Can Partial Payment set to be €0? or is there any way to let logged in users to pre-order without any payment. Such that they get a message when product is arrived and they pay then. With easy link?

Hello there!

Using our WordPress WooCommerce Pre Order Plugin the admin can set the partial payment price as greater than or equal to 1.

If you want to set the partial payment price as 0 it will be a part of customization.

The customers do get notified via mail when their pre-order product is back into stock.

soem pre-sale questions:

1) if i add 1 preorder product in the cart and one normal product the plugin will manage to cerate 2 different roders? 2) if in the cart customer add 2 product in pre order with same available date from, the plugin will create a unique preorder ? 3) how preorder works with shipping costs?

>> Both product order Id will be the same, In my account >> Preorder or Order section setting >> You can check the whole order history and the same workflow for point number 2 as well.

3) how preorder works with shipping costs?

>> Shipping cost will be work same as the normal product.

Issue; once active, the products you enable/add to the cart get disappear after few minutes.

Does this work with Dokan Edit Product page?

Our Wordpress WooCommerce Preorder module is built on default woocommerce functionality.

If you want to use our plugin with Dokan Marketplace product edit page then it will not compatible with our module.

If you want to hide the countdown timer from the preorder Product page, then we need to customize our Preorder plugin currently we don’t provide any setting for hide the countdown.

we have some questions: 1. how is the stock managed? Should we put 0 to activate the pre order? 2. by ordering via pre order, the payment is done by the date of order or delivery? 3. by combining pre order products and in stock products, how you manage the payment? How is the delivery managed? 2 parcels one for the prodcuts in stock and another when the per ordered products will be available? Or is the delivery date the date of of the availability of the pre order product?

-> To activate the pre-order, product must be out of stock first. The admin has the option to manage the inventory for the pre-order products.

2. by ordering via pre-order, the payment is done by the date of order or delivery?

> Customers can order the Pre-order items with partial payment or full payment as well, After that Customer receives an email that notifies the customer that your pre-order product is back in stock. So, the customer will have to complete the order from the product page.

3. by combining pre-order products and in-stock products, how do you manage the payment? How is the delivery managed? 2 parcels one for the prodcuts in stock and another when the per ordered products will be available? Or is the delivery date the date of of the availability of the pre order product?

>> Preorder product will be deliver when the product is in stock and instock product product will be delivered after completing the order (it depends on the admin). Customer can pay the payment for preorder and instock product at a same time.. Availability date you can set for preorder product from the plugin setting and once the preorder product will be instock then you can again place the order then order will be delivered accordingly to the customer.

I would like to pre-sell a downloadable product, and set a release date for a few weeks later.

Do customers receive an email at time of purchase acknowledging their order?

When the release date has come, do the customers receive an automated email with the downloadable file links? (that will be for me as fulfilling the order)

-> Customer receives an email that notifies the customer that your pre-order product is back in stock. So, the customer will have to complete the order from the product page.

Hello, can this plugin auto prolongate release date? When I pick release date I don’t know exactly when product comes, because it depends on customs control, shipping etc, so when release date passes and product has not arrived, I have to manually set new date for all products which did not arrive. It is very hard. I would like release date to be prolongated until I change product status from pre-order into in stock when product arrives.

-> Are you referring to the Expected Availability Date of the pre-order product? If yes, then the admin has the option to display the Expected Availability Date of the product and the same will be visible to the customer on the product page.

Plugin code is open so you can customize the plugin accordingly. Is it typical for Product Name field in Pre Order Product creation to not search the DB of products?

Hi, The major issue; once active, the products you add to the cart disappear after two seconds. First the regular message that the product has been added to the cart shows up, then you see the product in the top right corner in the cart, and after 2 sec it disappears, also when you go to the cart page or the checkout page it is gone. This applies for BOTH pre-order and regular products when plugin is active.
