, because in the trial it loads this window to search for the picture on your library or wherever it is and add it. BTW , thanks for such a fast response.

Visual Composer simply generates shortcodes, so it will “insert” them in the current activated language.
@ rhj123456 = 100 % sorry guys, but after the last major update, the handling is not so good as before. for people who works with VC once a month maybe its ok, but for me, got many subpages on my site running with VC, its very uncomfortable. to many clicks .. to many windwos (BLACK ?) and the worst .. hover over the elements to see the grid of the site-elements in the editor ?? the new update is a step back !
New design was aimed to remove all the “boxed” feeling and make content to look more like it will look on the front end.
Black design is discussable and we are thinking to make it lighter.
ok … then … let the users decide if the like a gridview or not .. maybe in the settings ? be honest … do you need to hover over your instruments in your car to figure out how fast you are ?

If you are using WAMP for your development, then windows is the problem. However, fix will be available soon.

Neither Text boxes nor 3rd party shortcodes are working properly

Sorry for the late reply. I just downloaded the latest version but am still having problems. Once I save or publish my page, I cannot edit any text boxes I created and sometimes they dissapear from my page altogether. Shortcodes are inserted at the top and bottom of the text [/vc_column_text]. Hope you can help as the plugin is unusable in this state.

I won’t be as harsh as rhj123456 with his critique of your product but I must admit that I did prefer the previous approach used prior to the overlay windows and black backgrounds. It’s lost is fluidity and simplicity … making the process a little less enjoyable.
In fact I find the black background and harsh overlay so jarring that I’ll likely add some of my own custom CSS to over-ride these settings and make it look and feel a little more like the previous approach.
No offence … I just wanted to give you some feedback that you might find valuable.
