I’ve updated the plugin to the current version, updated my payment info in Google, updated my API within Google and updated that API code in the theme. I’ve cleared my cache and tested in multiple browsers. I’m using ver 5.6 of WordPress.

In my plugins page, there is no notification that I need to update, but I was more than 1.5 versions behind. Why isn’t there a notification? I spent hours trying to fix this not realizing an update was available.
Please note that with updates, plugins that you purchase from Codecanyon doesn’t work the same way as plugins that you download from wordpress plugins site. Here, you get notified by email about new updates and for that, you need to visit your downloads page on Codecanyon and check the option “Get notified by email if this item is updated” that you find under each plugin.

We ran into a js error in the carousel we are requesting be fixed by the next update. We applied a temporary fix, but if not fixed on your side we will have to reapply our patch. The error caused the posts not to display properly within the carousel. I have a screenshot I would be happy to send through on request of the console error.

Two features I can’t get to work: (1) marker animations and (2) having a KML/KMZ layer not displaying by default so the user has to turn it on.
(1) I’ve looked at your demos and don’t see any animations under ‘Markers’ (and haven’t found any other demos using animated markers).
(2) the show/hide feature in the ‘Add KML/KMZ Layers’ demo doesn’t seem to work.

2. Regarding KML layers, just checked the demo at ( https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/kml-layers/add-kml-kmz-layers/ ) and it works fine. Please make sure to update the plugin to the latest version 5.6.3. If it doesn’t work, please send me the link of your map to check this.

Re marker animations, The settings for animations don’t seem to do anything. I select “bouncing marker” and “pulsating circle” but nothing happens. Is a default (not custom) marker required?
Re KML layers, for some reason the KML layers in your demo weren’t working for anyone on our team earlier, but they are now. But my question: is there a way to have the layers off by default, so users can click the menu to turn them on? I don’t want the layers to be visible when the map first loads.

Hi there, my users are having difficulties realizing that you can click the image/title of a location in the Progress Filter & List cards below the map to navigate to the respective post. I am interested in this plugin for a map to show different searchable an filterable locations of different categories, each location having information about them. I do have a few questions though:
1 – The map would originally show a whole province. I would like to “draw” the border of different regions and make them clickable. When a region is clicked, the map would change its general view (Longitude, latitude and zoom) to show the region. Is that possible using your plugin? And if yes, does it require one of your addons, and which one?
2 – The map would be filled by posts based on categories. One post = One location to show on the map. They would be divided into categories of posts (Categories of locations to show) with different marker style depending on the category of the post. Not all post categories would appear on the map. Is this possible using your plugin?
3 – Website users will be able to write and reply to comments about each location. Would your carrousel and/or infoboxes/Detailed popup of a location of the map be able to show the comments and ratings of said location?
4 – This question concerns the addon Nearby Places. We would like to use it to display nearby partners. Can the Nearby places be based on custom elements? They could simply be based on a category of posts.
5 – And finally my last question… Is this plugin compatible with advanced custom fields? For example, if we had a custom field on one of the location post, could the information in said custom field be displayed on the infobox or carrousel element of a location when using the map?

1. Yes you can use the plugin to draw your regions. All other options you mentioned are also available. You can see a demo at https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/polygons/draw-polygons-on-the-map/ . More examples can be found at https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/polygons/ . You can also hide all map except for a specific region. Find a demo at https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/map-holes/highlight-specific-areas-of-interest/ (No add-on required!)
2. Yes you can show specific posts and/or post categories on the map. Each category of posts can have a different marker image. Here’s a working example https://codespacing.com/progress-map-demos/markers/marker-categories-icons/
3. Regarding comments, the plugin doesn’t provide any option to write comments about locations. Your theme must support this feature and comments can be written only from the location details page. Showing the comments inside the carousel and/or infoboxes is also not possible through the plugin settings. The only option available to show comments within the map is by using a custom code. The plugin provides some hooks that allows displaying custom content inside the carousel and the infoboxes. In general, this is possible to do.
4. Nearby places works only with the service Google Places. Showing any custom data instead of the data provided by that service is impossible.

it’s not possible to upload an image with the custom field html image upload. In Safari I get the error:

My map is not loading. Until recently it was working correctly, and I’m not aware of any changes made to the website that might have broken it. When I inspect the page and look under the “Console” tab, it says “DevTools failed to load SourceMap” along with

Presale question, we need a search filter that once the map results are shown, the title and image should link directly to an external link, not a post inside the site. Is this possible that all results only have external links attached to it? thank you.

Does the plugin can show the route from A to B by “asking for my location” and showing possible road to A or B destination?

I think you’re are confusing between the “Autofit” option and the “Map bounds restriction”. Please deactivate the autofit option ( http://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/map-settings/extend-the-map-bounds-to-contain-all-markers-clusters-autofit/ ) and follow the instructions mentioned in the following link to restrict the map bounds: http://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/map-settings/restrict-map-bounds/

so i followed all that – even before. I assume – the read more says Once satisfied with the area been covered, click on the button “Copy bounds”. i do not see that option. I see Display bounds it seems not to do anything. Also – active dragging mode should drag the boundary box i assume – it only drags the map. Draw from scratch doesnt appear to do anything either. I am using Chrome.

Hi,
You can do this either by deactivating the clusters or by changing the grid size but i suggest you keep the clusters, otherwise, all locations with the same address will appear like one point because each point will be on top of the other.
