Hi guys, since last updates the load time in combination with filters is horrible. If we disable your plugin everything is fast.
WP Query monitor shows us exactly what happened.
Do you have a fix for it?
Thanks, Florian

Query Problems
Many Joins:
The query joins posts, term_relationships, term_taxonomy, terms, and twice postmeta. This causes significant load for large tables.
Subselect in the WHERE clause:
modellblausitz_posts.ID NOT IN (SELECT object_id FROM modellblausitz_term_relationships WHERE term_taxonomy_id IN (8))
Subselects in the WHERE clause are extremely expensive – a LEFT JOIN with IS NULL would be a better alternative here.
Double Use of Postmeta:
Two JOINs on postmeta (postmeta and mt1), which degrades performance if not indexed correctly.
Large IN Lists:
Many IN (...) conditions on term_taxonomy_id and term_id result in a large scan load if these columns are not indexed.
GROUP BY in conjunction with COUNT DISTINCT:
Grouping across many entries can overload the database if there are a large number of products.

Hello. I tried the demo and one thing want to make sure.
Is the plugin only allow one pre-order product per order?
I mean you cannot add other available or pre-order products in the cart at the same time, right?
Is it a setting we can change to have multiple pre-order in one order, or it limited by the plugin?
Thank you.

A few questions before purchase/recommendation to clients: 1) Has the option to turn off the clock been added to the settings options? 2) Are the colors customizable to the store’s asthetic? 3) Will there ever be a developer version of this plugin? I had a similar one that the creator is no longer available (or at least their website is not) and I had a developer license for it.
Thank you so much.

Hello, there. Pre-purchase question. Showcase scenario is: A customer makes a preorder for 3 products today, let’s call them 3A+shipping. A week later, the manufacturer announces 3 new products so I have to list them as a new preordered products. That client makes a new preorder for the new products, call them 3B+shipping. Estimated time for delivery is JUNE 2022 for 3A and 3B. I don’t want my client pay twice for shipping. This is happening a lot … Does your plugin solve this?
Hello there!

where the customers do not have to pay the shipping price twice – we will integrate this for you with the help of customization.

Hello, can we set no amount ($0) to a partial payment method, so only full payment is requested once product status change? Or maybe add a new payment method -> No Payment at Pre-Order. Thanks
Hello there!

>> The pre order price value must be greater than or equal to 1.
However, if you want we can make customization to set it to 0 using this you do not need to add a new payment method No payment.

Hello,
I have a few pre-purchase questions:
1. Can we invoice the customer when the product is available?
2. Can the customer cancel the pre-order?
3. In the backend, are pre-orders separated from other orders? If not, are they easily distinguished?
4. Does the customer have access to their “My Account” page? Well separated from other basic orders.
5. Do pre-ordered products automatically change to “available product” when the availability date passes?
6. Can “out of stock” products be automatically transformed into pre-order products?
7. How is the down payment functionality of pre-orders managed?
8. How are delivery costs managed?
Thank you,
Hello there!
Using our plugin the admin can send Pre order reminder and in stock mail to customers.
No currently there is no option for the customers to cancel a Pre order if you want this feature it will be a part of customization.
Yes, in the backend their is a separate section Pre Order List where you can find all the pre ordered products.
Yes, under the My accounts page, the customers have a section Pre Order where all the pre orders made are listed.
The admin can add a partial payment with the help of this the customers can pay the remaining fee amount after once the product is back in stock.
The shipping costs are applied additionally with the Pre-order product price.
If you have any other queries you may also check the user guide – https://webkul.com/blog/woocommerce-pre-order/
As per your this requirement – We can make the customization to transform the out of stock product as pre-orders.
Further, if you want any additional feature please reach out to us at support@webkul.com for customization requirements.
We will check and provide you a solution accordingly.
Thanks
Hello,
You did not answer all the questions…
5. Do pre-ordered products automatically change to “available product” when the availability date passes? (Is it integrated in your extension, or do I have to go through another extension)
6. Can “out of stock” products be automatically transformed into pre-order products?
7. How is the down payment functionality of pre-orders managed?
Thanks,
Dear Customer!
Yes, pre-ordered products automatically change to “available product” when the availability date passes.
you can check it in the screenshot – https://cdnblog.webkul.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/webkul-woocommerce-pre-order-cart-added-page-23.png
No, the “out of stock” products can’t be automatically transformed into pre-order products. If you want this feature it will be a part of customization.
The plugin provides a partial payment option for the pre-order products where the admin can set an initial amount that the customer needs to pay,
The remaining amount can be paid once the product is back in stock.
If you have any other queries or customization requests you can reach out to us at support@webkul.com
Thanks
Thnx for the plugin!

Hi there, does this work with downloadable products? We release pdf documents 3-4 times and year and allow pre-ordering of downloads that will be available in future. Is that possible? So if a customer pre-orders a download, when the download is released into stock they automatically receive an email letting them know that the download is available, is that possible?
Hello there!
Yes, this module do works with downloadable products.
As per your request you would like to have a downloadable product which a customer would be able to download every time a new version is released.
Yes, so if a customer pre-orders a product using our plugin feature they will be sent an email to download the same as soon as the product’s new release is available.
There are some minor things that we would need to add with the help of customization paid, and discuss your requirements in detail.
Please discuss us in detail over support@webkul.com about your complete requirements and we will help you regarding the same.
Thanks
Looking to purchase but want to ask a few questions: 1) Customer adds pre-order to cart and can check out like normal? 2) Can I set it so customer can pick to pay a partial payment and then we auto process the remainder a day before release or pay full payment? 3) Can we keep the standard release date and not use a counter?
Dear Customer!
Thanks for showing interest in our module. please find the answer to your queries below.
The customer can still add a pre-order product to their cart and checkout by making the partial i.e initial payment or full payment as set by the admin.
If you want to auto process the remainder product price a day before release or full payment it will be a part of customization.
Further, if you want to disable the counter and showcase the normal release date then this could also be done using customization.
Please reach out to us at support@webkul.com with your complete custom requirements and we will help you provide the solution accordingly.
Thanks
