What a shame to see such a GREAT plugin go down the drain. The original one BEFORE all the black background junk was really great. I can’t see why as the developer you can’t see how you have broken this tool. You should go build a real site with the old version and the new. You will see the new version is just awful.

Why do js_composer/assets/images/*.png load when im not even using this.

I have the plugin enabled on the back end but I haven’t even used it yet. When I check the front end site its loading all these assets each time when I’m not using anything.

I tracked it down to the css but whats the solution?

I just uploaded and installed Visual Composer and it crashed my site. I get this error message: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_currentuserinfo() in /homepages/29/d266688557/htdocs/mm3/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/composer/lib/mapper.php on line 31

I agree this was a great plugin until the recent update made it impossible to use in a local host windows development environment. That is why all the WAMP windows users are begging for a fix.

I could not say enough good things about this plugin. Great job.. Keep coming out with updates, because this thing is going to be the best WP plugin for a while.

I just noticed that every time I use the visual composer to create a post, there is no excerpt on it, what makes our portal looks not that great, please take a look at our site www.brokerpulse.com. Any quick fix for this, can we add a field to the posts that allow us add customize or add excerpts when using *visual composer?

Hi, I just bought the plugin and installed it, it’s working, but not entirely Ok. Every time I want to add an image, (or almost anything else) using the Visual composer, nothing happens. It acts like is going to let me load images, for example, and then nothing happens, the composer stalls.

Can you please help?

VC do not work on Webmatrix local server, win7 64 ultimate. Hard to install(many errors) and no blue button.:confusedsad:

I use twitter bootstrap in theme, did i need js_composer_front.js or i can remove it via functions.php file?

Ok tried using latest VC 3 .4.3 and same issue. No settings page appears and no VC button appears to use the plugin when adding a new post/page. My details:

Windows 7, 64bit, WAMP Local, WP 3 .4.2, Lightword Theme, no other plugins installed, tried on FF 16 .0.1 as well as IE9 ….

Still broken guys…..

When you update the plugin so that you can see its settings?

I just uploaded the new version, and still no results on WAMP . I hope this means you are still working on a fix.

This is something that has been happening since the first update that maybe a clue: the page I created with 2.3.3 when viewed in the browser is not styled. The plugin style sheet is not being called when the page loads. Hope this helps some.

Still hopeful for a update to fix local host development in Windows WAMP .
